I feel like this series is taking a really interesting turn. Characters I originally thought evil help out, other characters who are believed to be kind are mysterious in their motives. We also have an understanding of the series title now! It’s really cool, and I’m keen to see where this series goes! At the time I’m writing this, I only have the next two books, so I may have to order the next ones before I continue much further. Overall, another 5 stars for the Edens Zero series.

The plot is fun and interesting, but honestly, the sexualization of women in this is actually ridiculous. All the villain does is have money and use it to kidnap attractive women, taking off their clothes and turning them into stone. It is gross and unnecessary. I get it, it's shonen, it's the kind of thing that happens in all these mangas, but it's annoying. For example, Homura is an incredibly strong fighter and has an awesome scene where she takes out all the cyborg soldiers, and the scene ends with a pantie shot. Seriously, it would never be done for any of the male characters.
So, I like the concept of the manga, and the main characters have interesting personalities and motivations. The fight scenes are really cool and they are well balanced with normal plot scenes. However, we need to just let women wear normal clothes, please.

Shiki e Rebecca hanno ottenuto la Edens Zero, una navicella per poter viaggiare lungo tutto il Cosmo, ma per farlo devono trovare le Quattro Stelle Brillanti del Re Demone. Ecco che la prima Stella, Sister, si sembra trovarsi sul pianeta Guilst dove Rebecca e altre B-Cubers sono state rapite da dei criminali. Shiki corre a salvarla insieme a Pino, il professore e a loro si aggiunge la misteriosa spadaccina Homura. Ho letto questo volume insieme al successivo e mi sono piaciuti entrambi, la storia è ben presentata e appassionante. Certo rimane strano definirla visto che si, ci sono molti elementi da fantasy, ma anche molta tecnologia e devo dire che i due elementi si mischiano abbastanza bene insieme. Mi piace la caccia alle Stelle anche se pensavo sarebbe stata più “lunga” però è da vedere quanto impiegheranno a recuperale tutte e se una volta fatto Shiki e compagni potranno davvero recarsi alla ricerca di Mother senza ulteriori impicci...

I've read up to volume;
#6: with an overall rating of: ★★★☆☆ 3.6
the story is starting a bit slow but at least it seems like it's going somewhere
we had a sao-like arc lol + a lot of recalings to ft

This was a really solid volume! I am looking forward to the next volume in this journey. I'm glad to say that I am enjoying this title more than Fairytail.

Encore un tome dans la lancée des deux précédents. C’est toujours aussi addictif et passionnant à lire. Je prends vraiment un plaisir de découvrir chaque tome et ce qui se cache entre ces pages. Pour l’instant, je ne ressens pas d’essoufflement, bien qu’on soit seulement au troisième tome mais dans certaines séries, ça s’essouffle très vite. Ici ce n’est vraiment pas le cas! Au contraire même, plus on avance dans les tomes plus je trouve que c’est passionnant et intéressant à suivre. Surtout qu’à chaque tome on découvre tout un tas de nouvelles choses!
Dans ce troisième opus, on va découvrir que le vaisseau qu’Erzy a donné à Shiki n’est nul autre que le vaisseau du Grand démon, soit le grand père de Shiki. Il en devient donc l’héritier officiel. A bord de ce vaisseau se trouve, Witch, une des Quatre Etoiles brillantes et va donc leur apporter l’aide necessaire. Suite à ça, ils vont donc décider de partir ensemble à la recherche des trois autres Etoiles brillantes pour pouvoir continuer leur quête de Mother. Ils repartent à Blue Garden pour essayer de choper des informations sur Sister, une des Quatre Etoiles. Mais malheureusement sur Blue Garden, des b-cubeuses se font enlever par paquet et Rebecca ne va pas échapper à cela et se fait donc enlever…
Dans ce tome, on voit vraiment que Rebecca a une sacré force de caractère. Malgré les difficultés auxquelles elle doit faire face, elle ne se laisse pas démonter et se révèle être vraiment courageuse. Elle ne cède pas à la panique. Vraiment j’adore ce personnage. Docteur Wise jeune, m’intrigue énormément et me fait beaucoup rire d’ailleurs! Shiki, quant à lui, est toujours aussi fidèle à lui même. Il défend ses amis coûte que coûte, il ne faut en aucun cas touché à un cheveu de ses amis, ça le rend complètement fou et veut clairement en découdre. Witch est un personnage vraiment intéressant également. Sister, elle, est tellement énigmatique, j’espère en apprendre plus sur elle dans les prochains tomes.
L’action dans ce tome est toujours aussi présente. On ne s’ennuie pas une seule seconde. Il arrive toujours quelque chose à nos aventuriers. On ne peut pas dire que leur périple soit de tout repos bien au contraire. La fin nous laisse encore dans un suspense incroyable A chaque fin de tome je me jette sur le suivant tant le suspense est insoutenable! Je me demande ce qui attend encore une fois nos héros!

This planet is a hive of scum and villainy. Common sense is not common here.
Okay, Hiro Mashima is one of my favorite mangaka but for some his style can be a bit juvenile at times with blatantly sexy drawings or situations even though no actual nipples or private areas are shown leaving the series at a solid Teen rating. If you are the type of person that is offended by bath scenes, bondage, kidnapping, full body massages, forced transmutation into stone, and clothes melting bubbles then this might not be the kind of series for you even if it also has strong messages of friendship and an interesting cast of characters leading exciting lives. After all this is only volume 3 of the series. :)
After leaving planet Norma with the Chonophage displaced Weiss and a robot cutie (who could fit in with a Sergeant Frog lineup) named Pino the crew won the right to claim a warship from the space pirate Elsie Crimson that is capable of helping them achieve their goal of someday meeting mother. However on the ship their is an artificial being named Witch who is directly connected to the ship welcoming Shiki as the new Demon King that reverts the pirate ship to its original form (see cover for a glimpse of this Draconian Vessel in its glory.
However to be able to stand a chance to meet Mother someday Shiki must find and recruit 3 additional being that once worked for his father the original Demon King. Thus with the ship known as Edens Zero (great name drop there Hiro) we are thrown into adventure as the first stop turns into a clue to the 2nd entity of Edens Zero known as Sister as a plot to abduct B-cube stars takes the crew to one of the most dangerous planets in the cosmos.
If everything that goes down is not bad enough another threat pops its head up by the end of the volume making the situation even more dire. Let's watch the crew figure a way out of this situation as we make our way to volume 4. :)

Man, I am really enjoying this.
I was under the impression that this was just Fairy Tail in space, but this is so much more. I'm really intrigued by the characters and how unique everyone is. A lot of characters have me guessing how they'll act, there's so much action happening, and it doesn't feel super predictable. I am having such a good time with this.
Granted, like most Shonen manga I think it's one of those the battles are hard to gage exactly what's going on, especially since Shikis gravity magic I'm not really sure what it should look like in motion, so the anime would definitely be better for that, but regardless this so cool. And there are so many cool, intricate large panels to enjoy in the manga.
Think I've probably found the manga I'm gonna start collecting next.

4/5 In volume 3 our team has acquired the Demon King’s spaceship the Edens Zero. We are also introduced to Witch one of the Four Shining Stars of Eden Zero. All four will be required in order for our crew to enter deep space. But first a trip back to the guild where Rebecca is kidnapped by none other than a group of mercenaries run by Sister another of the Four Shining Stars. We are also introduced to Homura a swordswoman after a duel with Shiki because of his connection to the Demon King.

Ich bin gespannt ob es weiterhin unterschiedliche Planeten gibt und wie sie aussehen. Der Planet den wir hier kennen lernen ist beeindruckend. Da steckt auf jeden Fall noch viel Potenzial in den Planeten. Die Geschichte finde ich bisher spannend und auch sehr gut. Jetzt haben die Freunde ein neues Ziel bekommen, und bereits bei der ersten Etappe ergeben sich Probleme. Die unterschiedlichen Charaktere mit ihren Fähigkeiten finde ich bisher gut ausgearbeitet. Vor allem der Professor verbirgt wahrscheinlich noch sehr viel.

This is a manga that has me excited to continue each volume. Makes me question as to why I was reading American comics for so long. This is just about pure SF fun. SF meaning science fantasy. I don't have to be preached at or told I am a Nazi like in Marvel Comics. It is written and drawn with love and care for story and not agenda. It is super refreshing and hope this goes to 200 issues or more.

En mi opinión, lo que es la acción va un poco lenta pero creo que irá cogiendo ritmo en los próximos tomos. Creo que todavía es pronto para tener una opinión sobre este manga, pero por el momento en estos tres tomos me estoy quedando un poco meh.. Pero quiero seguir dandole una oportunidad ya que tengo fe en el mangaka xD
Si en el tomo 10 no estoy contenta con lo leído, yo creo que pararé y seguiré con otro manga.

Enfin un tome avec plus d'action et de la baston!!! Par contre, ça m'a soulé grave y avait trop de fan service et d'ecchi. Et dès le tome 3 c'est agaçant. Je me souvenais pas que dans Fairy Tail et Rave c'était le cas. Bref, en passant outre ces bémols, l'histoire commence à prendre un tournant intéressant j'ai hâte de voir ce que ça va donner.

Aksi yang digambarkan semakin keren, plot juga semakin menegangkan, para tokoh juga mulai berganti kostum membuat kesan tidak monoton tentunya tidak seperti manga Shounen yang umumnya bajunya bakal itu-itu saja.

Con una nueva nave Shiki tiene un nuevo objetivo y es encontrar a las cuatro guardianas de la nave las cuales van a ayudar a mejorar la capacidad de la misma, todo se complica cuando Rebecca es secuestrada y una de las guardianas esta involucrada

Series still going strong. We have the first big arc underway, and it is entertaining. Multiple interesting characters with different events going on. Love it. Highly recommend.
