Used before I bought the audio CBT therapy program and found it very useful. It’s a print out of all the handouts you read in slow talk to yourself everyday until you learn and relearn the anti anxiety strategies to the ground.

Buying the online program has been the best thing I have done for my SAD. I’ve done CBT in person and yet Dr. Richards program has been a great refresher for my brain. I wish I’d started this while the Phoenix group was still active in person.

Nevertheless, it gave me access to a very supportive community, a zoom discussion group and behavioral therapy led by Mat who is a great human and is helping others overcome SAD like he did with daily persistency and consistency. He knows how to conduct groups like a licensed CBT therapist would as he has done the work. You meet others like him on the forum. Can’t believe I waited so long.

Came across Dr. Richards earlier in life and was skeptical at the time. Both the therapy program, the audio program, SAI community and the zoom groups for behavioral therapy exercises are highly recommended.

Never felt so connected to any therapist like I did listening to Dr. Richards even though I’ve never met him in person. Otherwise, I wouldn’t bother writing such a detailed review.

Only a therapist who has overcome SAD himself (like Dr. Richards ) would be able to create such a thorough program such as this. Great I don’t need to spend more $$$ for in person therapy anymore.

Great reference for Social Anxiety!

I'd recommend this book for anyone with social anxiety or fear of public speaking. It takes practice and commitment with the exercises, but the author has wonderful suggestions. I've suffered social anxiety for years and the exercises will be a great help.
