"I didn't always want to become a writer. I didn't always think I would become a faithful reader, either... It wasn't until the day I picked a book from a Walmart shelf, which I had passed over several times, that I realized exactly what I was missing. Reading then became my favorite way to escape."
At 30 years old, I have lived many lives: ranch work in Cody, Wyoming, traveling across the United States on a whim, walking across the desert in Las Vegas, Nevada, at 4 A.M. But none of those stories compare to finding out I was pregnant while at basic training when I was 20 years old.
Now that I am married and my daughter is 10, life has changed. I work as a corporate procurement associate for Sappi North America, I work very part time at a local brewery, I write as much as I can when I get the chance, and last summer I learned to ride a motorcycle.
I saw this author sharing her book on tiktok, and it definitely grabbed my interest. First, I would like to say thank you to the author for the opportunity to ARC read. I am honored.
Now for the book... get your popcorn ready and your day free because this is a hard one to put down. I absolutely love the FMC and her sassy mouth. She had me giggling from the beginning in her drunken stupor 🙈 She's fierce and also the daughter of the fallen angel, Lucifer. The twists turn, and rollercoaster never stops. That's what I did love about this book. It was never dull. I never felt like I needed more. The fighting and trials were done so well, too. Spice and banter ABSOLUTELY FREAKING great!!
You will not be disappointed in this Indie authors book.
Buckle up, buttercup, because this book is a wild ride straight into chaos! 😇🔥💀
Imagine an angel academy where the lessons are tough, the rules are made to be broken, and the hottest extracurricular activity is sneaking into Hell’s backyard! 😈✨ Meet Ellewin, the rebellious daughter of you-know-who (hint: big wings, shiny halo), who is here to prove that being an angel doesn’t mean playing nice.
This story has it ALL—freaky monsters terrorizing the streets 🐾🩸, heart-pounding missions 🎯, and a team of misfit heroes who are just barely holding it together. Add some juicy secrets, laws being broken left and right ⚖️❌, and a showdown with the big boss of the underworld himself…oh yes, LUCIFER makes an appearance 😏🔥.
There’s drama, danger, and enough twists to make your head spin like a halo on caffeine! ☕👼 So grab your armor (or popcorn 🍿), because this book is an unholy mix of badass action, dark temptation, and OMG moments that will leave you screaming, “What just happened?!”
If you love angels breaking bad, hellfire adventures, and a plot that doesn’t quit, THIS is your next obsession. 😇👉😈 Let’s goooo! 🚪🔥👀
ARC READER REVIEW: So I binged the book in one day. I fell for the characters, the story line, and the SPICE…. I like that you can relate to some of the characters inner demons they are facing daily. It really makes you question what is good and bad and how far you’d go to protect the ones you love!

Oh man, I absolutely LOVED this book. It was such a good balance of good vs evil within a religious themed story. The Prince of Lust being the voice of reason for the daughter of Archangel Michael as they fall in love was beautiful. Their dynamic throughout the book was making me feel all the things. As someone who questions my own beliefs I love that there was pushback on the laws put forth by the higher powers and not just blindly following it. The banter was definitely something I enjoyed as they pushed boundaries and broke rules to get to their HEA. The smut was also smutting! Do check your trigger warnings!
I honestly cannot believe the twists and turns this book took! One minute I’m crying, the next I’m gasping and saying “No fucking way!” I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and will definitely reread!
P.S. I may or may not have recommended this book to a couple of friends ;)
*ARC Review* This may be the fastest I have ever finished a book because I couldn’t put it down. It has everything! Friendship, love, adventure, spice, all wrapped up in an amazing story. Highly recommend.
Wild from start to finish! Ellewin is a character that makes you fall in love with her mischievous, sasshole self! Her stubbornness, commitment and attitude will make you love her character but also question her antics a bit. This is such a truly interesting take on a story involving religion, mortality and morals - to say that this book will keep you on your toes is an understatement!
It was so much fun reading this book. I loved the take on Heaven and Hell. The author really wrote about both in ways I had never thought of which had me easily finish the book in under 24 hours. I didn’t not want to stop reading it. So good! Looking forward to a second novel.
The Books of Asmodeus presents an ambitious premise: an angel who falls in love with the prince of demons. On paper, this should offer a compelling blend of forbidden romance and epic conflict. Unfortunately, this story left much to be desired.
One of the book’s biggest challenges lies in its chaotic structure. The narrative jumps between perspectives and plot points too abruptly, making it difficult to follow the story’s trajectory or feel grounded in the world. The plot itself also falters. Scenes that should carry emotional weight often feel hollow and lack the necessary build-up to leave a lasting impact.
The characters suffer from a lack of development. The angel and the demon prince, the story’s emotional core, never fully come alive on the page. Their motivations are hinted at but barely explored, which leaves their relationship feeling rushed and disingenuous.
For readers looking for character depth, clarity, and a strong narrative arc, this novel may prove more frustrating than rewarding.
What an amazing ride! Between the twists and turns, the angels and demons, and the hea for our mc. I couldn't put this down(I didn't want too) I can't wait to see what happens next!
This book has the bones to be really good but the execution is somewhat lacking. I think this is the authors first book so she’s off to a good start but needs to improve quite a bit in the next one.
Firstly, the plot overall is interesting with the districts of Hell and how the angels fell. I think it is cool how the angels can visit and party in Hell. The creatures attacking the citizens of Hell was a great concept and the action that went into that. Also, the MMC is hot 🥵
But here’s where it fell apart for me. Plot holes and characters:
The worst thing about this book was the FMC and her friends/class mates. WHY did they act like 17 year olds???? This is my face when I found out they were supposed to be 200 years old = 🫠 There is no way that anyone who is 200 years old acts this childish. Their decision making during some scenes was just straight up naive. Make it make sense. The FMC also acts very pick-me for parts of this too (girl, stand up for real).
Then they are in a training academy, but seem useless at fighting and with weapons. When did they even start in this academy? Because they should be immensely better at it seeing as they graduate at the end of the book. Did they start when they were 199 years old? 🤷🏼♀️
Lastly, why does the MMC fall for the FMC in the first place? It seems like she’d been going to his brothel for ages and then he randomly approaches her and it starts from there. But why does he like her over the others (he’s extremely old and she acts like a kid)? There doesn’t seem to be any valid reason for this. Their introduction was rushed off to me.
Aside from having those issues, I still liked the book. The cliffhanger at the end of this is a good segway into the next book.
But I’m begging the author to make the characters behaviour more mature and realistic in the next one. Please!🙏🏻
📖📖📖📖📖📖📖📖📖📖📖 Title: Th Book of Asmodeus Author: Crede Axton Page Count: 336 Format: E-book Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Book Number: 31 Dates Read: 2/20-22 Review: I was given this free advanced copy, and I leave this review voluntarily.
The cover was what had drawn me in initially. I went into the book only knowing it involved angels and demons. Upon entering the story, I was swept into a world of hurt, addiction, and friendships. The main character, Ellewin, was portrayed as selfish, carefree, and insecure. As the story progressed, her character did grow. The pacing of the story was slow. There is lots of drama, passion, and twists to keep the story moving. Also, the spice in the story didn't disappoint. I would definitely continue with the series. I would also recommend to anyone looking for angels and demons story or a spicy forbidden romance story.
I love that the FMC in this book isn’t a teenager firstly. It’s a retelling of Heaven’s Angels vs. Demons and Fallen Angels with a modern day edge. Without giving any spoilers… The FMC is sassy and hyper-independent in the beginning, towards the ending she lost that for a while and it didn’t really fit the personality that was built throughout the book. Spice is there with the MMC but the initial encounter timing was a little odd. 🌶️🌶️ some scenes I really double checked if this was written by a male or female author. There is the briefest hint of unrequited love. The overall storyline is great and the ending really sped the series up in a good way. I would definitely read the next book in the series.

This is DEFINTELY a favorite of the year; I have always loved and been fascinated by the Underworld. I was hooked from the first 2 chapters! 🔥💀 Rules are made to be broken at the Angel Academy, the most exhilarating thing that you can do is sneak in Hell's very own backyard. Like really, who wouldn't be curious. You'll be introduced the Archangel himself daughter and ooohhh boy 😈
Prepare to meet all the monsters that creep in the dark, while you fall in love with Ellewin's character while she takes you on a wild journey. Sit back and enjoy the ride, because this is not one you would want to miss.
Crede is definitely providing details to visualize and feel like you are there.
From start to finish this book grabbed my attention. The protagonist, Ellewin, the daughter of the famous fallen angel, Lucifer is the center piece of this book. For fans of Hunger Games, The Shadowhunter series this is a book for you. With drama, danger, and constant twists, this story is an unholy blend of badass action, dark temptation, and jaw-dropping moments.
Grab some snacks, a drink and snuggle up next to your Christmas tree while diving into the world Crede Axton has created you won't regret it.

I loved this take on the Angel vs Demon theme and the portrayal of what can come from a Being's unbending rules. Don't get me wrong, without rules we have anarchy. However, before condemning someone, we first need to understand why they broke the rules. Punishing someone because of whom they have fallen in love with is wrong, as that is something none of us really has any control over.
I am really looking forward to the next book in the series.
I received a free copy of The Book of Asmodeus through BookSirens and have chosen to leave a review.
This book was an interesting take on angels and demons that I have not seen before. Battle scenes were written well. But I found myself struggling to finish it, but I eventually did. I liked the romance aspect, but found alot of it too farfetched, even for a fantasy novel. I probably won't read the sequel, but I will say the writing was very well done.

Loved, loved, loved. Beautiful writing, hardly any grammatical errors (which is super rare in an ide book) The story progressed well, and the characters had me laughing for chapter after chapter and thn equally wrenching my heart with the emotional turmoil and struggle of forbidden love as well as childhood trauma. I need more like I need air. I need more…immediately.
.Let's call it a 3.5. I liked the premise, and for a first try, it's pretty good. I'd like to see the author continue and gain more experience under her belt. I will be looking for book 2.

The whole book is like a roller coaster ride. The amount of suspense and the mystery made me so much into this book. I always loved badass female lead I loved elle a lot on this book. The author had written this book so much passion and it's well shown in the book. If you are the fan of fantasy romance read then this book is for you
The whole time I was thinking about ML pov . The ML pov made this book so much more interesting.
