This is an interesting one. There are elements that I enjoy, that are interesting, while other things that are not quite It for me, not quite sure how to describe? But compelling enough to continue.

The illustrations are stunning by the way, shout out for that.

I found this much better than the first volume. A lot of great action happened, but the main thing that lifted the story was the protagonist gaining a friend that wasn't afraid to call her out and voice her own opinions, rather than just another "loyal subordinate" character
