After a terrible betrayal, Clara is dead inside, and the burden of saving the human race only makes things worse. When a newly discovered tribe that belongs to her dragon comes under attack, Clara must make temporary peace with the enemy and risk her life for the survival of humanity and the dragons.
The city of Yloria, where Clara must recover the second crystal, becomes a prison. She meets those who should be dead and those she hates with all her soul. Clara faces trials that disturb her mind and days that leave a mark on her subconscious…
Peace is temporary. Surprise attacks make Clara jumpy. The enemy has a dagger that destroys dragons, and the only way to save herself is to hand over the crystal.
With help, Clara infiltrates the city, ready to strike and release those who’ve been taken hostage. This is the final battle, and fate will test faithfulness, courage, and sacrifice.
This was just not good.. it was all over the place and 2 stars is generous.. the first book had potential and it just got worse with the second and third. I was skimming through it by the end just to finish it. This is one I wish I'd dnf'd
Omw!!! I am in utter shock. This series got me hooked from book one. I absolutely loved this series.
This books is my baby to The Hunger Games and Fourth Wing, I absolutely loved this series and it was the perfect size for me to finish the series in a short time and get my back hooked on Romantasy😍
But first let me review the book:
Spice: 🌶️🌶️/5 Friendship: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
It had everything I wanted in a book, my favorite type of tropes: enemies-to-lovers, mentor-student-relationship, backstabbing best friend, plot twist, but most of all dragons and a good story line.
I really wish there was more and I would have wanted more but I am also content on the ending and the happy ending. I was shattered after Desmond death before the last chapter but somehow J.P. Feathers gave me the ending of happy endings and I am content and glad how it ended and I wouldn’t wish it any other way.

Loved the concept and characters had such good potential but all just felt so rushed and so much was not explained it just happened leaving me so confused. It could of been a longer series with more detail as that ending could of been 5 star if the rest of the booked wasn’t so rushed
This trilogy was a marathon of mediocrity! It was long, dull, and a masterclass in mistakes, both in language and storyline. For instance, a character would die, and on the next page, they would be discussed again. The author can't even keep track of everyone she kills. It's bad, bad, and pretty bad. Bref... Read something else, you're loosing your time.
Im crying WHYYY THEY HAVE TO DIEEE… I CRIED FOR THIS
“Blaze, It's been many days. I've tried to get you back, but you haven't forgiven me. I feel stupid writing you a letter, but a good friend of mine named Chleo told me to do it. To show you a side of myself that you haven't seen yet, that you might be able to love again. So here I am, sitting on a hill while Xaran sleeps nearby, both of us having escaped for a short time from the city of Yloria and Olin's rule. I hope this letter will open your eyes, or at least mend your broken heart, which is all my fault. To write that I love you would be stupid and boring. Clara, it was only when I left you that I understood what loneliness is. Until now, I thought my father's rejection and the label that society had put on me meant that I was an outcast, alone, hated. But that was nothing compared to what I feel in my chest now. The world has become much darker since being away from you. You are no longer the light of my every day and the flame the shows me the meaning of life. Every day, when the sun shines, I spend hours lying in the meadow, looking up at the blue sky, the closest colour I can find to your eyes. I could look into those eyes for hours, and it made me realise that peace can be a person—you. I'm trying to fool myself, trying to find you in the small details of the world, so that the burden on my shoulders will feel lighter.
I saw your empty, anger-filled eyes and your tired face. You wanted to kill me; you hated me, and I hated myself too. I saw what you did not see, my dear. Your soul is tired of fighting, of dying, of the world. You looked so frail, exhausted. All I wanted to do was hug you, hold you, and tell you everything will be all right, that I will be there for you and that you won't have to suffer anymore, that I will be your wall against the world, that I will be a guillotine, that the burden of deaths will smear my name and not yours. I will be whatever you want me to be because my heart beats only for you.
Many years from today, we'll be sitting in this meadow. There will be a girl with white curls and a boy with chestnut hair. They will both run around playing with Teirac and Xaran. We will be joined by our friends who will tell our children stories about two lovers whose feelings for each other had changed the world. Over time, wrinkles will decorate our faces and our hair will turn gray. Despite the stamp of time, you will still be the most beautiful woman. Ah, Blaze, I can't wait to grow old, to be with each other until our time is at its end and perhaps our fates intertwine after death. Even then, I will find you again because you are my purpose. You always will be. Yours, Desmond.
Im FUXKNAHHA CRYINF VRO I CANNOTT BUT THEY DO REINCARNATED AS DRAGONS AND LIVE HAPPY EVER AFTERR..

This book was a bit meh for me. I loved the first book but the second was ok and I was interested to find out what happened in the third. I mainly finished this one since I was already invested but a few things irked me about this book.
One the pacing seemed all over, and it felt really rushed. Some parts felt really bland/dry (like there was no voice, just felt really cut and dry — and then the use of the word leader really got on my nerves and felt weird), whereas other parts were written really well and made you feel invested. Overall It felt pretty short. I read it in a day while at work. some parts could’ve been expanded upon more, like show the reader not tell, paint me the picture of what happened instead saying on this happened and then moving on. I wanted to know more.
Also there was certain character that got killed off but then was brought up a few chapters later supposing to have a conversation with a character off screen?? I felt like details fell throu the crack. And the FMC — I felt like she just bitched majority of the book and her overall journey was annoying and then probably the last 5% of the booked she did a 180, realized her feelings too late and changed her heard It had a nicely wrapped up happy ending though but still felt short honestly
I love indie authors, but this felt like something I would read as a kid on Wattpad.
Spoilers to Follow:
This book is worlds apart from the first one; I feel like we had some super cool hunger game based book series that slowly turned into everyone dying gruesome deaths for no reason. The storyline was poorly developed and as my comments on previous books in the series stated, the grammatical errors (and just errors in general) were even worse in this book. Bianor died and then the next chapter he was visiting Desmond who was injured and in bed.. somehow Chleo was a lieutenant, captain, and a general? If you want to fully explain something in a book, have an understanding of it or it makes you look worse. If weapons are included, understand the parts of the weapons so you don’t have a character putting her finger on the “crosshair” and firing.
My one prop to the author was the foreshadowing of Desmond becoming one with Xaran. I think that was hinted at earlier in the series as Xaran kept saying Desmond would be his last. Not sure if it was intentional, but it was nice to end with.

I would've given 5 stars but the end ruined it so it's 4.
Honestly, it should've ended when Desmond died (or a little, LITTLE, later). Instead of letting her journey around (skipping MONTHS) and making Clara old and become a dragon etc... it ruined the whole book.
I also think that Morgana acted completely out of character in this book. Like, old Morgana wouldn't have done such things.
Same with Ollie, because in the first book, he was the comfort character that would kill for her but in this book, he wanted to kill her for no real reason. What happened?
I can't say only the bad things because I loved Desmond. I feel like he. MADE. SENSE. Throughout the whole series. He got positive character development and didn't do anything mayor out of character.
It was a great book and I loved it but, as I've said multiple times now, the ending ruined it and I felt like some characters were completely different characters.
I acted like the ending didn't exist because it made much more sense.

Maze of Twilight takes the Eldmoor series to an even darker, more complex level. The story plunges clara into a web of deception, dangerous alliances, and morally grey choices, testing both their abilities and their trust in others. The titular “Maze” isn’t just physical—it reflects the confusing, shadowed paths of power and loyalty Blaze must navigate.
Magic continues to feel risky and consequential, and the tension ramps up with every chapter. The pacing is fast, with twists that keep you guessing and a climax that hits hard while leaving room for future revelations.
Fans of the series will appreciate how Maze of Twilight balances high-stakes action with character-driven drama, making it a gripping and satisfying installment.
This was the ending of the series and I was a little board of it. There was some scenes Innthe book that reminded me of a TV series I had watched. That just didn't sit right with me. Then the ending if he had been part of the dragon all along why not say something instead of letting her be alone and heart sick.
That ending was both the most soul crushing and healing thing and I'm still sobbing. Would I say the start was iffy and it took me a bit to get back into it after a break from book two to this one... sure. However, everything picked back up and I was engrossed.
The MCs are so special to me and I will miss them.
Amazing end to a awesome series. It puts through a few emotional roller coasters. But it answers all the questions you have. The characters are amazing. Just remember to have tissues. It made me cry a couple different times. But i loved the whole book series didn't want to put it down!
I loved this series. She has done a fantastic job as a young Indie Author and I have rated this higher than Fourth Wing and Iron Flame. ❤️ I loved that it actually ends in a way that the reader can be satisfied that the story has actually ended rather then thinking we need more.
The whole series was great!! Had me clenching my book and wanting more time to read. The final book actually made me feel wild emotions and the plot twist left me with a smile!! Perfect ending to me!!
I liked the series. I liked the characters. This is a hunger game vibe series. So Lots of war, battles. Politics about human tribes, dragons, survival. I even cried at the end. For me, I would loved an extra chapter on the end. 😉
the first book was ok, the second was so much better and I DNF'd this one. It was light years away from the basis of the first 2 books. I wanted to push through to see how the trilogy finished but I just couldn't do it. The story got to ridiculous for me
2.5⭐️ I rage finished this book. The only good part was indeed the ending. I can’t get over the different spellings of keyla, plot holes, horrible pacing again, and the grammar mistakes🙃 the plot had so much potential
