The art and character design is so smutty but the story is not. He is in love with her and he wants her to be as dedicated to him as he is to her. We get discussions of feelings and some background on our assassin in this volume. This is so plot focused for the art. I do want more Asap.

I freaking adore the art and how lewd it leans lol but the story is severely lacking. Except for Omi’s obsession and spoiling of her.

Recap: getting closer, backstory, visit orphanage, she was his first ever target, ending with her handler being happy she’s now Omi’s biggest weakness.

The title and Neneko's appearance make a lot more sense in this volume as we learn not only why Omi became an assassin, but how the two first met. Coincidentally, this also explains some of his obsession with taking care of her despite the concerns over enemy groups. Though Omi is insistent on keeping this a secret at the moment, it would be interesting to see if this knowledge would change Neneko's point of view about the organization and their relationship at all, especially as it's clear without the organization, there wouldn't be anything holding her back. It seems that this mysterious benefactor may have some not so happy plans in mind for Omi, and believes Neneko is the key to making it happen, which certainly may be the case given their connection underneath all of the titles and work roles.

And so the plot thickens and my intrigue has deepened.

I know many would think this series is just pure fluff or a guilty pleasure, but it's a shameless fun time for me. It gets more and more fun as the series goes on

.·°՞(っ-ᯅ-ς)՞°·. Both of their backstories can rot in a dark place! Why they gotta be so sad!?

Anyway, super fun story so far with a bit of angst sprinkled overtop which isn’t too bad….. it just better stop. I mean it. These two are too precious for the crap that is gonna be thrown at them.

the anatomy continues to defy the laws of the natural world lol. but I'm still enjoying how dramatic and silly this is. I think it's my new 'yakuza fiance'....I can't stop reading it!!
