About the author

Nelson grew up in a small town in Northwest Arkansas, where he demonstrated a natural aptitude for athletics, particularly in basketball, during his high school and college years. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Central Arkansas in 2000. His passion for investing has guided him through various career paths, including banking, accounting, entrepreneurship, and most recently, insurance.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Nelson has a longstanding interest in horror films, mystery literature, and both comedic and dramatic television series. He currently resides in the Yucatán Peninsula, Mexico, with his wife Mindy and their numerous pets. In his leisure time, he enjoys watching movies, traveling, maintaining his fitness, writing, and following his beloved Arkansas Razorbacks. WOO PIG!
