Losing my family’s ranch was bad enough. Finding out my enemy bought it? That’s just infuriating. Jack was the last person I ever expected to deal with again. But he’s been back in Bridger Falls, quietly rebuilding his family’s ranch and pretending the past doesn’t exist.
The boy who left me without a word is now a gruff, maddeningly attractive cowboy with too much responsibility on his shoulders—and somehow, he’s the star of a reality TV show to find a wife.
It shouldn’t bother me. We’re enemies. Except now, every stolen glance, every touch, every argument pushes us dangerously close to something I swore I’d never feel for him again.
I tell myself I hate him. That I’d rather set my barn on fire than fall for the man who stole my ranch.
But maybe we were never meant to end—just waiting for the right time to begin.
Wild As Her is an enemies-to-lovers, spicy, small-town rom-com with forced proximity and sizzling tension. It’s a standalone Western romance with a happily ever after.

“She’s not hard to love. Loving her is the easiest thing I’ve ever done. I don’t even have to try. It’s like breathing.”
Thoroughly enjoyed the build up and banter in this one. I loved how each chapter title was named after a country song…that was a fun touch. The setting and characters were definite pros for me and I think this series has strong potential as it continues. The final chapters felt a bit slow and repetitive and the epilogue left me wanting more but I’ll definitely be continuing with the series as it unfolds.
Yess Queen!!!!! I absolutely loved Jack and Cami!!
Their banter was top notch so hilarious and adorable.
The push and pull of these too was just perfect and I loved that they didn’t just give into it right away. The story is cute and funny. The spice is very slow burn but it’s great once you get to it :)
Jack and Cami are soulmates undiscovered at first and I was so here for their ride. 😏
Suck an amazing read and I can’t wait for what’s next!!
“ You’ve always hated your last name. You can have mine.”
Just finished reading an advanced copy of a book that is about to be released on June 12th called, Wild As Her. This is book 2 in the Bridger Falls series. The first book (Forever to Me) was such a beautiful and captivating story, I didn't know how book 2 could possibly measure up, but I loved this story just as much! Cami is fighting to keep her family ranch that's going under, it means everything to her. But it is bought by none other than Jack, her childhood best friend-turned-crush-turned-enemy and she is livid. When Jack is cast as the star in a new reality TV show being filmed on his family's ranch, he moves in with Cami at her ranch (which he now owns). Cami is afraid of getting hurt by him again, she can't trust him. And Jack wants to do anything and everything to show her he's changed. Which is why he bought her ranch to begin with, not to take it from her, he bought it FOR her. *swoon* 😍🫠 Words and sparks fly every time they're around each other and they just can't seem to stay out of each other's orbit. These two are like fire and gasoline together! I devoured this story, I absolutely loved every single minute of it and I didn't want to put it down! I loved Cami and Jack, I loved the side characters, I loved the quirky town. This book was so well written, it was totally perfect! 💙📚
Thank you to the author and to the publisher for this ARC of Wild As Her, in exchange for an honest review.
Cami is desperately fighting to save her family ranch after her parents basically abandoned her with a mountain of debt! She promised her dying grandfather she’d keep it in the family, but the bank already owns it & wants to sell. Her dream is to turn it into a gathering place—cozy bed & breakfast with charm, trail rides with views that leave you breathless, a summer camp for kids & a micro bakery-farm stand combo that people will drive hours to visit. It’s going to be the heartbeat of Bridger Falls. Jack is the hot cowboy neighbor, though he left for the Navy after high school to escape his terrible father (who’s now thankfully in prison). Cami & Jack are the weirdest best friends they’ve ever seen, like fire & gasoline. More of a rival variety. It takes his sister’s reality TV dating show to finally wake them up to what’s been staring them in the face all along while Cami races against time to save everything she loves!
What I love most is how the author doesn’t just hand you everything on a silver platter—you have to work for the backstory and slowly peel back layers of these characters’ painful pasts with their fathers. Both Jack & Cami have so much depth & their childhood trauma isn’t just thrown at you for shock value, it’s woven beautifully into who they are as adults. This slow burn romance between Jack & Cami that transforms from heavy family drama to full-blown romcom when the reality TV show kicks in is seamless & had me laughing out loud! The hidden feelings & the songs at the beginning of each chapter that set the mood perfectly—everything builds to this amazing happy ending that had me literally sobbing happy tears & completely falling apart on my bed. If you love enemies-to-lovers energy, small-town vibes & characters who feel like real people with real problems, RUN to get this book because you will not be emotionally prepared for how good this is!
A big thanks to Erin Branscom for providing me with a digital ARC of this book! — #AdvancedReaderCopy
One of the sweetest hallmark type books I’ve read. I love the banter between the main characters and how real the author makes them and their struggles seem. It helps you connect to the characters you are reading about. And who doesn’t love a good western romance.
🫶🏼 Tropes/Topics 🫶🏼 💙 Rivals to Lovers 🐎 Forced Proximity 💙 Cowboy Romance 🐎 Found Family 💙 Grumpy/Fiery
Erin never lets us down with another small town romance.
Cami is fighting to keep her families ranch from going under, Jack is being forced onto a reality television show to find a wife. Their banter is top notch and you can almost see and FEEL the sparks fly. This town once again made me fall in love and I wish it was a place a could visit 😍🥰
Welcome to Bridger Falls, Book 2
🩶 I received a free copy of this book, and I am leaving this honest review voluntarily 🩶
FIVE OUT OF FIVE FREAKIN STARS!!!! Bridger Falls series has my whole entire heart and I absolutely cannot wait for book 3. I loved Violet + Walkers story from book 1 but wow I am obsessed with Cami + Jack. The banter was top notch and had me laughing literally out loud at times. Cami is such a strong character. She is a woman who knows what she wants and she’s not going to allow anyone or anything in the way of that. The generational trauma that she and Jack overcome together just pulls at my heart strings. The ending had me in happy tears… and the slow burn spicy is PERFECT and plays out just how it should. I am OBSESSED!!!!
Hmm I really wanted to love this book as I enjoyed the first one but the vibe was different. The constant calling each other their last names and the obsession with coffee was a bit annoying. Maybe I am over thinking it but do many people ride their horses in the middle of the night especially when she has been taunted by a psychopath living near by 😂😂
It was cute but missing something and I really didn’t understand why they needed 4 story lines in one book. The tv show, the turning the ranch into whatever dream , their parental issues and then their love story as well. It was a lot to process and also a bit dull too. I’m not sure I would read any other in the series sadly. Jack was cute though.

There was a lot of unnecessary stuff going on in here and it could have done without the whole story line of ‘rancher finds a wife’. Just too much. I ended up skimming the last 75%.

As I've said in the first book of this series I've fallen in live with this town and all it's characters. They make this story so much more and bring it to life. This is a story about love. Love for each other and self love. About being true to yourself and being strong even with the several adversities life throws your way. And it's also about learning to trust, yourself and others. Cami is a rancher girl, stuggling to keep her ranch in her possession after family's bad decisions. She never had a caring and warm childhood, so she learned to fend for herself and to be as independent as she could. If she didn't rely on others she wouldn't be let down. Jack is a rancher, and has been all his life. His childhood wasn't easy and he has a few ghosts to scare away, but all that made him a trusworthy and reliable man, who goes way and beyond for those he cares about. When he learns that Cami needs help and is about to lose what she loves most, he jumps in and takes the lead. Even if she doesn't want him to at the time. They had a past, and after some years appart they reconnect as enemies. There were some trust issues and bad decisions as teenagers clouding jusdments. But they have to start working closer and with the addiction of a tv show on the ranch thay are in each others spaces all the time. And in that time they fight, they pick on each other and we have so much banter. The tension.. ohhh, the angst. We could feel it imprinted in the pages all through the book. It almost could make the pages combust espontaneously if one more scene was added to the mix! But, also we could feel their love in every interaction, in every word. Mainly him.. The way he is completly head over heels in love with her...🥰
"I’m gonna love you when you’re fiery and loud and when you’re quiet and scared. I’m gonna love you when you don’t think you deserve it and when you push me away and when you’re trying so damn hard not to need anyone. I'm going to do it even harder"
“WILD AS HER” 🐎🍃 Book 2 in Bridger Falls Series - ARC REVIEW 🩵
Happy release day!! Officially it’s available on KU and to order it!✨
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Do you think shoveling horse crap in a blizzard while screaming at a raccoon to get out of a hay barn is hot? I think not, but Jack Jessop even as a child knew that he fell in love with Cami Kendrick at that exact moment.
Can we blame him? Absolutely not. Cami is a fierce character, strong and wise and care too much about her family and ranch. She has family issues, deserves so much better but good thing that Jack is always there for her. The trope “found family” is available for both of them, they both have family issues but they found each other.
Firstly they are rivals to lovers, Cami hates his guts since he rejected her when they were teenagers but she will find out that he has good reasons for doing that. Gradually because of the reality show is happening on Jessop Ranch “The Rancher Finds A Wife” in which Jack is the star, Cami realized that she loves him and can’t let him go.
The setting, the ranch details, Cami’s coffee shop “Steamy Sips”, the characters brought me some comfort I can’t explain. The cozy atmosphere made me wish to live my life in a ranch in Wyoming too. :))
One thing I needed more of this story is more action or to be slow paced. I feel like the moments were so fast described and they in a second were resolving everything from their past. Also, I couldn’t get Teresa, Cami’s mom?! It was needed Jack’s help to bring her to reality to love her daughter? I was so annoyed with this thing.
Overall, this book is perfect for this summer. A quick small town romance with hot cowboys and cute atmosphere. It is a quick read and you will fall in love with Jack’s charm.
So, I recently finished Wild As Her and WHAT A CUTE AND CUTTING JOYRIDE.
Insane with the banter, the back-and-forth and ALL the feels. Like, what the heck why was this so good?? I love this dynamic. Jack and Cami are #GREEN FLAG all the way. The way Erin Branscom has written these two is so authentic. There was suspense, drama and plot without hodgepodge and unnecessary chaos and conflict. The internal struggle and trauma was real, and confronted so well. This story is one of few today that vocalise good nature and courtesy and respect. Nothing manipulative or forceful, just LOVE.
The good humour, banter, chemistry and intimacy was amazing! And the girl talk? So. Real. *giggles*
The writing was good, the plot was consistent and the story flowed so well that I fell in love right alongside our main leads. Besides, this book served small-town-romance so well. All the characters were so chaotically loveable and so endearing. I can't wait to read more about all of them. Also shoutout to Cami - she is such an icon and a total badass.
Thank you dear Erin for a book that showed real and true love and actual bravery in people. The everyday courage and joy in life was so beautifully depicted.
Thank you so much to Erin Branscom for an eARC copy of Wild As Her! Here is my honest review!
I was SO excited when I heard that Jack and Cami were the next couple in the Bridger Falls world! I absolutely LOVED their banter in Forever to Me!
And that amazing banter CONTINUED in Wild As Her!
Cami is struggling to keep Wilder Ranch in her family, even though her mother and brother want nothing to do with it. It's all she has left of her grandparents, it's in her blood and she has big plans for it. Until the bank lets her know that the ranch has been sold.
Jack Jessop has always loved getting under Cami's skin. Mainly because he's wildly in love with her. He's got his own problems trying to keep his ranch afloat, get rid of his fathers minions, and with buying Wilder Ranch (which Cami is NOT thrilled about). And then his younger sister goes and signs him up for a reality t.v. show where he'll have to pretend to fall in love and find a wife...only...he's already done both of those things, Cami just doesn't know it yet.
Jack and Cami continue their love to hate banter through the entire book. The yearning behind each others backs, the meddling town, and the fact that these two help each other and support each other in the realest of ways makes this book a new favorite!
Wild As Her delivers all the swoony, slow-burn tension you’d want from a small-town, enemies-to-lovers romance—with a delicious cowboy twist.
The setup is perfectly chaotic: lose your family ranch… only to find out it’s been bought by him—the brooding ex who disappeared without a word. Jack is the ultimate gruff cowboy hero, now stuck front and center in a reality show to find a wife (yes, you read that right), while our feisty heroine is forced into close quarters with the last man she ever wanted to see again.
Cue: stolen glances, tension-filled arguments, and sparks flying like fireworks at the county fair.
There’s forced proximity, second-chance heartbreak, and just the right amount of spice to keep things hot without overshadowing the emotional journey. And beneath all the banter and bickering, there's a deep, aching love that never really faded.
If you love: ✅ Cowboy romance ✅ Spicy enemies-to-lovers ✅ Small-town drama with heart ✅ Reality TV shenanigans ✅ A guaranteed HEA
…then you’ll devour Wild As Her just like I did.
Jack may have stolen her ranch, but he just might steal your heart too.
Jack is officially my new favorite book boyfriend! 😍
From the very first page, I was hooked. Jack and Cami’s story had everything I wanted: second chances, enemies-to-lovers tension, emotional depth, and the kind of chemistry that makes your heart flutter. The way Jack has always loved Cami—even when life (and a reality TV show!) gets in the way—absolutely melted me.
Every time he called her baby, I got butterflies. I caught myself smiling and grinning so hard, my face literally hurt.
Erin’s books feel like coming home. They’re like freshly baked cinnamon rolls—warm, gooey, sweet, and absolutely perfect. I don’t just read her stories; I feel them. Every character, from the main couple to the side characters, is so beautifully written and full of heart.
Cami’s energy and strength are pure badass, and honestly, I wish I could be more like her. She handles everything life throws at her with such fire and grace.
I was so excited for this release, and it delivered on every level. I’m incredibly grateful to have received an ARC—thank you, Erin, for letting me be part of this amazing journey. I can’t wait to see what’s next in Bridger Falls!
“You’ve always hated your last name. You can have mine.”
Ahhh SWOOOOON 😍 There is just something about the second book in a series that always just…ugh gets me! I absolutely loved this book! Don’t get me wrong Walker and Violet were perfect but Cami and Jack, heart eyes for days!
This book definitely had more of a Yellowstone vibe with all of the ranch rivalries. I really liked that we saw a lot more of the ranch life as well as things happening in the town. We got more girl group antics and I freaking loved it! I’m growing more and more attached to all of the characters with each book and I love it!
Cami and Jack were perfect! Their banter, and chemistry was amazing. I absolutely loved reading about their journey.
Cannot wait for the next book in the series!
Thank you author Erin Branscom for allowing me to read an advanced e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

”And if you think I seem jealous now, wait until I show you what I do when something’s mine.”
Welcome back to Bridger Falls, Wyoming! Erin Branscom’s idyllic small mountain town with hot ranchers and brassy book besties is a place I was giddy to revisit! Book one, Forever to Me, will always be a favorite but I dare say Erin has outdone herself with Wild As Her. A frenemies-to-lovers, neighbors, he falls first love story for the ages, Wild As Her is a wonderful book. Throw in a The Bachelor style plot twist, a bit of suspense, and all the witty/flirty banter, and I was feral for this romance. Jack and Cami’s shared and individual backstories were heartbreaking, their animosity was palpable, but their deep respect and admiration for one another upheld a unique friendship through the years. Oof, their chemistry hit hard and I was giggling and kicking my feet the whole time. I loved Wild As Her from start to finish and cannot wait for more Bridger Falls love stories!!!
"God gave us men, but then he gave us Jack Jessop as an apology" 🤭
Can I just move to Bridger Falls right now please?! 😍
I love Cami & Jack's story, always meant to be. The tensjon was great between these two, such a heart warming story, loved how sassy Cami was too she was very relatable.
& Jack! 😍😍😍 just love him as an MMC.
The only thing that made this not a full 5 stars for me was the sub plot of the reality show I think the story was honestly good enough with out it, but in saying that it did make it a unique book. I'm glad it wasn't the main focus of the story & we got plenty of the other things going on.
Thanks again to Erin & team for allowing me to be an ARC reader for another bridger falls book, Erin has created an amazingly immersive small town community in these characters that feels like home to me. 💙🩵
“Enemies. Friends. Something more. Whatever this is, it's feeling like everything.”
4 ⭐️
Cami & Jack grew up on neighboring ranches in the small town of Bridger Falls.
When Jack leaves suddenly, breaking Cami’s heart, she had no idea he did it to protect her.
But now, both Cami & Jack are back & trying to save their family ranches.
Cami still loves Jack but is too stubborn to admit it. Jack still loves Cami but doesn’t want to break her heart again.
And as the two go round & round, they have no idea the entire town is placing bets on them.
What to expect: 🌳 Small town romance ☕️ Grumpy & possessive MMC 🌳 Childhood friends to enemies to lovers ☕️ Reality TV show 🌳 Banter ☕️ Forced proximity
Thoughts: The banter & tension in this book was delicious. I laughed so hard!! I think grumpy MMC / fiery FMC is my new favorite trope.
4.5 Stars This second book in the series is so good. It's rivals to lovers with the perfect sexual tension between the characters. Jack has so much on his plate, but he knows Cami is his end game. He pull out all the stops to prove he is worth taking a chance on. Cami thinks everything and everything is not going her way especially when she losses her family ranch. Unbeknownst to her Jack has some plans in the works. This book has such a great sense of humor that had me chuckling along while reading. Cami and Jack's banter was one of my favorite parts of this book. Now I'm not one that likes reality tv in my romance books, but man did Erin do a great job with it. It didn't overtake the book for me and lead to some funny moments in the book with Jack trying to hide all the time. A great read that I highly recommend!
After reading the first book in the Bridger Falls series, I already knew Cami and Jack would have amazing chemistry and I was right! Their banter was so good and funny, and the tension from their past made their journey even more compelling.
Both Cami and Jack are trying to save their families’ neighboring ranches, but thanks to some teenage mistakes and a long held secret by Jack, they’re not exactly on great terms. Watching them learn to work together and slowly rebuild trust was so satisfying.
One thing I didn’t see coming was a dating show on the ranch! It was unexpected, funny, and added such a fun layer to the story and they stressed those producers out real bad!! lol The found family aspect, in the book was heartwarming, and all the funny side characters brought a lot of hilarious moments.
I can’t wait to see what’s next in the series, fingers crossed it’s Weston’s story!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Cami did everything she could to save her family’s ranch but she wasn’t prepared for the bank to sell the property to her neighboring rival.
Wild As Her is the second book in the Bridger Falls series. While it could be read as a stand-alone, I would highly suggest reading Forever to Me (book 1) first. This enemies to lovers romance does contain open-door content.
Wild As Her has a little bit of everything in it and I loved every second. Do you enjoy “The Bachelor” types of shows but you’re also in the mood for a cowboy romance? This is the book for you. There were quite a few little twists that really set this book apart and had me reading the whole thing in one sitting.
Erin Branscom has been on my auto-buy list for a while now. She has such a skillful way of weaving more serious topics into her books without them coming across as a joke or after-thought. She’s very intentional and direct but thoughtful.
I can’t wait to see whose story she has for book three!
received a free eARC in return for my honest opinion
First off i read this as a stand alone. I dont regret it but i feel like i missed some things. I will be going back and reading the first book. What i loved about this book is the banter. So much GREAT banter (thats my sweet spot in books). Also that it was a second chance. something about books with both of those makes my heart really happy! I will say it was a very slow burn which has its ups and downs with me. Im not a huge fan of slow burns but ehh its the season. There was also a twist with it that i loved also. These two will hold a special spot in my book remembrance vault in my head. Also maybe top book boyfriend? All I do know is i will be recommending this to my friends who also love this type of book!
Erin’s stories are full of love, laughs and amazing community. This story is filled with many of my favorite tropes - small-town, rom-com, enemies to lovers and forced proximity
Jack and Cami are a real treat! The banter, sass and chemistry is amazing! They are both so stubborn and determined…but also are amazing humans. The angst, slow burn and building tension between the two is fabulous!
They both have some family trauma that they are working through..with each other’s trust, love and understanding they help one another sort out their feelings.
The reality show kicks up the rom com level of this story…so many laughs and funny situations.
Loving this series..looking forward to the next book.
I’m busy right now. Packing my bags to move to Bridger Falls.
I have not rated two books in a series 5⭐️ in a row. I am absolutely loving this series!! These characters are so loveable and make you want to fall in love with not just Cami and Jack but also the community.
I loved watching the two MCs grow through out the storyline and the banter was 👩🏼🍳 💋 amazing.
By the end of the book Erin Branscom was tugging on my heart strings with how much Jack loves Cami.
I did love the reality tv storyline also.
I don’t know who I want to see next, maybe Poppy. She needs love.
Genre: Romance APK: Ebook Pages: 388 Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️ Series or Standalone: Book 2 in the Bridger Falls Series.
The dedication for Wild As Her is spot on. I have looked forward to Jack and Cami’s story since the first book in this series, Forever to Me. I had a feeling the snark and banter (usually coming from Cami) will make their story so fun to read. We learn a bit of what happened between the two. The banter in their story will have you cackling in glee. Each interaction just left a smile on my face. Bridger Falls, the town, is a character itself. The townspeople see everything that Jack and Cami are too stubborn and blind to recognize for themselves. I would have finished this story in a day but you know life. Wild As Her has all the flirty teases leading to chemistry that was always meant to be.
I absolutely could not put this book down once I started reading it! Jack and Cami's story was perfection. Enemies to lover, found family. Both Jack and Cami have had feelings for each other since they were younger, but he pushed her away, to keep her safe. In the process he broke her heart. I absolutely love the banter between these two. The build up for when they finally give in and tell each other how they feel! Loved every bit of it!!!! I love the community of Bridger Falls and all the connections! The found family aspect of this series is perfection! Love it and 100% recommend to others! I can't wait to see what comes next for this series!
This book feels like a warm hug in the middle of winter. It’s a slow burn, feel good story featuring Jack & Cami. Having grown up on neighbouring ranches, they’re known each other for years. He’s her brother’s best friend, she’s the younger sister he couldn’t have. They both had difficult childhoods which has given them insecurities. Everyone in Bridger Falls can see they’re meant to be together, however neither are aware how the other feels. It takes a reality TV show for them to realise what’s been under their noses the whole time. There’s masked feelings, banter, plot twists & a delicious HEA that leaves you in a melted puddle on the floor.
*I received a copy of this book as an ARC. This review and thoughts are mine alone.*
Rating: 5/5 Spice: 3/5
This book had the slowest burn but it was SO worth the wait.
Jack and Cami are the two people who could weather any storm thrown in their way. The longer they fought their attraction, the better the results were.
The entire time they were doing the show my heart kept hoping that Jenna had secretly planned for it to end the way it did, but it was so much more than I could have pictured.
And the way she stood up for Jack with his dad made my heart so happy.
What an amazing story! Can’t wait for the next book in the series!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Oh my gosh Jack and Cami! What a ride this book takes you on! I absolutely loved the dynamic between them but it took a dating game show for them to see what they had to start! The banter was so good, umm can we talk about the plot twist? I love how Erin tosses this into her stories! Keeps you reading!
Each character has a lot of growth to be made throughout this story and boy oh boy do they grow but without a tinge of laughter and excitement!
I can't wait to see what comes next out in Bridger falls.
