Happy ever after’s don’t apply to me…
I have six weeks left of my sabbatical in LA before I go home to my family and our business. I’ve spent months traveling, surfing and working on my tan but I get bored easily and I needed more. So that’s what led me to my temporary job – and Violet West. The most hypnotically beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, whose killer curves and sharp tongue rock my world.
But the clock is ticking and my return ticket is booked. I need to be careful I don’t fall too hard. I need to keep my composure when she tempts me to take a leap of faith with her, when she gets me so hot and bothered I end up in the emergency room. When she invites me into her home and convinces me to break my self-inflicted sex-ban… But the biggest risk? When she shows me what it feels like to be really loved, something I know nothing about. And now I don’t want to leave. But I know good things never last… right?
If you loved Lincoln, be sure to meet his sexy friend Jacob in book 2 of The Billionaire Boys!
VH Nicolson is an emerging author of contemporary romance. Vicki wrote her first book over lockdown and is now completely smitten with writing love stories with happily ever afters. VH Nicolson was born and raised along the breathtaking coastline in North East Scotland. For more than two decades she’s worked throughout the UK and abroad within the creative marketing and design industry, as a branding strategist and stylist, editor of a magazine and sub-editor of a newspaper. Married to her soul mate, they have one son. She has a weakness for buying too many quirky sparkly jumpers, eating Belgium buns, and walking the endless beaches that surround her beautiful Scottish hometown she’s now moved back to.
Lincoln is on a journey of self discovery. With a push from his father, he sets out for America. With his final 6 weeks in Santa Monica, he meets Violet. Little does he know his life is about to turn upside down…
Violet is independent, warm, and a workaholic. When she meets Lincoln attraction flares. With only 6 weeks Violet is determined to guard her heart.
With insecurities plaguing them is their connection strong enough to endure or will they be their undoing?
I loved how perfect Violet and Lincoln were for each other. Their chemistry is off the charts hot. Lincoln had me swooning a few times during this book. The banter was awesome and I loved this story, plus all the characters.
I loved everything about this 📖 book. I couldn’t stop reading, took in every single crumb and left nothing behind anything that fell on the floor I licked it up 😭😭😂. OMG I loved Lincoln so much, so humble and sweet he showed so much loved and gave loads of words of affirmation to violet when she needed it and in general, giving her so much confidence. It was so cute when Lincoln couldn’t stop talking when he scared or nervous, I found that so adorable, same goes for violet. Violet was honestly was so perfect for him such a horny girl, which I found funny and nice to see it’s the girl inciting instead of the man constantly.
I think my favourite scene from this book is the chilli 🌶️ dick that killed me , I couldn’t stop laughing. The most heartbreaking scene was the confrontation with the mom. My soul was honestly in pieces reading that chapter. This is my first time reading a book mainly from the mmc POV which was nice for a change, can’t wait to read the next book in the series JACOB 🥴✌️
Lincoln is the first book in the new The Boys of Castleview Cove series by VH Nicolson. Thank you for the ARC! He is the son of one of the characters in Nicolson’s previous Triple Trouble series and he was so worth the wait! This book is all around awesome. It has a fabulous male lead who appears confident, but has to face his underlying insecurities during the course of the story. Violet, the female lead, is feisty - fitting right in with the characters from previous books who all make appearances (we all know I love it when that happens). There are a couple of plot twists I never saw coming, but they absolutely work. I love how supportive Lincoln is of Violet and that she is not afraid to go after what she wants. This is a spicy read, so make sure you’ve charged all your self-help devices! 😂 Finally the teaser for the next book deserves a mention all of its own…Jacob promises to be rather breathtaking.
Lincoln is nearing the end of his 6 months travelling away from his home in Scotland and his directorship with his family's hotel. (For those who have read Unexpected Eva will have had a glimpse of how wonderful Lincoln is 😍). He has used his time to explore the US and this joins him when he has a few weeks left in California. He has avoided repeating his prior pattern and has been avoiding women and encounters while away. ENTER Violet (I love her so much!). Violet is a successful, sexy, intelligent and independent woman, focused on her job, working for her dad. Lincoln mistakes Violet for someone else when they first meet, but he is blown away by her immediately and when her identity becomes clear quickly after and that he will be working even closer with her - it's on for a very steamy few weeks. Can this ever only be for 6 weeks? The dialogue between them is great, Violet quickly gets under Lincoln's skin and in his heart and starts to help him heal from a past hurt. Lincoln builds her confidence in how gorgeous she is and she starts to wonder if there is more to life for her than her current path. Violet is not afraid to ask for what she wants and Lincoln delivers. They are seriously hot together - she definitely opens his eyes to a couple of tricks 😂. We also get the amazing added bonus of his dad (Knox 🥵) and the rest of the triple trouble clan. What happens though when his past catches up with him 💔 and Violet needs to decide what her future holds. This is such a wonderful story between Violet and Lincoln and I don't want to spoil the ending - but the twists and turns are epic! I love the strength of Violet, Lincoln's vulnerability, the fight for a HEA and the love and support of the whole family unit that we see in the book. I love how much of a role the whole family plays in this book (and the previous triple trouble series). ❤️
Lincoln and Violet are both swoon worthy and I was fully invested in their story. I was provided Lincoln as an ARC and this is my honest review.
And as for the glimpse of Jacob... 🥵 I'm off to reread Knox and Eva's story 😍.
3🌟+ - read and enjoyed but didn't emotionally connect/get invested to characters or plot. 4🌟+ - good read, emotional connection made, had some minor reservations on characters or plot. 5🌟 - great read, fell in love with characters, emotionally invested and emotional response to plot and characters. Would happily read again 😊
This was my first book by this author and it started a very unhealthy obsession with the billionaire boys. Although they aren't boys they are very much men!
Lincoln was sin in a suit and Violet was a very real and relatable fmc. I'm not one to kink shame as each to their own but one little thing did knock half a star off for me as it doesn't get my engine purring if you know what I mean .
Pre warning the 🌶️ scene is not what you will be expecting and was just writing perfection.
Funny story, I changed the MMC’s name because my son’s name is Lincoln.
Anywayyyyyyy, this is HOT. Like hot hot. I had to put the book down on several occasions because I needed to be a functional adult. Smutty perfection 🥵
I absolutely love VH Nicolson’s work. Her Triple Trouble Series was fantastic and I’ve been hooked ever since! So I expected nothing but another amazing book! And Lincoln was just that! - it delivered on all accounts. ✔️insta-love/fate ✔️feisty, strong female lead ✔️ sexy male lead ✔️small town romance ✔️spicy/steamy
We meet Lincoln Black in Unexpected Eva as Knox’s son and I fell in love with him even then. He’s a good looking and sweet- dirty talking sexy man( Greek and Scottish mixed😮💨)He’s basically the definition of a #bookboyfriend and i am so here for it👏🏻👏🏻
Lincoln sets out to “find himself” because let’s face it- everyone had insecurities and Linc’s definitely effects him even though he tries so hard to not show it. With daddyKnox pushing this trip on him to see if he wants the life of a hotel director in Scotland( family business) so he travels to America and settles his last 6 weeks in California where he meets the most beautiful, sassy, confident(in her job, not her body) woman Violet West. Curves for days and a heart of gold Violet makes Lincoln question his entire existence. She is a real woman- with real issues and one damn healthy sexual appetite who knows what she wants in the bedroom and I love it.
The chemistry is off the charts with these two characters and it’s incredibly powerful- the story does throw in a twist that even I did 👏🏻not👏🏻 see👏🏻coming👏🏻 the dynamic Nicolson brings to her books is amazing. I’ve laughed so hard in this book especially when she brings back our favorite triplets and their men( I don’t think I will ever get enough of Hunter and Fraser) and we are also introduced to new characters like Jacob and Owen🔥🔥😛😛😛 (BTW that Jacob sneak peek🤯)
This love story isn’t just a love of a couple who found each other in the most unexpected times but it’s also love about the family that Nicolson provides in her book and how important it is in every story provided whether it be blood related or not. She always captures what truly matters of the heart and it provides an amazing story- one that I will always pick up and read.
Omg! This! A few words… Tall.Tan.Toned and sexy AF Lincoln Black literally captivates you from the beginning! His and Violet’s love story is 🔥🔥🔥! He calls her “Petal” and worships her in every.single.way!!! I learned about VH Nicolson’s Triple Trouble series a few months back and I’m here to tell you, I was obsessed!! She just has a way of telling a story… it’s so relatable and addicting. I had never ever been so absorbed by a series. If you haven’t read the stories of Eden, Ella and Eva (they are the triplets from the Triple Trouble series) do yourself a favor and read them! I dare you to try to stop after starting! The chemistry all of them have with their men is off the charts! And I love that she incorporates them all in this new book as well… I love it when an author can give you more info into the characters that made you such a huge fan in the first place. Lincoln and the new series he is a part of, The Boys of Castleview Cove, is PHENOMENAL! You’ll laugh, melt, swoon and be so enthralled by Lincoln I can promise you your other book boyfriends will be in danger of being forgotten! 🔥🔥 I’m beyond excited for her future books!! HUGE FAN!
I’ve loved each and every book of the Triple Trouble series. I felt so sorry for Lincoln in Knox’s book he just wants someone to love him and finally he finds her. I thought Knox was hot but OMG Lincoln is just on another level. His work life balance is virtually non existent and has left little time for love but it’s this that brings him and Violet together. Their story is steamy, sassy and omg so funny. They’re such a good match. Violet teaches him that not everyone will leave him and he is worthy of love. She makes the ultimate sacrifice to prove how much he means to her. I can’t wait to see what Vicki has in store for us next!!
I've loved Lincoln since we were first introduced to him in The Triple Trouble Series so when Vicki announced Lincoln would be the next story told, I was straight in there!
Lincoln and Violet from their very first encounter you knew they were destined for each other. The journey to their HEA is a rollercoaster but one that I'm glad I was on board for. I loved how you assume that Lincoln is this over confident playboy but in reality he has some big vulnerabilities that come into play. Violet is the best person to help him grow and learn as a person!
This is another example of a beautiful romance story so thank you!
(I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review)
Lincoln was first introduced in Unexpected Eva which was his dad Knox’s story. So I was beyond excited that Lincoln was going to be telling his story. Then add that his story is the first in a new series makes me one happy reader! Lincoln & Violet’s story was everything that I wanted it to be and more.
Lincoln was on a journey and the last thing he expected was to find Violet. I loved how Violet challenged Lincoln right from the beginning. Lincoln & Violet had terrific banter & chemistry. I loved that there moments that me smile & tear up while reading. Lincoln & Violet were imperfectly perfect for each other. I absolutely adored them.
I especially loved seeing characters from Triple Trouble series. If you haven’t read Triple Trouble series, I highly recommend. I read the whole series in a matter of days. I am not ready to leave these characters & their world behind! So I am excited that Jacob & Skye’s story is next.
Lincoln has taken six months off to travel. He lives in Scotland, and owns a hotel with his dad and grandfather. Work is his life and his father wanted him to get out and live some. So he traveled all around but tired of that quickly. With a few weeks left, he settles in Santa Monica. He gets a part time job at a gym, as he’s use to working and bored. That’s how he meets Violet.
Violet works with her father and responsible for acquisitions. They have just bought some gyms and she is at one to help with the transition. After an awkward start, her and Lincoln click right away. He has a ton of good ideas about how to improve the gym. She looks forward to his input for the remaining weeks.
But work turns to lust in a flash and they decide to take on a short relationship. But as the days go by, they really fall for each other and don’t know what they are going to do..as one lives in the US and the other in Scotland.
Overall, this was a good read. A little through the middle read a bit slow but towards the end, it picks up and is really good. We get a little bit of his friends, Jacob and Owen, and they will both have their own books. Loved Lincoln’s family and that world created. Good start.
Oh god Lincon ! where do I start I loved Lincon when he was in unexpected Eva and I needed more of him this fun loving very sexy Scot needed his HEA and boy does he get it. we join Li con in America and honestly I was laughing from the first few pages .. he had the same brain to mouth malfunction thing as me ! .. what's the phrase open your mouth and let yer belly rumble lol 😆 Lincon is still the loveable rogue that was in unexpected Eva but as his story unfolds get your tissues at the ready cause .. this man is everything !!! when he meets violet well let's just say she leaves him speechless!! Violet is a real woman and she has real issues . The lack of confidence in her body image struck a cord with me. A reminder that we all have hook ups about our bodies but our person will always love us ❤️ .. that really hit me with all the feels 🥺. so the chemistry between these two is off the scales crazy and the heat, oh man the heat 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. As we all know the path of true love never runs smoothly but I NEVER seen the twist coming .. I may have shed a tear or two 🥺 Lincon was another spectacular read from VH Nicholson . I highly recommend and its definitely 5 stars from me !
There were elements of this book that I liked and ones that I didn’t. Spoilers Ahead. I found it a bit hard to connect to the story at first I felt the relationship was a bit insta-love ish and sometimes sex orientated. As time went on and there was more development I appreciated the relationship between Violet and Lincoln more. There were a few times were Violet annoyed me with the way she talked about Lincoln and how “damaged” he was from his mother leaving as a child. I also was really irritated at the scene where Violet confronted Lincoln about “cheating” on her due to the fact that she did it in front of the kids. If your upset that’s justified but don’t start bringing up negative things like that infront of children. The confrontation scene between Lincoln and Olivia as well as Lincoln’s reaction to the confrontation was a hard hitting scene. The emotions it evoked were really powerful and impactful, I thought those scenes were done really well. Lastly, the cameos of the family especially the Black family members were some of my favourites, the scene where Hamish and Archie gave Lincoln the heart shaped rock and Knox helping to get Violet to Castleview Cove were absolutely beautiful. Overall, it took some time to get into the book but I did enjoy it.
I reread this book as it’s being republished through Boldwood Books- thank you to the publisher, author and NetGalley for the early copy.
I’m still a big fan of Violet and Lincoln. They have an instant connection and this book is very much insta love, but when you learn more about them both and their pasts it totally makes sense why. I love how their story develops and how they are each strong for the other when it’s needed. I always love to see more of Knox and Eva too!
Original review from 2022: Wow, loved this book! This is the author’s best work so far. I really enjoyed Unexpected Eva and wasn’t a huge fan of Lincoln in that book so wasn’t expecting to love him in this one but was only a couple of pages in when I realised I had him all wrong! There were lots of funny moments in here, and some heartbreaking ones, but both Lincoln and Violet are great characters who you will absolutely fall in love with. Highly recommend.
VH Nicolson you have done it again. After the triple trouble series , this is perfect!!!
I'm a sucker for a Scotsman!!! With that said dayum Lincoln Black is now my go to book boyfriend!! The chemistry between Violet and Lincoln is just perfect and the banter also is so wonderful. The insta love trope has all the right feels for me. This book is most definitely going to be my comfort read in the future. I ❤️ Lincoln n Violet.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, VH Nicolson isn't just the best new author to come along in the last year, she's the kind of rising star who has no limits when it comes to how far she can go. Her 4th book, Lincoln, elevates her to the levels of seasoned authors with years of experience under their belts.
The world has already been built. In Lincoln, we are reminded of our love for Castleview Cove, Scotland, and all of the amazing characters we were introduced to in the Triple Trouble series (Hunting Eden, Inevitable Ella, and Unexpected Eva). While Lincoln is the first book in Nicolson's 2nd series, and you needn't have read the prior series, it just adds to the emotional ties in this book if you have.
The depth of Nicolson's characters are second to none. Lincoln has so many layers, only Violet could ever be able to peel them back like an onion to reach the depths of his soul. Further, Violet has issues of her own, but Lincoln has this innate sixth sense where she is concerned, and his ability to read her enables her to blossom in a way she never has before.
Steam? Lincoln and Violet have chemistry that leaps off the page! And when these two are together, it's combustible!
Witty? This book has THE SINGLE FUNNIEST SCENE I've ever read in my life! I laughed so hard I had tears running down my face and my stomach ached! So I read it again! The banter is phenomenal!
This story is charming, smart, funny, sexy, steamy, explosive, heartbreaking, soul lifting in ways you only dream every book was written! 5 stars are not nearly enough!
If you read just one book this summer, make it Lincoln! You'll thank me for it! 💜🖤💜🖤💜🖤💜🖤💜🖤 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
After meeting and falling in love with Lincoln in Unexpected Eva, I was thrilled with the prospect of him getting his time to shine, and oh how he shone!
Taking an extended period of time away from work, enforced by his father, Lincoln travels to many destinations before settling for his final six weeks in Santa Monica.
Meeting the dynamic Violet was therefore, most definitely, fate.
Their immediate connection jumped off the page and sizzled and sparked to life quickly, carrying the reader along in the excitement of their 'never before experienced ' insatiability.
But this book is so much more than two 'people' acting on their attraction for each other.
The way that Violet, although outwardly confident, is constantly second guessing her worth outside of work is sadly familiar.
The way that Lincoln sees what Violet can't and sets about fine tuning her vision is simply stunning. Violet, in turn, is exactly what Lincoln needs when he needs it!
There are so many beautiful aspects to this amazing story and it should not be missed.
Lincoln, the debut novel in The Boys of Castleview Cove series has set the bar so incredibly high. All that and the anticipation of what is to come for Jacob and Owen! I for one can't wait.
This 'new' Scottish author continues to take my breath away with her compelling storytelling and has certainly become a 'one-click' author for me.
Having read Ms.Nicolson's Triple Trouble Series i couldn't wait for more from her! Ever since this book was announced i've been wanting to read it! I've looked forward to it ever since. I picked it up and got right into The Boys of Castleview Cove world! I so enjoyed this story!
I was so glad that Lincoln was getting his very own book!
Violet and Lincoln's journey captured my attention so very quickly! While trying to figure out things, Lincoln heads from Scotland to California. Little did he know it'd be there where he'd meet Violet and have his world changed. Can these two follow their hearts?
I really liked how these two were brought together and getting to dig deeper with both Violet and Lincoln! These two had me grinning many times throughout. I wasn't sure how it'd all play out for them and i very much enjoyed that. They had such great chemistry! I definitely felt many things throughout with Lincoln and Violet!
With Lincoln, Ms.Nicolson has created such a good and entertaining read with feels and steam! I can't wait to dive back into The Boys of Castleview Cove world with the second installment, Jacob!
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from Give Me Books Promotions / the author*
If you’re looking for a billionaire romance that delivers not just heat but also depth, Lincoln by V.H. Nicolson is the perfect pick. It’s an addictive, emotional, and spicy read with well-developed characters and a story that lingers long after you turn the last page.
The story follows a strong, successful woman who unexpectedly becomes the boss of the man she’s falling for—only he doesn’t realize it. Lincoln is determined to change his ways, leaving one-night stands behind him, but when he meets her, he’s forced to break his own rules. Their chemistry is undeniable, but what really makes this book stand out is the emotional journey beneath the surface.
What I loved most about Lincoln was the character development and emotional depth. Beyond the steamy moments, the book explores themes of abandonment, self-worth, and learning how to love when you’ve always expected people to leave. It’s raw, real, and beautifully written.
This book made me laugh, made me cry, and completely stole my heart. If you enjoy romances that combine passion with heartfelt storytelling, you’ll definitely want to pick this one up!
Many thanks to NetGalley for providing me with the opportunity to read this ARC.
”I smile and kiss her, knowing that she’s the best leap of faith I’ve ever taken.”
Vicki’s books just keep getting better!! I loved Lincoln in her previous book and I was dying to read his story and I completely loved it, Violet and Lincoln were amazing together and the story is filled with laughter, drama and so much spice🥵
Lincoln and Violet’s relationship was wonderful from the beginning, he was cocky, charming and very dreamy. I loved his relationship with his family and how sweet he was with his siblings 🥹 Violet was amazing too, she was a badass and really good at her job, she always said what she wanted and her interactions with Lincoln were the best, they had a lot of funny scenes and I specially loved how Lincoln was always telling her how beautiful and brilliant she was.
Their chemistry was undeniable from the first time they met, they were always flirting and I knew it was a matter of time before all that tension between them exploded, besides their steamy scenes were really hot🔥. They only had 5 weeks before Lincoln had to go back to Scotland so they tried to spend a lot of their time together and I loved how he helped Violet relax and realize that not everything had to be about work. They only spent a few weeks together in LA but in that little time they shared a lot of things and their connection started growing very fast.
I also loved reading about the previous characters, especially reading about Knox, Eva and their crazy but amazing family. The book makes you laugh from the beginning and it got me hooked from the very first page.
Lincoln and Violet’s story was incredible and I can’t wait to read the next books about Lincoln’s friends.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
Lincoln is the first book in the Boys of Castleview Cove series, and the first book I have read by V.H. Nicolson. Whatever expectations I had when starting this book were greatly exceeded by this author. The story was well written and highly entertaining, with characters that were fun and quirky.
The chemistry between Lincoln and Violet was readily apparent from the start. While their first meeting was hilarious, the couple’s antics had me laughing out loud throughout the entire story. As the story unfolded, I quickly fell in love with Violet. Her grit and determination were admirable as well as inspiring.
This book would be perfect for fans of romantic comedy who want a fun, light-hearted read. While the conclusion of Lincoln and Violet’s story was strongly satisfying, it left me wanting more. I can’t wait to see what happens next with the boys of Castleview!
f you're a fan of Instagram-love, super heavy on the steam, no major drama, a third act break up leading to a HEA, youre going to love this because it has this and more. My main issue with it was that the FMCA, Violet, was so insecure, she needed constant reassurance from the MMC, Lincoln, that she was pretty and that he found her attractive. That was clearly unnecessary as they were going at each other every chance they got And the MMC kept calling her "Petal" which was kinda cringe but there were several family moments that balanced out the other issues. I liked getting to know Linc's family, and his background showed his weaknesses and I also loved his little nephews-they were adorable! My favorite part was probably picturing big hunky Lincoln walking tiny little PomPom the dog! This is the first book I'm this series and up next is a story focused on Lincoln's best friend Jacob and his girlfriend Skye. Thanks to Boldwood Books and NetGalley for this eArc in exchange for my review.
This was the best one in this whole series. Though Lincoln was an dumba**. He left without a word and she had to chase him down😤🙄 But the plot was really good and so sweet.
I think there was insta love and lust in this because they immediately fell for each other and became together so quickly. I loved it. ❤️ I wish there were more scenes from her sister and that drama but it was still okey when she didn’t have many scenes in this.
It also says this was an dark romance?? I did not think it was. Sure there was some mental health and abandonment in this but not much. It was emotional but nothing dark dark😕😊
I loved the side characters like Lincoln’s father and his whole family. Violet’s father was okey but he did not have much script time and I also heard he was also never there for her. He did not try to meet up with her and that.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Ok the Apple definitely doesn’t fall far from the tree with Lincoln and Knox, WOW! That man is everything you need and more. Intelligent, hard working 😉 looks like a Greek god and can dance like a Magic Mike dancer, sign me up!
After being forced to take some time out by Knox to explore the world as Knox feels like he has been holding his son back but in reality Lincoln loves working at the hotel and wouldn’t change it for anything, but he goes to appease his dad. On his final 6 weeks in Santa Monica he meets Violet and he has never met a woman like her before, she is beautiful (not that she knows it) curves in all the right places, and a driven workaholic, they are 2 peas in a pod. But with only 6 weeks together they try and keep their hearts protected after all neither of them have been in love before so it unlikely they will fall in 6 weeks right?
These 2 have my heart completely, Violet is funny clumsy and literally takes no prisoners in her working life, but she is not as confident as she seems. After relentless jabs from her sister her self confidence is shot, Lincoln notices this, in fact he notices everything about her he constantly picks her up puts her on a pedestal and makes her feel special and admired but Lincoln has his own hang up and fear of abandonment makes him do the unthinkable.
The family ties in this book are brilliant and so heartwarming it is at the centre of this story showing that an ‘unconventional’ blended family is beautiful and something to be cherished.
Arc review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Oh Lincoln!! You are just a dream😍
From the first few pages I was laughing so much. If he thinks it he says it he has no tact haha. He is funny and loveable with it (some aren’t) but he is just 🤣 He comes across as confident but soon his insecurities are coming to the surface. When he meets violet for the first time he doesn’t realise who she is and just says what he thinks (foot in mouth right there) He sharp realises he made a mistake and she makes sure he won’t forget her again. Violet is real and like some of us isn’t confident. She is feisty and also intelligent and focused. I just love her so much. Lincoln shows her she is amazing and beautiful. ( V H Nicholson certainly knows how to do feisty females as well as hot as hell males in her books) The sparks soon fly between these two 🔥🔥🔥 (holy hell the chemistry) but can it be short and sweet? I loved this story from start to finish, it has twists and turns I never saw coming . I couldn’t put it down.
the spice in this book, WOW! vicki did not hold back, this book is absolute fireeee.. literally, the prawns had me howling iykyk (could not stop laughing). i swooned over knox black in unexpected eva, and in this book you can also swoon over his son, lincoln black! this was such a easy read, i couldn’t put it down i was so gripped on violet and lincoln’s epic story. vicki’s writing gets better and better with each book, she literally blows me away with each release.
the epilogue! my heart was doing flips, the most perfect ending. so excited to read jacob’s book next!
Lincoln is book one from 'The Boys of Castleview Cove', and what a book it is.
We meet Lincoln in V's 'unexpected eva'. He is Knox Black's son, and he is swoon-worthy. I loved the little insight we got into him in unexpected Eva. However, you don't need to read that book to read this one.
Lincoln is travelling for six months and has made a promise to himself, no women. Although that is now becoming harder than he thought, especially when a gorgeous brunette is standing inside the gym he is working in holding a mop. he assumes she is the cleaner, who will be cleaning the gym ready for the new owner who is arriving tomorrow. They are a real ballbuster. Lincoln continues to run his mouth and thoroughly put his foot in it, as he should ask who people are before he talks.
Lincoln can't get the petite brunette out of his head, but he only has six weeks left in LA. So what's he going to do? Have you ever met someone who made you feel like your heart could skip a beat if you looked at them for long enough? Could you honestly walk away from someone like that? What will Lincoln do?
V has done a fantastic job at writing a-hell-of-a-swoon-worthy guy with Lincoln. The number of times I said 'aww' out loud whilst reading this book Is unreal.
I enjoyed the banter and trials that the characters went through.
