Terry Johnson was born and raised in Los Angeles. He studied history at the University of Southern California and also studied at Trinity College, Bristol, England, and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, before earning his D. Min in 2008 from Erskine Theological Seminary.

A very helpful, readable, challenging and encouraging little book on the biblical and (Reformed Presbyterian) Christian understanding of marriage and family life. While I disagree with Johnson's paedobaptist covenantal view of Christian children (the Reformed Baptist covenantal position is far better and more truly biblical) this little volume still has much to help us.
