Miss Taylor James... you truly gave us one of the most cutest little swoon worthy second chance small town romances I have ever read! It was seriously so cute!
If you know me, then you know I am a second chance romance lover. Now make t a second chance romance where they were together when they were younger and your girl gobbles that plot right up. And guess what? I gobbled this one up because they in fact were together when they were younger. In fact they had one whirlwind summer together before Tinsley left for Hollywood to chase her dreams as a singer. Now fast forward 10 years later and they are back together in the small town of Berry Falls.
If you love an MMC who is a walking green flag and a golden retriever then you will eat this one up. Archer was greener than green. This man literally waiting 10 years for Tinsley. If it wasn't her, he wasn't interested. He's been down bad since the moment he met her.
Now Tinsley, I will say, I was slightly worried about her being a popstar. I was afraid she would give off Taylor Swift vibes, which I can't stand but I am happy to report she does not. Our girl Tinsley is a world famous popstar and she has kind of lost who the true Tinsley is. After public humiliation from a publicity stunt boyfriend, I loved how she decided to reconnect with her true inner self and escaped to the one place that gives her true happiness... Berry Falls and Archer Hayes!
I truly have no notes or complaints with this one. The plot kept me intrigued. The characters were lovely. Their story was sweet. It made me giggle, kick my feet like a little school girl, blush and root for this relationship to find success. It was just once of those small town romances that is easy to read and will make you feel good.
Taylor, I love this small town romance era that you have entered and can not wait for the rest of the Hayes brothers to get their HEA!

Archer and Tinsley were the absolute cutest second chance romance I've read in a long while. I didn't love the 10 year separation BUT . . . Ms. James makes up for it because our MCs stayed celibate(!!!) and true to each other despite the distance and the drastically different paths their lives took. There is no denying these two are meant to be.
The prologue broke my heart but the reunion (not to mention that epilogue!!!), Tinsley making her way back home and reuniting with Archer, it was like no time had passed. These two were true soulmates and every conversation, every encounter shared between them just proved that without a doubt.
I laughed, I cried. I was so excited and giddy throughout this book. From start to finish I was hooked and couldn't get enough.
This is another great Taylor James book that I will proudly be displaying on my shelves because a love story like Superman's and Shortcakes, it one meant to be read and enjoyed again and again. I can't wait to explore more of Emerald Lake Ranch, the Hayes brothers (yes please!) and Brair.

This was a lovely read, really made for an enjoyable start to my weekend! I liked the premise of Tinsley, a famous singer, coming back to a small town where she had the biggest love of her life as an 18 year old 10 years prior with Archer, who lives there.
Tinsley and Archer are so cute together and their obsession with each other pulls you right into the story. It made me want to know more about them and how they got together. Their love is so sweet!! They’ve been thinking of each other forever and it shows.
I really felt for both of them, especially working through their anxieties about each other due to their past - even at the same time as they pour their devotion out each other. And then also having to tackle their lifestyle differences. They don’t catch a break but eventually they do get their HEA.
Tinsley’s friend/assistant, Briar, is a standout character and I really hope she has her own book and with a certain someone also in the book… ;) I absolutely can’t wait to read that dynamic 🤞🏻
Y’all this man Archer, he whimpered from just a kiss!! 🫦 🤌🏻🤌🏻 (and more later on..) So. Hot.
At times, I think maybe I needed a little more backstory of that summer that they fell for each other to make this more real for me. Or even maybe a bit more substance to their current connection. I just had moments of feeling like “you love each other this much based on what?” I think this is more of a me thing though.
That said, this was a warm, sweet romance that I absolutely enjoyed reading. Toward the end it got even more heartwarming and emotional. The characters are all distinctive and fun to read and you’ll get the warm fuzzies and automatic smiles going. Can’t forget all the heat with several open-door scenes either!
I can recommend this for a cute small town romance, especially if you like kind of insta-love vibes (not quite but along those lines), love lost due to circumstances with second chances, and a famous FMC.

Wow just wow! This had me invested from the first chapter. If you are like me and love a small town romance with a fabulous cast of side characters then you would adore Sunrise Arrows. Tinsley and Archer are everything! Their love for each other, their chemistry, their past and their journey to forever was so beautifully written. This story takes you on a wave of emotions especially with the flashback scenes and this story proves soulmates do exist. I simply loved this one and cannot wait for the next instalment in the Emerald Lake series.

Now she’s back in Berry Falls to get away from the bad press and chaos of her life in the spotlight. They have a second chance at love and are both determined not to let it fall apart this time, no matter what secrets are brought to light.
This was my first read by @taylorjames.author but it will definitely not be my last!
This book had me ALL in my feels. Both of these characters had been just shells of themselves for the last TEN years and now they were getting their second chance. Their love for each other was 🤌🤌🤌 All those years had passed, but all of their feelings were still as strong as ever. This book had banter, tension, family drama and SPICE. I binged it in one day. I loved the side characters! Briar was a riot!

I LOVED this book. Archer and Tinsley's story was so beautiful, and their love for each other could literally be felt through the pages. Their connection was so strong and wholesome from the very start.
The way Archer Hayes loves in a once in a lifetime kind of love that everyone searches a lifetime for. He was absolute perfection. I will accept no criticism on him. Ever. I love love love him.
Tinsley is probably one of my favorite FMC's. She lived with so much regret and hurt about what she did and believed, but she NEVER stopped loving him.
Their love for each other was so blindingly obvious from the beginning. They supported each other, calmed each other, and never stopped fighting to be with each other.
I'm not gonna lie.... I can't forgive Hunter 😬😬 TEN FREAKING years without your soulmate??? I couldn't imagine it. Hopefully, he has a redemption book cause he needs it.

this book honestly changed my life and I don't think anything I write will properly do it justice. the plot of this book was so interesting and unique to anything I have ever read. the author did such a good job to make you feel so immersed into the small town and all of the characters in sunrise arrows.
tinsley jacobs and archer hayes might be some of my favorite characters so they get an official list to my top 10 favorite fictional couples. they really said let me find somebody that matches my freak and they said okay bet. the mouth on both of them is quite insane.. whew.
tinsley jacobs, you beautiful soul. being a huge pop star, she battles the version of herself she is portraying to the world and who she really is when that persona is off. really loved being able to capture those two sides in an aesthetic I made. someone needs to publish her music because would actually die to hear her music. what her albums end up spelling out? CHANGED MY LIFE.
archer hayes, you obsessed and beautiful man. was rooting for him the entire time and there are no words to describe how much he loved tinsley. all he wanted was for her to be happy and if that meant without him, then so be it.

One thing about Taylor James…she always makes me fall in love with every single character she writes. The second I opened this book, I just knew Archer and Tinsley would have me swooning over them.
They were that perfect young love story, but life had other plans. Tinsley was dealing with some big changes and they ended up going their separate ways. But neither of them ever really moved on. So when Tinsley comes back to her hometown to escape the craziness of pop star life, her & Archer obviously reconnect. Their chemistry never missed a beat. Every scene with them together had me grinning like an idiot.
And don’t even get me started on the side characters. Briar is truly my spirit animal and the best friend Tinsley could have. She was hilarious & I cannot wait for her book. And one of the Hayes brothers? Yeah… I’m ready for his redemption arc. IYKYK👏

A new to me author, with a small town, second chance book, and I am glad I did not pass on this book! I was immediately hooked into Tinsley and Archer’s story.
These two have a history, and as Tinsley returns home after ten years, with some trepidation. She is now famous. They did not forget each other over the years, and their love is there. They have plenty to work on if they can make it a second time. I do love Blair, her assistant, and many of the other characters we meet along the way.
My only wish is that we got a little more of their backstory, because I have questions…
I will be following this author and reading more from her.

Thank you Taylor James for bringing us this heart warming Small Town Romance that really just captivated me from start to finish.
This is book 1 in the Emerald Lake series and starts off with the main characters making life altering decisions that send them on a heart breaking ten year journey, apart. Then as fate always has a way, their lives cross paths again. The pull and attraction all comes rushing back, but is it enough to endure and to fight for their second chance 💞
Have to say Tinsley and Archer melted my heart with every moment of regret, longing and their requited love.
I truly enjoyed Taylor’s writing as it pulled me in straight away and made it hard to put it down (but the late night reading was worth it). What I also loved was that Taylor did a great job of explaining the back history without constantly repeating it (loved that)! Meaning we learn how and why things happened the way it did, but the storyline allows the characters to grow in the present.
This is a refreshing take on a touching love story of lost loves, reclaimed love, personal growth and the power of forgiveness.

I was a little unsure about this book at first because I typically avoid second chances and “it’s always been you” tropes. However, after reading the blurb, I had a good feeling and decided to go for the ARC – and I’m so glad I did! I ended up falling in love with this book. Tinsley and Archer’s love story is just everything. It has the perfect mix of angst, pining, tension, and spice. Their chemistry is off the charts, and I was rooting for them from the very beginning!
Tinsley meets Archer one summer, and they quickly fall head over heels for each other. But being young—especially Tinsley, who has big dreams outside of the small town—leads her to make a tough decision. She leaves to chase her dreams and soon becomes a famous pop star touring around the world. Ten years later, she returns to Berry Falls, where Archer still lives.
Meanwhile, Archer hasn’t been able to move on. He knows Tinsley is his one true love, and for ten years, he waits for her. This story…wow. I’m not usually the biggest fan of pop/rock star romance but add in a cowboy and I’m all for it. Tinsley and Archer are an adorable couple - from the few flashbacks to how they immediately mesh together again after 10 years apart. I really like Archer - he’s an absolute simp for his girl and the way he worships her is truly so sweet. I really enjoyed the side characters as well…and if Briar and Hunter don’t get an enemies to lovers book I’m gonna lose my mind! I think the book followed very well - Taylor did a fantastic job laying the groundwork for an incredible little world on Berry Falls. Her character development is wonderful as well. I cannot thank her enough for letting me be a part of her ARC team! I know this is a little late, but Archer and Tinsley’s story released on April 24th. Get your copy now!!

Wow just perfect !!
This had me hooked from the first page. The chemistry, their connection. Everything was written so perfectly. This takes you on an emotional wave, with flashbacks scenes and showing you soulmates really exist.
Tinsely and Archer are just everything. The chemistry, thier love for each other and over becoming their past. The journey to happily ever after was beautifully done.

- The first time she meets his niece she thinks it’s his daughter, and she thinks this for a couple days before this get sorted out
- H twin brother ex girlfriend kissed the H 9 years ago and the h had then gone back to town to talk to H, she saw this, and the twin said he had moved on (he was pissed at her for leaving and the things the papers said about her and other men) - she never contacted him again
- H went on a couple of first dates a couple of years after they broke up, but he couldn’t feel anything for them bc he still loved the h, so he stopped.
Only thing that bothered me was that the H never went after her and that if h hadn’t gone back to the small town (in hopes of running into him), they probably never would have reunited.

This was absolutely beautifully written and I loved every single moment of Tinsley & Archer! Their connection is unlike any other and it was from the moment they first met ten years ago. Getting glimpses of their past memories and seeing them so in love with each other had my heart so full. Their story is so sweet and wholesome, but it's not without some heartbreak. I devoured this book in one sitting and I would re-read it again in a heartbeat!

Tinsley and Archer had an instant connection when they met ten years ago. They shared all of their first experiences together. Tinsley ends up leaving to pursue her music career and ends up becoming a pop superstar. She comes back to Berry Falls, and sparks ignite immediately. The love they shared still shines as bright as it did ten years ago .
I loved Tinsley and Archer’s love story. Taylor’s writing gives you all the feels, and she didn’t shy away with this one. The feeling you get with Archer and Tinsley’s longing and the deep connection was heart-wrenching. Then the hope that filled you when they reconnected was blissful. This couple were opposites. He’s sweet, possessive, a little awkward in a nerdy way, and hot. Yes…y’all, he has glasses!!! Let’s not discount his filthy mouth. All in all, it was a great love story. I enjoyed this book, and I’m excited for the next one.

This has good spice that fits the book well between these characters. Not too spicy. Archer and Tinsley’s relationship journey was such a beautiful one. The love these two had for each other was just one of those top tier loves. Taylor wrote it so well that you could feel it coming right out of the book. I don’t want to give away too much with my review but be ready for this ride. Tinsley is such a favorite FMC of mine now and I’m so glad she went to find her happiness again. Archer I’ll forever love. This book I so recommend adding to the tbr!

What can you say about a book that's just so wonderful? A story that is just a dream. An MMC who is just so extremely swoon-worthy that you can't stop swooning. Archer is indescribable, except your name is Taylor James 🤣
Even though I love second chance romance, I always hate them at the same time. It's always so sad to read how much time the MCs lost because of circumstances 😭 Ten years is SOOOO long 😱 But of course, I love that they get together in the end. That's no spoiler because it's a romance, they always have a HEA 😁
It's not just the chemistry between Tinsley and Archer, it's everything between them. This undeniable love. Love at first sight 🥰 It's just so cute.
This book is 🔥 (not just because of Archer's 🔥ness, but yes, it has a huge influence 🤣
This book is funny. And a huge reason for that is Briar (Tinsley's best friend and manager) and Hunter (Archer's twin brother). These two hate each other so much, but the bickering is so perfect. I hope SOOOOOO much that they will get a book. Not each a book, one for them together 😉 And yes, I can understand why Briar hates Hunter. And I'm completely with her here 🤬

Taylor James is in her small town era and I'm here for it! I loved Sunrise Arrows and getting to know Berry Falls! Small town romances are my kryptonite and this is one of my new favorites!
Ten summers ago, Tinsley and Archer became each other's everything but they were both young. Tinsley had big dreams and was headed to LA. She went on to become a big pop star but the fame has become a bit too much and she needs a break.
She decides to visit Berry Falls but she knows she will have to face her past. However, when she comes face to face with Archer again, it's almost as no time has passed. Feelings that were pushed down, come to surface and it's evident that these two were meant to be.
Archer and Tinsley's love story is messy but it was theirs. I loved watching them fall back in love with each other. The past ten years has definitely done a number on both of them. But you could feel the yearning the both of them had through the pages. Once they gave in...it was HOT. I also enjoyed the character development between them as well.
Taylor did an amazing job making you not only fall in love with the main characters but the secondary characters as well! I loved the Hayes brothers and their banter was top notch! I hope we see them again!

So in love with this story. Tinsley and Archer are totally perfect. It was beautifully written and gave me all the Notebook vibes I didn’t know I needed and craved!!
This book had a little bit of everything all wrapped up in a pretty bow. It gave me small town romance, second chance romance, a cowboy who can talk filthy, and a girl boss best friend who knows how to get sh*t done. LOVED!!

This second chance romance was done EXACTLY how I want them! I can be pretty ambivalent about second chance books but when it includes a certain trope 🤭, I👏🏼AM👏🏼ALL👏🏼IN!! Archer and Tinsley have been apart for 10 years but OMG the longterm pining for each of them was perfection. I was just a ball of bursting emotions the whole time I was reading! I can’t eqven explain how much I love this book and Archer! This man has my whole heart, about him was perfect and I will accept no arguments. These two were so damn hot together! They both have dirty mouths and hold nothing back with each other.
I loved Briar! What duo of badass boss bitch babes her and Tinsley are. I want Ellie to be my niece or wish that Tinsley was my new aunt! And OMG, the hints at what may come with this serious has me so freaking excited!!!

What I like about Taylor James is her characters are always vulnerable. She doesn’t tend to write third act breakups, at least in the two books that she’s put out so far. And that she always makes me feel a range of emotions while reading her books.
Sunrise arrows is a second chance romance, in which our FMC was 18 when she fell madly in love with our MMC. They do have an age gap of about three years. They mean by chance when she’s visiting that town for the summer. But she also has big dreams and wants to be a singer. And a popstar she will be!
10 years later, she comes home and that’s basically where our story begins I know so far from reading the two books that Tayler James has put out that if I want something sweet, where the characters are desperate for one another and there’s no third act break up that she’s the writer I’m going to turn to. This is the first book in Taylor James’ small town series based at Emerald Lake Ranch. This book was so sweet, honestly I think my teeth hurt!
After a summer together 10 years ago, Tinsley has returned home and it’s like no time has passed between her and Archer - her first love and first everything. It felt Iike they picked up right where they left off. They were all in, just so far gone for each other. It was really, really sweet. The soft moments and wee gestures between them were everything! They were also so supportive of each other! They pushed each other out of their comfort zones and it showed that they would do anything to be with each other.

I also really loved her relationship with her bestie, Briar. Hunter, you’re a dick but I’ll stick with you and hope someone (hopefully Briar) brings you to your knees!
I do personally prefer higher stakes and a little more tension and angst, especially in a second chance romance. I would have loved a little more depth to their connection, they were basing a lot on a summer fling when they were young. That being said, this was a super sweet story that I did absolutely devour in less than a day.
I am definitely looking forward to the rest of this series, and seeing more of Archer and Tinsley!

After a summer together 10 years ago, Tinsley has returned home and it’s like no time has passed between her and Archer - her first love and first everything. It felt Iike they picked up right where they left off. They were all in, just so far gone for each other. It was really, really sweet. The soft moments and wee gestures between them were everything! They were also so supportive of each other! They pushed each other out of their comfort zones and it showed that they would do anything to be with each other.

I LOVED everything about this book! Small town romance, second chance, and throw in the MMC wears glasses?? I’m done for!

Their love story was so beautiful! Archer is a man obsessed (as he should be!). He waits 10 years for Tinsley and doesn’t hesitate to show her how much he loves her. Tinsley is a pop star that never got over her first and only love. She turned their love story into album after album. I loved how she helped Archer calm his anxiety and she knew just what he needed.
I fell in love with Berry Falls and I can’t wait to go back and see what’s next!

I will always be a sucker for second chance romances. They have the *best* angst. This story is no exception. It has it all - horses, a fabulous best friend, an adorable 8 year old, a world famous musician, found family…it takes a bunch of the tropes from this genre and twists them into new shapes.
I truly loved reading about Archer and Tinsley. Their story is about deep love that returns to each other, despite the obstacles. The book is sad, funny, sweet and entertaining…and also spicy. The door is most definitely open - probably wedged that way with a door stopper. You will not regret adding this book to your TBR.
