I’m not usually a fan of anthologies, but each of the stories in the fifth book of the Interview with the Devil series did a great job of picking up with The Epoch left off.
The new world that Joe Banbury ushered in looked great on the surface, but each story gave glimpses to the world that was cracking and bringing a new parasite that threatens everything Joe built.
Characters from previous books in the series made cameos which helped tie them back to the previous four books.

Wow
Harbron is the craziest writer that I've ever read. He is able to start in one direction and then pivots in ways that would snap our necks. This anthology does that in crazy ways. This book goes from horror/sci-fi to full on splatter punk. This book has necrophilia, incest, and pedophilia in the first story alone. This dude is such an amazing writer. I can't wait for more!

I seriously could not finish this. So disappointed. The stories were lacking and some just made no sense
