VIP #2

The Madam

Rate this book
Some people need love…

I need sex, money, control, and power.

Anyone could have those four things, but only one could have VIP. Becoming Madam was never a choice for me, it was a mandated order from the most powerful woman I knew- my mother. I was born to fill her shoes, never to make mistakes, or to show weakness.

You are the product of your environment. They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree; you learn from what you see, not from what you're told. Nature vs. Nurture. I learned from it all; what I saw, what I didn't see, what I was told, and from reading between the lines.

I was raised with the belief that the world spun ONLY because of me. I held power as far back as I can remember, saw things no one ever talks about, and witnessed illegal acts of sex, drugs, and money by the time I was eighteen.

You saw a glimpse of me in VIP, now see it from the beginning. Enter my world where anything goes; no judgments, no remorse, no guilt. You play by my rules, or you don’t play at all. There are no limits to what I can do, or to what I can show you…I will ensure my legacy by any means necessary.

My name is Lilith Veronica Stone, and I am The Madam.

Warning: Book contains adult situations.

5 bow down to The Madam stars

Caution before reading: Check all your inhibitions, judgments, assumptions, values, and beliefs at the door.

The Madam is unlike any other, brilliantly ruthless, sensually sexual, powerful and in control. We first met The Madam in Ysabelle’s story VIP, and along with Ysabelle, we wondered,
“What happened to you? What happened to make you this way?”

The Madam took pity on us and shared her story. I don't think it was ever a question of what happened or who made The Madam, someone like her can't be made, evolve, yes, but not made. Similar to all VIP's, she wasn't made...she was born this way.

On June 6, 1960, The Madam was born into a legacy that when she has proven herself, she would claim and call her own. We follow her story from the very beginning, highlighting major points in her life to understand the lady we see before us. Born with the luxuries we have only ever dreamed of, there was never any need to be left wanting, having everything she ever wanted in the palm of her hands.

Growing up she found herself consumed by lust and greed, surpassing everything her mother, her Madam, ever wanted for her. The thing is although she was trained by the best, she had her own tricks up her sleeve, and having that much power flaunted in your face your entire life only makes you want it more. It was only a matter of time before the student became the teacher. See there could only be one Madam, and it is up to her to take what is rightfully hers, no matter the consequence.

Taking VIP to the level of success that it has reached, all comes down to The Madam, she is the one in charge of everyone and everything. She owns her VIP’s; mind, body and soul, showing them the power they hold in-between their legs. Pleasure and money beyond their wildest dreams, owning the room as they walk in, owing their allegiance, loyalty and love to the one and only Madam.

“I want to fuck you in order to teach you.” I kissed the center of her neck.

“I want to fuck you to please you.” I kissed the right side.

“ I want to fuck you to taste you.” I whispered in her ear,

“More than anything, I want to fuck you…to make you.”

The Madam lives her life by her own rules, having learned early on, there is only one person you can trust and that is yourself. She didn’t get to where she is without crossing some lines, but to get what you want there are no limits to the things you will do, no matter who you burn along the way. There was only one man who dared get close to her but they always played by her rules, nothing more nothing less, taking pleasure where she sees fit...
I know what you’re thinking…you hate me don’t you? It all right, I didn’t write this for you to love me. I don’t care if you love me. I don’t care if you hate me.

How could I not love this book and it wasn’t even about love; it was erotic, shocking and ruthless. If I had an alter ego, I would like to think I would be like The Madam, no inhibitions, no wrong or right, just doing what she wants to do without putting a label on it. If it feels good, than it is good, simple and easy. Told from Madam’s point of view, re-living the years and important moments that shaped her into the woman she is today. This book does contain erotic sex with various partners, MF, FMF, MFM and FF; utterly delicious from beginning to end.

This book had my feelings all over the place, and while you feel for her as the little girl, the one who was born into this lifestyle, she'd slap you for showing her pity because there is no other life she would rather live. If you are unable to leave your beliefs and values behind, than you won’t be able to accept this book for what it is, keep an open mind, understand there are things the happen that are “wrong” in your world, but had no label in Madam’s. Who are we to judge how she was raised, what she was forced to do and the choices she’s made. It is what it is and she is who she is, you cannot regret the past and live in worry or fear of all your actions, you can only continue to move forward and live your life.

Similar to VIP, I was once again stressing out towards the last pages of this book, wanting an ending so much but at the same time excited that there will be more to come. It was an unexpected ending, so many things left unsaid, so many things left open, the possibilities endless. I can’t wait for MVP and see what the next journey holds for us. This was another amazing addition to the VIP series, a series that is unlike any other.

“Darling, I don’t fit the part, the part fits me” -Madam

Madam gives every alpha male out here in book world a run for their money. You want to measure cocks? Hers is BIGGER! There is no one like her. SHE IS A BEAST! *Grins* An unstoppable, non negotiable BEAST.

What readers know after reading VIP:
She’s bad and she knows it.
She’s unapologetic and she knows it.
She’s confidant and she shows it in EVERY move she makes.

 photo THEMADAMFINALPIC1_zps1818919e.jpg

‘For you to understand my life you need to live it. I don’t know if reading about it will do it justice, nonetheless, I am going to try. There are always three sides to every story, yours, mine, and the truth. I deserve a chance to explain myself. Love me or hate me, it’s who the fuck I am. Madam.’

In this supremely character driven story we watch Lilith Stone go from childhood in to adulthood as the truth of who she will one day become is made clear to her early on in her youth. Not only was she going to be a VIP, she is also to be the Madam. Even as a child Lilith never misses a beat, she takes it all in. The lifestyle...but mostly the power...she becomes enraptured by it in her teens. Learning from the best, her very own mother Vivian Stone at the time better known as The Madam.

I would let her train me, mold me, and teach me everything I needed to know.
But...I would never be like her.
I would be better.

M. Robinson tackles important pieces from each decade as Lilith grows and eventually becomes The Madam.

I think readers are use to seeing males as the dominant, controlling, sadistically cold hearted bastards. Well, Madam is a dominant, controlling, sadistically cold hearted bitch. So be prepared. She is calculated and she does nothing by mistake it’s always part of a bigger plan. She will scheme and manipulate until she gets what she wants.

By the end of the book tails will wag. I’m like a bitch in heat I need my next fix. I NEED-WANT-MUST-HAVE BOOK 3!

My head is still spinning. This book is TOTALLY different from VIP in many, many ways..Where as VIP had a slow crawl to the story line filled with anticipation for worlds to collide, and some very hot sex scenes, giving us dual pov’s with one very conflicted character(Seb) while the other was assertive and strong willed(Ysa). The Madam was the opposite; its fast paced, with only Lilith’s pov and boy is it one HELL of a pov, she is very ambitious, and on top of that there is a high sexual charge that permeated throughout the entire book.

My sweet and Sour
My Sweet- Mika! All things Mika!
My Sour- The ending, I need the next book NOW!

Important questions (ONLY READ THESE IF YOU READ THE BOOK)

My Thoughts
The Madam starts and ends with a BANG! I don’t think anyone is ready for Madam. That chick is a problem and I figured that out in VIP but it was made abundantly clear once I read the Prologue for Madam. People are going to love Madam and hate her and then hate her some more, it’s that kind of book.

My Rating and Why
This book took 5 STARS from me. Yup, it snatched each star right out of my grubby hands. Has that EVER happened to you? I gladly allowed each star to leave my grasp of course.

The Madam is a character driven story fueled with twists and unexpected turns. Each page had me spellbound and eager to know what would happen next. The writing was excellent and the story telling was beyond intriguing. Do I sound a bit bias? You bet your ass I am but it does not matter. Why? The proof is in the pudding! READ THE BOOK!

My Ratings
Characters- Ambitious, egotistical and sadistic and yes, I’m referring to Madam
Writing Style- Excellent, my preferred cup of tea
Plot/Storyline- Young girl grows up to be a Madam, which is her birth right
Steam Factor- High/Very Steamy on a scale of 1-10 I say 10+++
Entertainment Level- From Lo-Med-Hi I say High I was glued to the book from beginning to end
Overall- I LOVED IT!!!!! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Now go forth and read. Then come tell us about it on Goodreads!

"Some people need love...I need sex, money, power, and control."

The Madam is fierce, unapologetic, strong and BALLSY. She is not a person you want to cross or someone whose bad graces you want to find yourself in. BUT her story did make for one hell of a crazy, sensual, messed up, disturbingly fascinating and - without a doubt - ENTERTAINING ride filled with lot so sex, drugs and rock and roll.

I will admit The Madam is nothing like the first book in this series VIP, but that doesn't mean it was any less impressive or memorable, on the contrary. While VIP was the slow burning romance story of Ysa and Sebastian, The Madam was more of a one-woman-show. In which, of course, Madam stole the show.

"I am not an evil woman, but I want what I want, when I want it."

Starting with when she was just a little girl, we follow the story of how Lilith was trained from an early age by her mother to become a VIP and later on take over the gavel of running the business as The Madam. Her childhood wasn't a pleasant one, at least not from most people's POV, but to her it was all she knew. Her entire world revolved around VIP, from sunrise to sunset VIP is what kept her busy. She's a ruthless businesswoman who has no time or need for silly, vapid things such as love and romance. Although...what she had with Mika (whose character I LOVED btw) was the closest thing that came to love. Still, don't expect there to be a happily ever after in Madam's future... Normally I'm the kind of person that craves a happy ending, but in The Madam and the world of VIP it somehow made perfect sense for the story to end the way it did.

We already met The Madam in the first book of the series and to be honest, I wasn't such a fan of her then. She was always brutally honest, which I admired, and mercilessly mean, which I kind of hated her for. But I have to say, reading her entire back story made me understand why she became the person she is today much clearer. Her upbringing and her mother played a huge part in making her so detached and closed off from her emotions. I have never come across anyone like her and I've certainly never read an entire book about a character like Lilith/Madam so it was very refreshing and interesting to read her POV and the author has done an incredible job at giving us an uninvited view of life as a VIP in the vibrant city of Miami.

"It was my one true love. VIP was my beginning, my middle, and my end."

After VIP, I think we all wanted more Ysa and Sebastian and I still do...but The Madam truly deserved a story all on her own. She's such a fascinating character. The kind of person you would loathe in real life but who's cleverness and unapologetic determinacy you'd admire from the sidelines. She's the kind of person you love to have and hate to love. Throughout the story I kind of had a love/hate relationship with her, but in the end you have to applaud her for being such a brilliant puppet master and powerful ruler of a billion dollar company.

If the series has piqued your interest, I would highly recommend giving both books a try. And if you're going to read The Madam, be prepared for a wild, hot as hell read in which inhibitions have no place.

Now, for the ending...

...the epilogue took me completely off guard! The story started out with a bang and it ended with one too. Those final pages added a whole new dimension to the series as a whole and made me *very* anxious to get my hands on the next book so I'll be (not so) patiently awaiting the release of MVP from now on. ;)

I was a little hesitant to read this book, because I loathed the Madam in VIP. Since VIP ended on such a positive note, I was hoping that the follow-up in the series would continue with the relationship between Ysabelle and Sebastian. I was initially disappointed when I saw that book 2 did not pick up where VIP left off. I got over that quickly!

This book goes back in time to tell the story of the Madam, beginning when she was a young child and ending a short while after the point where VIP left off. Told from Madam's perspective, the book provides many insights into her feelings and experiences that were not revealed in book 1. She's no angel, by any means. Yet, as much as I still detest the woman she grew into, and many of the actions she took, I'd be blind not to see that she had suffered as well. Many of the events that she set in motion were unconscionable, but in her own screwed up way, I believe that she thought she was doing what was best.

To say that her relationship with her own mother was strained would be putting it mildly. Her mother, the Madam at the time, was as callous and cold as you could imagine. There was nothing nurturing or motherly about that witch.

Watching her mature and experience extreme highs and lows, heartache, passion and love, it was easy to see why she was who she was in VIP. She definitely seems to live by the motto of "go big or go home" in all aspects of her life. Love her or hate her, she makes an impression!

The story of her ongoing love affair with a client, spanning decades, was emotional and definitely sexy. It also showed her more vulnerable, human side. Yes, even the ice queen has feelings down deep.

As she grew older and more jaded, she became the very woman that she detested. In this case, the apple definitely didn't fall far from the tree. I don't want to spoil anything, so I won't go into this, but trust me. The extent of the Madame's involvement in Ysabelle's life is not revealed until late in the book and is shocking.

I am dying to see if history will repeat yet again. I will be reading the next book ASAP!

Move over "50 Shades of Grey" and make room for "The Madam" this book was panty wetting hot!!

"From the moment you were born, you were mean't for greater things, things that the average person will never be able to achieve. A lifestyle made only for a "VIP"

If you thought "VIP" was the best book you have read in 2013 you are in for a treat with "The Madam" you can not compare, this just blew VIP out the window!!

"VIP" stands for Very Important Pussy, Pussy should be a word that is celebrated! It could have several meanings, but the bottom line is, pussy is mean't to be shared. Sharing is caring darling," she explained.
"I own VIP, which means, I own pussy, since I own it, I cherish it, and I provide for it."

I "LOVED" everything about this book, and yes I admit it I even loved Lilith Veronica Stone AKA Madam, you finally get to see what makes this woman tick, what made her the way she was in book 1..I fucking hated her in Book 1 but ask me that after reading this and I love her, I understand her now and what molded her into the woman she became..

On Tuesday, June 6th 1978 Lilith turned 18 that's when she officially became a VIP and at the age of 26 with the world at her fingertips she was no longer Lilith she was "The Madam"

The madam..Does..Not..Show..Weakness..EVER!!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Lilith aka The Madam was powerful, envied, feared and loved, some people needed love, she needed/craved sex, money, power and control.

"The real truth behind The Madam, is that I needed a goddamn prodigy. Someone to take the reins when I was done and I wouldn't hand it down to anyone that didn't have my blood in them."

But fucking hell that ending killed me!! I did not expect that!! But it all makes sense!!

WOW!!!The Madame has rendered me speechless...

It's been a few days since I've read this book and I'm still thinking about it, I can't get away from the Madame, I'm obsessed and shocked by her story. When you read this book be ready to leave your inhibitions at the door, to forget about what's right or wrong, The Madame will own you and haunt you and there's nothing you can do but play by her rules, love her or hate her, she doesn't care, she takes what she wants, and doesn't apologize for it.

We met The Madame in the previous book VIP, as the mastermind behind her powerful kingdom were women rule with their bodies and beauty. I was completely mesmerized by her and I wanted to know more. In this book we sit down with her as she narrates her life since childhood, she's not holding anything back and we will learn, her deepest secrets and the reasons behind her dominant persona.

 photo imagejpg1_zps76a2a89f.jpg

She's learned to be The Madame from the very best, her mother. She was shaped to be who she is from birth, but her intense craving for power is in her blood and Lilith V. Stone will take over VIP and the world, no matter who and what she has to step over, nothing can stop her. Over the years Lilith will come to learn that even for her, who's had it all, life can be painful but she's not allow to show weakness and you can't help but feel for her as we discover how tough it was to grow up under the watchful eye of her ruthless mother. As the years go by she works hard and plays even harder and there's always a key player in her world, the sexy Mika. No matter what, who or how much time passes by, these two always go back to each other, their sexcapades are panty melting, more intense each time, no rules, anything goes, and pure pleasure, but is hard to be that compatible with someone and to keep things uncomplicated, perhaps Mika was The Madame's only weakness, but she won't show him that, ever, she hates him for it, because he's the only one who can dominate her but even in those moments it was always under her own terms.

We get to relive some of the important events that happened in VIP with Ysa and Sebastian but from the Madame's POV, which was interesting and yet very disturbing and I can almost guaranteed that you will cringe, and your mouth will drop more than once, but you will love it and crave even more. All the characters in this story are enigmatic and alluring and you will find yourself hostage of a world of sex, luxury and no restrictions, reign by a badass woman who is the master puppeteer who plays to always win.

I was once again blown away by M. Robinson writing style, she wrote a book that was of course cohesive with the series while being completely different from the first book, The Madame is a book on it's own league, another level of erotism and entertainment . This author is a master story teller and you might love or hate her books but one thing is for sure you won't be able to stop thinking about it for days, The Madame will truly take over your mind. I really can't wait to see how this story will continue to unfold, in the mind time I'll be desperately waiting for book three MVP.

“I don’t depend on anyone other than myself, because at the end of the day that’s all I have. I rely on no one and that’s what makes me incredible at what I do. I live in a man’s world and I fucking own it. Women rule this world and the only reason we let men believe they do is because they lead with their cocks. Our pussies hold the power. We give life and are the only thing organism in this world that can bleed for seven days and not fucking die.”

TheMadam_2

If you thought VIP was scandalous, let me tell you The Madam brought a whole new level of scandals, sexiness, and in your face raw intensity. Say what you want about The Madam...call her a bitch, whore, or whatever evil nasty thing you can say about her but Lilith Veronica Stone aka Madam is a woman you LOVED to HATE. Personally, there was nothing to hate about the Madam. I absolutely fucking love her. She was raw, honest, and owned her sexuality. She did not make excuses but got things done even if it means she has to fuck a man or woman to get her way. She was born into VIP and till her last breath she will fight and live for VIP. And so The Madam chronicles the rise of Lilith Stone, the Madam.

 photo TheMadam_zpsa1639ccb.jpg
“I cried for everything….
For my past…
For my present…
And most of all.
For my future……”

Lilith Stone was born into VIP and she knew the moment she was born VIP was hers and it was up to her to crawl, fight, backstab, and make VIP hers. She craved power, sex, and money. The moment Lilith became Madam, she made VIP her empire. One thing, she learned from her mother, the former madam was to never show weakness. There is no room for weakness and love in VIP.

TheMadam_1

I don’t do love. I don’t know how to handle it, but it changed the day I took over. I love VIP. It was the first time that I ever felt something for someone else. It wasn’t just about me anymore; it was about everything and anything it encompassed. My life had always been about VIP. It was my one true love. VIP was my beginning, my middle, and my end.”

M. Robinson...I absolutely love The Madam. This book knocks VIP off its pedestal and I craved and wanted more of the Madam. The craziness, sexiness and whirlwind rollercoaster of WTFs makes this book stand out. M. Robinson will have you glued to your kindle and having you asking did that really happened. The sheer raw honesty of the Madam was the major driving force why I LOVED this book. She’s a bitch you hate to love but at the same time, you fucking admired her for brilliance and can’t resist her charm, sexuality, and cunning power. If Madam craved power, sex, and money, M. Robinson will have you begging and craving more of the Madam. I did not want this book to end, I loved being in the Madam’s head. I loved how M. Robinson allowed readers to get a glimpse of the woman who made VIP from her childhood, adolescence, and to her being a madam. I know readers wanted to know more about Ysa and Sebastian, I personally wanted to know more about the Madam and Mika. They gave Ysa and Sebastian a run for their money when it came to raw sexual chemistry.

TheMadam_3

All I can say, go read The Madam...it will take you on a crazy rollercoaster ride and will have you begging M. Robinson for more of The Madam, Mika, and Brooke. Oh and if you are looking for a HEA, why?? The pure brilliance of M. Robinson’s books is that she keeps readers on their toes and guessing.

***3.5 Stars***

M. Robinson knows her way around righting an intriguing erotic romance. After I finished VIP I was really interested in how exactly Lilith became The Madam. I couldn’t wait to sink my claws into this novel!

About The Madam:

Lilith was raised on promiscuity at a young age it was ‘drilled’ into her the effects a woman can have on a man’s body. She was raised to harness that power and hold it over men. She was raised to fill the roll of her mother. The original Madam.

My Thoughts:

I’m going into this review as spoiler free as I can. Trust me when I say, this book should be experienced fully with blinders on.

Wow! I was expecting the unexpected and this book still caught me off guard! I was expecting a novel packed full of steamy sexy times and lust. But what I wasn’t expecting was the many emotions that were pulled out of me. LIlith definitely had a harsh and trying life. No wonder she has a steel cage around her heart.

In VIP I loved the fact that Lilith was so independent and feisty. I couldn’t wait for this book. I was intrigued. I have to say, The Madam showed many different sides to lilith. My favorite side to her was the emotional side. I loved the fragile truth that came from these moments. My heart broke for her.

I rated this novel a 3.5 star rating because I found the premise of the novel to be a bit predictable. It’s very hard to pull the rug out from under my feet where surprises are concerned. I’m always trying to crack the case as I read. I mapped this novel from the start. I predicted the ending right away…..and I was right…. What can I say, I’m good at putting the puzzle pieces together.

Overall, I enjoyed The Madam. I found this tale to be emotional but also sexy as hell! Just as a warning, If you don’t like loads of sex in the novels you read, this may not be the right one for you. If you love tons of sexy times, heat, and a huge lust factor with a few emotional scenes ...then what are you waiting for!!? Dive in!

I was anxiously awaiting the story of the Madam! I LOVED VIP and could not WAIT to find out what made Lilith into The Madam of VIP. Her story was even better than I was hoping for! She was the ultimate, self-proclaimed, puppet master.

There prologue to MVP was at the end of the book SCORE!!!!! Can't wait for that book!

We get to know more about “Madam” in this second book of the trilogy. She is one tough lady and you need to read this book to understand the first book and hopefully the next one. Very erotic, sometimes cruel, heartless, brutal etc, but highly addictive. Loved it. Moving on to the next book.

When I first found out about VIP 2, I secretly wished the book would be about Madam because she was mysterious and intriguingly bold bitch or even Brooke. The Madam was someone you’d love to hate. Then when I found out it is about her, I was so…

Before reading it, I assumed Lilith had a hard life growing up in unloved, poor, abusive environment (like Ysa did), but I’m glad that all shattered from Chapter 1.

For a while, I thought my mother’s favorite phrase was “you’re fired”, she was the Donald fucking Trump of the Upper East Side

Lilith was brought up in a strict, controlled environment with the best of everything. She was groomed to take over the business from the moment she was born. But if you expect it to be all pink sky and unicorns, boy you’re reading the wrong goddamn book.

I love her in the beginning before she got sucked into the VIP world. Then once she gain confidence and had a taste of power, I hated the way she treated her mother (even though she was a damn bitch!) and father. It was cold and ruthless. But I also like that deep down she did have a heart.

I adore Mika. I like him since the beginning since he was one of the few people (other than her dad) who cared about Lilith the woman, not the Madam. They were both worried about her changing into and that exactly what happened. It was also a nice touch to have her and Mika played like this:

…because it showed her vulnerability.

I also like that Brooke was in the story. We knew she was Madam’s favorite in book 1, so I wondered how and why.

And Ysabelle… I wouldn’t have thought The . And what happened to was Madam’s fault! She had been planning Ysa’s life path since then. Up to that point, I love Lilith as a strong woman who grabbed what she wanted, but since that I can’t decide if I hate her. I mean, what she did was low, but she did gave Ysa a better future and the chance to meet Sebastian.

When Ysabelle left VIP in book 1, I was happy that she decided to chart her own course in life. But as we know, what Madam wanted, Madam got. I admire Lilith tenacity, but I’ve made my decision that I hate her because of what she did in the epilogue.

The good thing is, it made me want to read the third book. I’m really curious of what’s going to happen to Ysabelle and Sebastian. And I really hope to see where Madam and Mika’s relationship heading to.

Overall, even though this book had less rawness and grittiness that made me fell in love with previous book, I still love it. Looking forward to MVP.

4 stars

M. Robinson is definitely a brilliant storyteller. This story is dark, twisted, dirty, erotic, fierce, manipulative, and scandalous. To say I was glued to the pages, with all the twists and turns, is a massive understatement.

The heroine, who is also the villain, does not pull any punches. She did some things that made me seriously hate her and want to rip her hair out. And one thing is for sure, do NOT mess with THE MADAM; she will f@ck you up.

The VIP series is truly amazing. It's nothing like I've read before. Although this series is not for everyone I do highly recommend it, especially if you like dark and twisted and dirty sex scenes. I know I do!

Why only 4 stars? I loved the first 75% of the book, which does deserve 5 stars. HOWEVER, the ending was basically a repeat of the first book, but in a different POV, and it felt redundant. Although to be fair, it probably didn't help that I read VIP and THE MADAM back to back either. So, I only took one star off the rating.

Happy Reading!

I don't think it's made me like Madam any less reading this book. I can see now why she's the way she is but it doesn't help when she doesn't do good from her bad experience.

We first meet Madam in VIP, but in The Madam we get to read how her rise to power unfolds. The lengths she went to claim the power, control and money she knew she was born to have.

Much like VIP, The Madam begins at the beginning. A very young Lilith is conditioned to be exceptional from the minute she was born. VIP was her birthright, a legacy passed down one generation after the next. As she grows up she starts to realize that the desire to fill her mother's shoes grows and she begins to fall in love with the idea of the money and the power and is ready to do whatever it takes to take what is rightfully hers.

Growing up with every desire and need met came at a price though. Lilith is taught some very hard lessons early in life at the hands of her mother, lessons that broke her and taught her to be the woman she is today. As the story spans from early childhood to present day (just a tad bit beyond where VIP ended) we see just how manipulative The Madam truly is.

Screenshot_3

I am sort of, just a little bit blown away. This book was completely unexpected and 100% unpredictable. I loved being inside her head and I battled between loving her and hating her at every turn. There were so many intricate details that wove this story and VIP together that worked perfectly. Not many authors can give you two parts of a series and still leave you completely unsure as to how anything will turn out. All hope that I had is placed on hold until October when we get MVP.

Mika. Fuck me sideways did I love this man. I loved the way these two interacted throughout the entire story and loved their fractured love story. It might not have been a commitment or monogamous, but it was love - in their own screwed up way. The only way a man who pays for sex and the woman who sells it can truly love each other.

Beyond a fantastic story line that is not just a recycled story wrapped up with a new cover... this book balanced sex and story perfectly. There was a lot of sex, but at no point did I get that feeling like I needed to skim over to get back to the story. These scenes were placed in perfect places and always aided the story in moving forward. Sham-wow panties are needed desperately for this read. Ladies, have your husbands, boyfriends, pool boys... fuck, a stranger on stand by for when you are finished with this read.

This story has captured my attention is holding it steady. If you are looking for an erotic read that stretches your morals and blurs the line between right & wrong, this is it. M. Robinson is a fresh new voice in this industry and it is one you don't want to miss out on. Now this woman needs MVP and all these questions answered!

The Madam is a highly sexually intense and erotically-charged story of power, sex and control. Is there love? Yes, there is, in a way. The story of Lilith and her rise to become the powerful and influential head of a high-class call-girl operation is tragic at times and always gripping. Her mother trains her in the ways of the lifestyle, and Vivian will certainly not win any Mother of the Year awards. But she is sure of a woman's power and never lets her daughter forget it.

This story spans several decades and is filled with some of the most intense sexual scenes I have ever read. Menage, light BDSM, young girls experiencing their first sexual awakenings, this book has it all. All of the characters spanning the years are fascinating, and the Miami drug scene in the eighties and nineties provides a dangerous backdrop to the main story.

M. Robinson has an interesting way of writing where she takes you literally through the life and the mind of the main characters. It is a layered and very rich story, and not exactly for the faint of heart. Ms. Robinson is extremely talented and certainly can bring on the angst! Just please note that this book contains some very graphic erotic scenes and if that is your cup of tea, then you will love The Madam.

You love her.
You hate her.
You’re shocked.
Turned on.
Blown away!!!!
Yes ladies, I’m talking about Lilith Veronica Stone… AKA THE MADAM!!!

This chick is wild, crazy, and rules the world with her multi-million dollar VIP business and her pu$$y. When I read VIP, the first thing I thought was, “What the fuck did I just read?!!!” Well The Madam freakin rocked my world. You can hate her all you want, but she ROCKED in my book!!!! She was born into VIP and she plans on taking it to the top!!!

After reading VIP, I couldn’t wait to get Lilith’s story and learn what made her tick. I actually hated her character and didn’t think M. Robinson could make me change my mind. But damn, did she ever. I fell in love with Lilith and her crazy ways.

Power, money, greed, lust—anything but love—that’s what makes Lilith’s world go round. She shares her story with us—and what a story it is. She is GOD in her world.
“I am a sadistic bitch, but get one thing straight; I am “the sadistic bitch”. When I walk into a room I expect you to turn and watch, when I talk I expect you to listen, when I say something, I expect you do it, no questions asked.”

Growing up in the world of VIP, Lilith got everything she ever wanted. She was pampered, spoiled, and was more of a porcelain doll than a child. She was expected to take over her mother’s throne and run VIP. It was a given—what she always wanted, and now we get all the gritty details.

We travel through decades with Lilith. How VIP grew and grew, with her gaining everything she ever wanted. Everything she set out to achieve. Along the way she meets Mika.

I want a Mika. He is HOT, FREAKIN WALKING SEX!!!! And he gets under her skin… in more ways than one.
“Angel, you’re always so fucking wet. I have never felt a woman who can get as wet as you. Do you have any idea how much of  a turn-on it is to a man like me?”

God I want a man like him. The twists and turns and freakin hot, crazy sex will have your panties falling off. You are in for one crazy, hot, twisted ride!!! I am in awe of M. Robinson. She has to at the top of my list of authors who know how to write a hot as fuck book that will have your girly bits in a freakin tizzy. I am totally girl-crushing on M. right now and will read anything she writes!!!

It was a privilege to watch Monica's writing evolve into something so significant that it has the power to capture your attention and become consumed by the story. The Madam did that to me. The Madam has amazing character development and really adds to the overall premise of the series. I know what a lot of fans are thinking: what about Ysabelle and Sebastian? Calm down my friends, there are parts in this story that are told from Madam's POV that contribute to the scenes that occur in book 1. It was imperative to first get in the mind of Madam before their story can continue. Just remember, Madam has a lot of power and influences a lot of situations. Have some faith and patience and you won't be disappointed. Don't you want to know why Madam is the way she is? Remember the mystery of her character in book 1? Her secrets are no longer protected, they are exposed. I was blown away with this story and getting an in depth view of what goes on in The Madam's head, it was very intriguing. It is important to learn the history of VIP and how Madam was raised, this novel allows you to learn just that. The story starts from childhood all the way the way to the present. The plot is unpredictable and the content is realistic which allows you to connect to the story. You will quickly learn that Madam is a force to be reckoned with! The content that is covered in her POV will really put book 1 & 2 together as a whole and ends on a perfect note to begin book 3 which will include more of Ysabelle & Sebastian's story.

This novel deserves a chance before it is judged. The content is raw, dark, steamy, and just plain intense! I highly recommend this novel!

Holy effing hell!!!!!!!! What the hell did I just read...... I mean I can't wrap my mind around it. I thought I loved VIP but shiz I loved loved The Madam. I mean I after reading VIP I was blown away by the story. M. Robinson knows how to write a story that leaves you breathless and questioning your sanity because you're like what the eff did I just read?

The Madam brought us a new level of insanity that is the only way to describe The Madam. She knows what she wants and goes after it. She will not show any fear or any weaknesses to anyone and she rules with an iron fist. Call her what you want she is a crazy Biatch, she is called a whore by some but at the end of the day she is running the show and no one can change that.

In The Madam you get much more of her background and start to see what she went through and why she is the way she is. Why she does not do love and she lives the way she lives and why she runs the business the way she does.

To say this book was great is such an understatement because because holy SHIZNIT this book was effing AMAZING! Thanks M. Robinson I need more!

I seriously didn't think that M. Robinson could do any better than her debut novel as I loved it. However this book blew me away.

This is Madams story. We met her in book one and now we get to hear her story. I disliked her in book one however she's certainly grown on me after reading her story.

This book is raw, angsty and intense. Madams story is full of twists and turns that will have you gasping. There is also plenty of hot, erotic scenes.
Loved this story and I'm so looking forward to book three.

The Madam did not disappoint. I was very pleasantly surprised with the Madam’s story. I am usually not a lover of “back stories” or flash backs but M Robinson wrote the story of Madam perfectly. I was completely absorbed and entertained throughout the whole book and couldn’t put it down. I needed to know what made this woman “tick”.
Lilith Stone, the one and only Madam from book one of the VIP Series was born to become a VIP. Her mother groomed her from a very young age to become the charming, cold, calculating Madam we loved to hate in VIP. M Robinson had me craving more of Lilith’s story, I needed to know the circumstances that made her they person she became. WOW…did she deliver.
“I cried for everything….
For my past…
For my present…
And most of all.
For my future……”
M. Robinson evokes many emotions from telling Lilith’s story; first and foremost… it is hot! If you thought VIP was shocking, The Madam will have you blushing in the corner. But, it is also a story of love, loss, triumph, and grief. The twists and turns of the story are truly something that kept me intrigued. I can’t wait to see where M. Robinson takes us in her next installment of the VIP Series. Bravo M!***REVIEWED BY TONYA NICHOLS FOR EYE CANDY BOOKSTORE

So Fan-fucking-tastic!! Can't wait.
Holy shit Madam is ruthless. Another amazing story by M. Robinson. I must say the details in this story are mind blowing. The relationship between Madam & Mika have the hopeless romantic in me wanting more for them but Madam is clear on what they are.
I am excited for the next book and the little glimpse that was given is already heartbreaking.

*Taps mic* Attention ladies and gents...the Madam has arrived and she is taking no effin prisoners! If you are looking for a kissing during sunsets while riding unicorns type of love story, then you are in the wrong place. The Madam is down and dirty, and takes the life that was given by the balls. If you read VIP, then everyone should be familiar with the overwhelming distaste of this bad ass bitch. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who wondered what the heck happened to her to make her so hard and cold right? Well, here is her story, and it was intense, raw, and unforgiving. I loved every filthy, naughty word written. M really outdid herself and unleashed that wicked dirty girl inside with this one. The Madam is an amazingly multi-dimensial character that reflects the epitome of a love/hate relationship. I personally love to hate her, but wouldn't have it any other way.

"Although, God is a bit of a voyeur in my eyes as he likes to watch. He also sets the rules; look but don't touch, touch but don't taste, taste but don't swallow."

Well, I got to say the Madam is filled with lots of treasured bits of wisdom. She definitely looks at the world through some sexy powered glasses. This book shines the light on how Lilith Veronica Stone was not molded, but born to become the Madam. It starts off with her as a little girl growing up with her mother, The Madam, and her side-lined father who had his own other family. There is more to her family dynamic, but I won't reveal all the details. Her mother was strict, harsh, and unrelenting when it came to separating emotions that only showed weakness. Even though her mother was cold and firm with her, as she grew older, she couldn't help the draw her mother had on people; the powerful allure she emitted in everything she did. Eventually, Lilith slowly becomes aware of what it is her mother does for a living. This is where it starts to get juicy...so sit tight.

"Don't bite the hand that will feed you."
She proceeded to push the hair out of my face, turning me to watch the screen.
"You see that woman on display; you see her eyes, her face, her skin; she's beautiful. She's whatever she wants to be She owns everything and anything around her.
She's a vision.
She's wanted and needed.
She runs the show.
She is in control of it all.
She will be Madam one day...
She is you."

Lilith really is cut from the same cloth as her mother. She becomes impatient, and takes things into her own hands when it comes to her sexuality. She doesn't want to wait until she is told she is ready to sit at the grown-ups table...she takes the power into her own hands. Lilith decides one night to crash one of her mother's parties, while she is still an underaged teenager, mind you. She meets up with a handsome man she has met before at her mother's house and throws down her naughty card. Unfortunately her cards don't play out how she intended, and her life is forever changed by that night. Now we get a front row seat to the vulnerable woman who had a heart once upon a time, at least one capable of emotions, even if it was only a momentary glimpse.

I decided right then and there that I would also be incapable of love. No one will ever deserve that from me."

After she got her life back on track and began the construction on those impenetrable walls around her heart, she wanted nothing more than to become a VIP and learn everything there was to know about the business. Lilith became far better at being a VIP then even she was expecting. Let me tell you, some of those first scenes of her being a VIP caused an immediate need for a change of knickers. HOT, HOT, SCORCHING HOT! I know you are probably wondering if the Madam had a particularly special penis she favored while she was a VIP...maybe could have fallen in love with? Well, *clears throat* you are going to have to read to find out. *insert sinister evil laugh* The power that comes with being the Madam was just to strong for Lilith to wait around for it to be delivered on a silver platter, so she took things into her own hands.

"There is a fine line between loving life and being greedy for it, and I just crossed that line. I would take VIP when I wanted to, not when I was told."

Take that shit Lilith! Her life as the Madam was fast paced, and undeniably consuming. Now we get to see how she picks her girls and how she evolves from mere VIP to the Madam. I loved that the story eventually led to how she met Ysabelle. We learn many more details and unearth some dirty secrets that we didn't know about while reading VIP. The Madam was still ruthless, but you get to experience an occasional emotion cracking through when it comes to Ysabelle.

" My life completely took a 180 turn and I sat in the front seat without a Goddamn seatbelt on."

I knew I was in for quite a ride while reading The Madam and was totally prepared to reignite my distasteful feelings for her, but I was surprised by the unequivocal heart ache I experienced at the same time. Lilith is a very complex character who simply has no clue as to how to experience true love and trust from anyone around her. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I can't wait for MVP to continue Ysabelle and Sebastian's story. Thank you M. Robinson, my twisted sister from another mister, for yet another unforgettable story that at times bordered on disturbing, but only made me love it that much more! GO READ THIS BOOK!!!

Nina's review

Fear makes you weak and I am not a weak woman.

I must admit going into The Madam, I was a bit skeptical….I wasn’t at all crazy about the bitch in the first book, so I knew M. Robinson was going to have her work cut out for her in book two convincing me to like Madam. You see in VIP, Madam was a real piece of work. Everything about Madam was arrogant, crass and conniving with little sincerity or warmth but when I opened up The Madam…her story….I realized not everything you see on the outside is what is truly on the inside. I was consumed by her account of her life and how wrong I was in my perception of this woman.

“You are your mother’s girl, that’s all you need to remember, my Lilith.”

I have always felt that people are a product of their upbringing. The young and innocent cannot help the environment they were raised in and in most cases follow along the same path if for no other reason than the example that was set. For Lilith Stone, she was no exception. She was born pure and yet by the hand of her mother, was raised to be the woman she became. It was extremely interesting to read and watch as the wide-eyed innocent little girl found her place in the world under the teachings of her mother, the current Madam. You could see as Lilith talked about her daily life as a child that she was being groomed and as she grew, her innocence was stolen and she was thrust into the spotlight as the elite of the elite call girls known as VIP. As she aged and carried on with her legacy, you could see that the beautiful, sweet young child was being snuffed out and the future Madam was being shaped.

…never underestimate the power of a curious woman.

When The Madam begins, the story is told as if Lilith is talking to just you. Sometimes these type novels work for me, sometimes they don’t. In this account, M. Robinson was brilliant. Lilith’s voice was heard with conviction and an honesty of her world that she was only letting you into. At times, even though it was rough to hear, your heart broke for the life that you knew would Lilith would ultimately have. Now don’t get me wrong, Lilith had everything at her fingertips and the lap of luxury she lived in was one most girls would envy, but it came at a price. A price most of us would not want to endure.

The truth was….I was broken. I just never let myself admit it.
Being the Madam did not come without a huge cost. Lilith didn’t get where she is today by playing by all the rules and forgoing some things in her life that I think she should have paid more attention to. Sometimes when you are focused so much on other people, you tend to forget about yourself and that is where I think that Madam screwed up. She let the love of her life slip through her fingers because of her drive for success in the Cathouse and a couple of other relationships that I think she should have focused more on. But then again, that is just my opinion. Maybe not everyone needs love, but at the end of the day even I think Madam craved and missed it.

No one can hurt you as much as you can hurt yourself.

One of the greatest things I loved about this story was how during each era that we read about, the facts were pretty much right on the money. M. Robinson did her homework and I loved being taken back to the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and reliving some of the ups and downs of their times as well as the kitschy things their era had to offer.

“I love you, Madam, every last part of you.”

In VIP I gave M. Robinson all my trust and let her guide me on Sebastian and Ysa’s journey. In The Madam it took me a bit to give her that trust back, but I am so glad I did. This story was one that was meant to be told and I am so glad I took the time to listen to Lilith tell me about her journey. It was full of sex, fashion, travel, extravagance, partying and a lot of heartache. It was raw and honest. For me, it was simply beautiful. I don’t think Madam is done wreaking havoc just yet. I am truly looking forward to MVP which I believe will give us the final piece of the puzzle to the lives of Madam and Ysa….and by the looks of the MVP prologue, I think once again my heart will shatter for all the players in M. Robinson’s world.

She was adored. She was wanted. She was loved.

For shame Madam!
 photo madam_zps02cdb83d.gif

This is Madam's story told from her POV alone. It's a prequel to VIP, then runs parallel and jumps just a bit into the future. It does't have much to do with the characters from book 1 although she does talk about them. This still should not be read as a standalone because you'll need info from both books to read #3.

As messed up as Madam was, I couldn't help respecting her just a little. We now understand how she came to be Madam and I have to say that I liked this book better than book 1. She knew what she wanted and would take down anyone in her way. Although she was very driven, she cared deeply almost to a fault for certain people and that's what made her likeable. I was happy to discover that she really did have a heart although it was mostly black or should I say money green.

From her perspective she felt she was providing an invaluable service to the Miami elite with her VIPs. She was also a savior to her girls. Caring for them, teaching them and providing a lavish life style in the process.

She really was a master manipulator. She had a very cunning and clever way of hand picking her VIPs and convincing them to do things her way. And she always got her way...

 photo molding_zps962d1440.gif

She also taught the VIPs that they had power. Power that brought the most dominant of men to their knees with just a taste.

 photo power_zps06a95e87.gif

She was their mother, their mentor and their protector. They loved her for it. That's something she earned from the girls, not something she could demand.
 photo lesson_zps0ed4fcc8.gif

To be honest, Madam's WTF revelation at the end was kind of...

 photo ew_zps6cabf829.gif

But I can't say I'm surprised! I thought that was the case but I didn't want to believe it. So yup, she's just as fucked as I thought!

I can't wait for MVP! I can't even predict what's going to happen right now.

Review:

My name is Lilith Veronica Stone, aka Madam, and this is my story.

And what a story it was! Madam is a unique person to put it mildly. You will hate her, you will envy her, and at times you will even pity her. Will you ever like her? Well I can tell you that is not an easy question to answer. Maybe, maybe not.

I am a powerful, sexual woman. Enchantress on a good day, Demon on a bad, and an Illusionist for all the days in between.

This is NOT a Romance. It is a story of a women groomed from childhood to be the Madam. And I think it would be wise to check your morals at the door. If you are easily offended stop right here and move on. This book is not for you.

Do you need to read the first book prior to reading this one? I believe so. Although they are about different people it ties in with the first book, and the third and final will be a culmination what we learned in the first two.

When I said earlier that you may pity Lilith it is because her childhood was so harsh. She had everything money could buy but she was isolated and alone with no one to show her love and affection. Her mother did love her in the only way she knew how, but… It was hands off and cold. So I understood how she could ultimately become the person she did.

Some people need love… I need sex, money, power, and control.

But her heart was not all black. Sometimes she would let something or someone in. It was rare, but nevertheless it did happen. And she loved Ysebelle. We couldn’t really tell this by her actions in the first novel, but in her own warped way she adored her.

We get to see everything that happened in the first novel through her eyes, but it is not a retelling of book one. Mostly it’s just touched upon late in the novel. This one is all about Lilith, her transition into The Madam, and what this position gave and took from her.

The Madam is a wickedly erotic page turner that scoffs at societal norms. Like I said it is NOT a Romance, but there is TONS of sex. This is Pure Erotica, with all the kinks you cam imagine. Some of the time I enjoyed it, but I will say that F/F action is not really my thing and there was A LOT of it. Most of those parts I just skimmed. However there was some extremely hot M/F/M and M/F action that could melt my iPad!

And then there is the ending. I will not spoil it for you but just prepare to pick your jaw up off the floor. All the signs were there but I never saw it coming.

Overall, The Madam was nothing and everything I expected it to be. The writing was phenomenal, powerful, and unique–surpassing any expectations. As for the storyline itself, I expected this woman’s story to be pretty much crazy–and crazy is what we got. If you read and enjoyed VIP I highly recommend you see the other, more complex and seedier side to the story in The Madam.
