Yet another masterpiece by Kim Carnby. I was taken aback by the amount of twists and turns the Story takes. Just amazing. A simple story that is made to look like a complex one. I badly want to give the spoilers but it will ruin all the fun while reading tho Hehet.
Y'all need to check out this webtoon. It is just amazing.

Absolute Masterpiece🔥

القصه تبدا بشاب فاقد الذاكرة يجد نفسه فجأة على شيء جزيرة نائيه و بهذيك الجزيره في عيله عايشين لوحدهم هنيكً و هنا تبدا القصه لما الشاب يلاحظ سلوكيات غريبه من هذة العيلة و يبدا يشك فيهم و بكذا تبدا القصه .

ما توقعت تعجبني هيك خاصه ان اول نصف من القصه كنت مو فاهمه اي شيء حرفيا و كنت ضايعه بشو قاعد يصير.

كنت باول كم فصل اخاف على بطل من هذيك العيله و بعد كم فصل ثانيه اخاف على هذيك العيله من البطل و هيك استمر الوضع لان ٤٠ فصل، بس كله طلع بناء للقصة و بعدها تبتدي الپلات تويستات واحد ورا الثاني و كل مره اصدم اكثر من الي قبلها.

مسار القصه كان جنوني و غير اعتيادي ابد و النهايه كمان كثير عجبتني.

الي بيحبوا ال psychology thriller و علم النفس هيستمتعو كثير بقراية هل عمل لان الكاتب و الرسام ابدعوا بكتابه و رسم هيك اضطرابات بالشخصيات.

صار عندي فضول اقرا اعمال الكاتب الثانية ✨

يرمز إلى البيئة المتسخة أخلاقيًا والنفسية الملوثة التي يعيش فيها البطل، وكأن البشرية حين ترتكب الخطايا تصبح أقرب للحيوانات منها للإنسان.

من الأسئلة الي بتطرحها القصة بشكل غير مباشر هي :
العدالة والانتقام:
هل من حق الضحايا أن يصبحوا قضاة وجلادين؟ أم أن الانتقام لا يولد سوى العنف؟

الهوية والذاكرة:
من نحن بدون ذاكرتنا؟ هل يُمكن أن يكون الشخص صالحًا إذا نسي ماضيه السيء؟ أم أن ما فعلته يحددك حتى لو نسيته؟

التأنيب الذاتي:
ربما أعظم عقاب هو أن نُجبر على مواجهة أنفسنا، والعيش وسط كوابيس ذنبنا، دون مهرب.

النهاية غير متوقعه ، و القصة تستمر في تغير مسارها بشكل صادم وغير متوقع .

One of the most disturbing, chilling, psychedelic and creative narratives I've ever encountered. I'm not even used to reading manhwa or psychological thrillers, but I spent all my Webtoon coins on this one and I don't regret my decision in the slightest. The art is spectacular, the references to Lord of the flies are brilliantly done and the plot is so gripping, I ended up losing myself in that unnamed island with the main character and his oddball friends.

Read this if you want to check out of the real world for a while, but be prepared to be consumed by an even more messed up one, a world ruled by fear in which your own sense of morality will be put to the test. Enough said. I should stop talking right now to avoid spoiling your ride.

Just one last thing: please stay away from this if you're the type of person who struggles to fall asleep at night.

De uno de los autores de Bastard y Sweet Home, en esta ocasión un chaval se despierta en una isla donde vive una familia con un hotel.
Un lugar donde nadie es lo que parece, y no te puedes fiar de nadie. Ni siquiera del protagonista. Vas con él, y es la única imagen que tienes de la realidad. De su realidad. En una isla donde nadie aparenta tener maldad pero que cuando menos te lo esperas, los personajes empiezan a hacer cosas raras.

while a part of some twists in the story were predictable.... the ending was something i could never predict !!!!
it was a fun, fast-paced and tied-up-all-loose-ends read!!! <3

There's was mc who having amnesia that he didn't remembered at first, after meeting someone's family who runs the food & bed but it turns out they were serial killer that look like we're trying to kill mc for a reason.The mc used weapons against them but they were immortal & finding all the clues that attached with object n he realized that clues of objects can kill them in the end. Finally all the mc memories come back to him n the mc guardian who disguised as taehui was about to kill mc but he meet his son jinu n the others waiting for him but realized it was not real so he decides to leave mc n go back to reality world. Mc vs mc who desire to kill - fighting each other at the ship. In the end, it never tell us who won the fight in either of them. This story makes me confused n messed up twist part with my mind like mc n , yet the mc always making the wrong decision in some of the panel everytime he meet serial killer family, he should play along if he doesn't get himself kill(logic) n he should be smart plus how come he doesn't remembered the flashback where he wrote down the riddle at the laptop but remember the object that attached with clues.

Honestly man this is one of the best webtoons I’ve ever read from Carnby, I personally feel this is better than Sweet Home and Bastard (although both are very cool too ngl). I just loved our MC going from good to being a serial badass in order to get off the strange island. Also he mixed himself in with that strange family so he was in a big pickle. I really wish it didn’t come to an abrupt end cause it was just brilliant at chilling your spines and I rarely see decent thriller manhwas goddamitt!

HOLY HELL WHAT KIND OF MINDFUCK STORY WAS THAT!!!!!! okay, real talk : the illustrations are absolutely *chef's kiss* AMAZING and they go so well with the tone and pacing of the story. I loved the overall theme, the subtle and not so subtle nods at the larger societal constructs. I'm honestly racking my brain to find a single dissatisfaction with the manhwa but at this minute, there are none.

i LOVED this webtoon. i literally would wait all day every day to read a new episode and when they were giving out 7 episodes per day i almost shit myself!

BUT, if you like psychological thriller type stuff this is definitely it for you. the art is awesome. the story is awesome and honestly i didn't see any of it coming. read for free on webtoon!

I read this because it was the same author who wrote bastard which is one of my favourite webtoons and oh boy I was not let down, it has so much plot, and twists that it is impossible to get bored, this story will make you question your own reality, I 100% recommend giving it a read.

A highly complex, psychological story with a lot of mindfucking twists and turns, and especially touching on issues like abuse and gaslighting - and I mean that there's a lot of gaslighting within the story and from a meta perspective as well (i.e. of the reader by the author). My friend was very curious to know my thoughts and opinions on this, so we did a read-by-read commentary on Discord, and for the most part, I sort of figured it out by Chapter 24. Which did make me feel vindicated, but also a wee bit disappointed because I could predict the main body of the story. HOWEVER with that said, there were plot devices used such as red herrings which made for pretty decent plot twists.

After chapter 40, though, the English scanlations on Webtoons are not free anymore, so I had to resort to reading the Indonesian version, which was a tad annoying because it's not exactly Malay, so my friend verbally live-translated the Chinese scanlations to me on discord for about 20+ chapters.

If you're looking to read this in English without paying Webtoons, get a friend who knows Indonesian or Chinese to directly translate it to you verbally after Chapter 40 (I chose this method because it was the fastest, least cumbersome and also because you can bond better with a friend).

I've read Bastard which was by the same author. It was yet another masterpiece by Kim Carnby but gotta say Pigpen takes the top spot. Now I can't wait to read Sweet Home.

Another amazing roller coaster ride by Kim Carnby! It was so incredibly suspenseful and thrilling to read. Truly full of plot twists one after the other. I loved the fact that characters were never your typical villain and heroes. Character depth is intensively explored, leaving your own heart feeling sad, sympathetic and excited at the same time. Definitely a mind twister that is worth the read!

This webtoon is mind blowing. Every chapter is very engaging that you don't want to miss any scene. The author is really good at making the reader hooked on the story without dragging the the plot. Each twist in this story has made reader becomes curious and I personally enjoy reading every single twist in this story. Great story indeed.

WOW...I read this webcomic because the author also wrote Bastard which I absolutely LOVED . This comic IS GENIUS. I loved the plot and the illustrations were incredible, no matter what you do you will never see where the story is going which is very refreshing to see.
