Luce Sutherland has been reading juicy, erotic romance since before it was mainstream... when you couldn’t hide behind a Kindle, and you had to bring the illicit book to the register - and be judged by the cashier.
When those books became harder to find, she resorted to writing her own stories with dominant alpha heroes and the bold, sassy heroines they aim to tame.
She is passionate about living each day to the fullest, which includes nurturing authentic friendships, savoring Maui coffee, indulging in Scottish gin and being a devoted advocate for the benefits of self-care. Her motto is LIVE LIFE JUICY!

Just to be clear - I am NOT supposed to find Dimitri Ivanov hot, right? Because I 100000% do and I have zero regrets about it. Not that Gage also isn't a smokeshow in his own right, I just have such a thing for the Russian alphaholes.
I really loved this book and up until now, the BDSM trope had only been mildly interesting to me. I think what did it for me was how in-depth this got with it. However, the first few chapters felt a little awkward and disjointed to me. The way events happened didn't make a lot of sense and had I beta read this, I would have definitely questioned that it be rethought. I felt like Patricia in particular was really downplayed and Brynne's past relationship was overplayed.
So let's talk about Brynne. I love a feisty FMC and she definitely delivered. She wasn't a pushover, which was refreshing. I also really liked her BFF Jared and his whole side story, but would have loved to see that convo about his private party performance discussed in detail to show his perspective and add some diversity.
I am really surprised that this seems to be Luce Sutherland's first novel, her writing is spectacular and the pace was great, too. I was completely hooked once I got past those early chapters.
It looks like from Luce Sutherland's website that there will be at least two more sequels to this - I'm guessing for Cole and Aaron? If so, YES PLEASE. But also, Garrick needs his own book as well. Looking forward to reading anything Luce Sutherland writes and now I may need to look for more BDSM trope books....
This is my first book from Luce Sutherland, and I was surprised by it in a very good way.
Brynne is writing a book. Within the story she wants to have lots of BDSM spicy scenes, but as a woman she doesn't have a lot of experience with it. An opportunity comes when she goes to an interview at the prestigious London BDSM club, working closely with its owner, Gage MacLeod. She did have some difficulties at first getting the job, but with a little bit of help, she gets in. Now being in this club gives her the perfect opportunity to explore her wild side. She realized that none of her previous boyfriends knew what she wanted from a relationship. So it's time for her to finally have some fun doing her research in the subject.
Gage is attracted to Brynne from the first moment he sees her. There is something about her that is irresistible to him. Then again, there is something off with her, and he starts to doubt her intentions coming to his club.
These two were like fire and ice together. There was so much heat every time they met. Which was understandable when they finally became lovers. He was the perfect teacher for her, and he knew her wants and needs when it came to sex. They even started falling for each other up until a big misunderstanding stood between them. A misunderstanding that got them tangled with each other even more. Because even though they hated the heat between them (only for a bit), they couldn't keep their hands off. After the story was unfolding bit by bit, it turns out they had to be together from the beginning thanks to Brynne's aunt, Josie.
My spice level in this story was off the charts. Even though it is quite rare that I read BDSM stories, this one was that good that it made me want to read more in the future. The spice, the heat, the smut...Everything was at a top level, and my smutty heart was satisfied... Wait, not only satisfied but beating extremely loud when it came to the scenes between Brynne and Gage 🥵🥵🥵.
I have to say—I am still not in agreement with the way Gage is thinking after she was framed, but at least he realized it on time. And this Dimitri's character—he was an awful human being. I never despised someone more than him. Just because you like someone, that doesn't give you the right to do bad things to her/him and think that you own someone. I truly hated that guy.
One thing is for sure—this was definitely one of the spiciest books I've ever read, and I will definitely read more books from this author in the future ♥️.

Looking for a steamy romance novel that gives you all the angst? Tons of drama? A twist of suspense and mystery? Lovers to enemies and back again, topping it all off with a nice HEA? Well, author Luce Sutherland has just the book for you. Delicious Surrender: A Steamy Grumpy Sunshine Romance (Dominant Billionaire Series Book 1) is packed with all of the above and more. It will tantalize you, and keep you page-turning to the very end.
Delicious Surrender: A Steamy Grumpy Sunshine Romance (Dominant Billionaire Series Book 1) draws the eye of readers with a handsome dark haired man front and center on the cover. Dark haired and dark eyed, he’s stares intently out of the cover. Open white shirt displays a toned chest beneath. Underneath the man is the cityscape that clearly defines London. The cityscape gives readers a clear idea of the location, which will be the primary setting for this book.
Delicious Surrender, told from the third person perspective, details the story of Brynne Larimore and Gage MacLeod. Brynne is struggling to write an erotic novel. She’s had a couple of setbacks with her manuscript being rejected and told that she needed to make the story steamier and more realistic. The task seems daunting on it’s face, but she’s determined to get the information she needs to be just as successful as her Aunt Josie.
Gage MacLeod is the owner of an elite London club in Delicious Surrender, that caters to those with specific tastes, desires, and needs. He’s just getting out of a relationship that failed to thrive the way that he had hoped. The truth came out about his romantic partner, and he decided it was best for them to go their separate ways. He has little interest in finding a new romantic partner, but when Brynne comes along, she sparks his interest.
Delicious Surrender by Luce Sutherland is a truly delicious steamy romance novel. Author Sutherland beautifully captures the grumpy sunshine aspect of Gage MacLeod’s character. Equally true, author Sutherland accurately portrays the brat side of Brynne Larimore. It is easy for readers to get the sense that Brynne is not someone who likes to be controlled or told what to do.
Author Sutherland showcases throughout Delicious Surrender that Brynne is determined to do what she feels she needs to do in order to achieve her dream of becoming a well-known author like her aunt Josie. Throughout this novel, readers will witness the lengths that Brynne is willing to go to gain the information she needs for her book. She’s willing to explore chat rooms and websites of all sorts, and when she learns about the club that Gage runs through her friend Jared? She knows that she just has to get in.
The amount of detail that readers will find throughout Delicious Surrender is absolutely spot on. Readers will celebrate the amount of research that author Sutherland puts into this book. We get a dominatrix who gives Brynne a questionnaire that we’re sure many would be interested in filling out for themselves. Author Sutherland doesn’t give readers what they would expect when it comes to this unique woman. Expecting Ms. Valentine (the dominatrix) to show up decked in leather head to toe? Well, you’ll be surprised with what you find in Delicious Surrender.
The first half of Delicious Surrender maps out Brynne finding her way into Gage’s orbit at his club. Readers get glimpses of her at her first job as an editor. Brynne seems pretty good at her job and has started gaining some recognition for her skills. But if she wants to write her erotic novel, she’s going to need an into the club that could wind up being the windfall of information she’s desperate for.
Of course, author Sutherland has quite a healthy amount of drama waiting to unfold the minute Brynne makes her “debut” in the club in Delicious Surrender. She catches the eye of Gage, of course, but author Sutherland has more in store for Brynne. Cue up the dangerous Russian club member who Brynne manages to catch the eye of. He wants her. He doesn’t care that she’s not interested. Brynne is warned about him, but there’s not much that she can do to try and avoid him. He refuses to take no for an answer, and he will do whatever he needs to in order to have her.
Delicious Surrender sets the stage for drama and romance between Gage and Brynne. The push and pull between Gage the dom, and Brynne the brat is tantalizing. Author Sutherland delights in showing readers how much Brynne enjoys pushing Gage’s buttons. Brynne wants Gage to believe she’s a submissive, but anyone with sense knows right off the bat that she’s far from being submissive to any degree. It makes for entertaining reading nonetheless.
When Delicious Surrender hits the halfway mark, buckle up! Author Sutherland kicks this book into high gear and throws readers a huge piece of red meat drama. An explosive story hits the newsstands and it throws Brynne’s and Gage’s relationship into utter turmoil. It’s not enough that Brynne is dealing with a personal issue, now this comes along to top everything off. Cue the chaos, cue the drama, cue the suspense!!
Once readers hit the halfway point of Delicious Surrender it’s like this book gets a big boost of energy. Brynne is shoved out of her “comfort” zone and is pushed into unfamiliar territory. Her relationship with Gage is officially on the rocks. It seems like everything is done between them. But is there a way back for these two lovers? Well, this book does have a HEA, so the answer is yes.
First, though, Brynne and Gage are going to have to work through their issues. The way they come back together in Delicious Surrender is something that readers are going to absolutely delight in. It happens in a predictable way, but it doesn’t matter because it works and is entertaining.
Throughout Delicious Surrender author Sutherland showcases Brynne’s attitude. She’s a firecracker, and it works for her most of the time. There are moments though where you just know that she’s being completely unreasonable. Throughout this novel, she gets off on pushing Gage’s buttons in order to get a rise out of him. Author Sutherland wants to make sure that readers know she’s a brat. There are times when it dances the fine line of being too much but just stays on the right side of that fine line.
Both characters are realistic and believable. Questions that readers have concerning the big blow-up and how it was facilitated is eventually answered, you just have to be patient. You’ll probably piece it together before author Sutherland reveals the facts, but it does not detract from the page-turner that is Delicious Surrender.
Delicious Surrender is gripping, and truly delicious. Readers will enjoy the tastefully done steamy BDSM scenes. The scenes between Brynne and Gage are well done and never cross into anything that readers will find uncomfortable. Packed with drama, a nice sprinkling of suspense this standalone novel will leave readers eager for more from author Sutherland.
Readers who enjoy steamy BDSM romance novels with grumpy sunshine men (him being stupid rich is a plus) will not want to miss out on author Sutherland’s Delicious Surrender. The first book in the Dominant Billionaire series, Delicious Surrender is a must-read for readers who enjoy steamy erotic romance novels. We look forward to what author Sutherland writes next.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
If the world of BDSM intrigues you, this book is an absolute must-read. This was the most interesting approach to expanding your sexual horizons! Brynne takes a part-time job at London’s elite BDSM club for inspiration for her book. Talk about commitment to the craft!
I absolutely loved how Brynne’s mind works, and we share quite a few similarities. And then there’s Gage… the way he fell for Brynne was heart-melting, even if his actions later made me want to throttle him. No, for real. He wad a real ass at a certain point.
The following part will be hidden due to some spoilers.
Can we talk about the ending for a short moment? My god! I wanted to scream out of pure happiness!
This book is a tornado of emotions. It’s wild, it’s dramatic, and it’s so worth it! Can't wait to see what else Luce has in stock for us!
Delicious Surrender is a hot grumpy-sunshine romance in Luce Sunderland's Dominant Billionaire series. It includes tropes such as dom/brat relationships, lovers-to-enemies, and a strong dose of BDSM, all tied together with a satisfying HEA.
As with much of the world these days, I'm a fan of billionaire romances. So, did I read this book in one sitting? Yeah. Was it worth it? You bet. The book grabbed me from the beginning, meshing spice with an interesting story that features enough drama — and possibly even crime — to keep me invested.
Although this book leans heavily on the spice, the author balances it with character buildup and a well-paced story. The plot never lags, and the tension between the characters keeps you turning pages. The emotional beats land just right, making the steamier scenes more believable.
I adore Brynne! Her fiery attitude and magnetic personality light up every scene, and she’s impossible not to love. Her best friend Jared was another standout, and I’d love to see him get his own story. He added humor and heart to the narrative, making their friendship feel authentic and endearing.
Gabe, however, was the type of MMC I didn't dislike, but didn't exactly love either. I get that he's supposed to be imperfect, but there were times his choices made me roll my eyes at him, and my love for him dipped a notch. Nevertheless, like most characters in this genre, his redemption arc gave depth to his character, and by the end, he was more endearing.
The spice, the drama, and the passion were just what I wanted in this book, and I'm already itching to read the rest of the series. My expectations are through the roof, and I'm ready for more of Sunderland's addictive storytelling!
This is Luce Sutherland debut book, this Steamy BDSM book had me hooked the main characters I loved Gage and Brynne.
Gage is a Scottish Billionaire who runs a sex club in London he is one hot sexy Dom
Brynne is a feisty redheaded woman who is looking into submissive role for her steamy BDSM novel these two meet and my god the chemistry between them is electric from the first meeting.
The Side characters Jared Brynne best friend he is a delight to read also Garrick the manager of Dominus.
I can’t forget Aunt Josie i had tear in my eyes reading there interactions.
My only nip pick is that i wished it was Duel Point of view as I think both main characters would of been even better with banter between them
Luce Sutherland’s *Delicious Surrender* is a steamy, high-stakes romance that plunges readers into the enticing yet dangerous world of BDSM, power plays, and forbidden passion. With its sharp dialogue, layered characters, and a sizzling undercurrent of tension, this novel is an addictive read for fans of alpha-billionaire romances with a fiery twist.
At the heart of the story is Brynne Larimore, a bold, curvaceous heroine with a quick wit and a penchant for defiance. On a mission to fuel her writing and reclaim her confidence post-breakup, Brynne steps into Club Dominus, a place where boundaries blur and desires are laid bare. Her dynamic with Gage MacLeod, the gruff and commanding Scottish billionaire, is electric from the moment they meet. Gage’s icy demeanor and rigid control clash spectacularly with Brynne’s playful rebellion, creating a delicious push-and-pull that keeps readers hooked.
Sutherland excels at building tension, both emotional and physical. Gage’s struggle to maintain his professional detachment, even as Brynne gets under his skin, is palpable and tantalizing. Meanwhile, Brynne’s journey from seeking inspiration for her novel to confronting her own vulnerabilities adds depth to her character, making her relatable and endearing.
The plot takes a darker turn when Brynne captures the attention of a dangerous Russian club member, raising the stakes and forcing Gage to make a choice between his rules and his instincts to protect her. This twist injects suspense into the narrative, elevating it beyond a typical romance and adding a layer of intrigue.
Sutherland’s writing is evocative, vividly capturing the allure of the BDSM scene while remaining respectful and empowering. The club itself is a character, its elite and secretive atmosphere setting the stage for both sensual encounters and high drama.
However, the true strength of *Delicious Surrender* lies in its exploration of trust, vulnerability, and redemption. When Brynne’s impulsive choices lead to a betrayal of Gage’s trust, the fallout is intense, forcing both characters to confront their fears and desires.
A debut author and the first book in what will hopefully become a series set in the world of BDSM clubs and if Delicious Surrender was anything to go by Luce Sutherland is definitely someone to lookout for although if I’m being honest, she grabbed me with a Scottish hero. The older I get the more I appreciate it when an author makes her heroines older and more streetwise than the usual virgin who blushes every time the hero looks at her. Brynne Larimore was in her early thirties and not scared of experimenting but unsure what she was looking for. She had fantasies but its only when she’s told the sex scenes in her novel need work, and with the help of her BFF Jared she decides to venture into the world of BDSM with a job at Club Dominus, a club owned by Master Gage and a whole new world opened up to her before everything imploded destroying her life.
I will admit this book was a little hard to get into to begin with. The flow of the writing seemed a bit disjointed, and the characters felt a bit flat. Despite this the BDSM scenes were well written and not overly gratuitous. There was an obvious tenderness in how Gage handled Brynne both during their scenes and afterwards. For me where this book really picked up was when the story moved to Scotland. The pacing settled down and I felt we saw the characters in a new light especially Brynne who was a woman who liked to push against her limits and make her Dom work hard while but held back from completely surrendering. My one complaint wouldve been she forgave Gage too quickly and a part of me had been hoping a certain Russian badboy would’ve stolen her from under his nose. Maybe I should be more careful in what I wish for in future as theres a fine line between rescuing and kidnapping but then again, I’ve always been a sucker for the baddie.
With the clashing of two strong-willed people within a BDSM setting, we have all the makings of an intense, hot, and captivating read. The instant, almost combative dynamic between Gage and Brynne set a heart racing tone that had me pulled in and intrigued as to how their attraction to each other would develop. And did it ever! There are fabulous side characters in this book. Jared, Garrick, Patricia, and, most definitely, Aaron and Cole, whose stories I am hoping for. Brynne's determined focus on learning more about the world of BDSM is characteristic of her strong nature, which makes her relationship with Aunt Josie and her return to Skye even more poignant. I truly felt her mixture of anger, grief, and frustration at the circumstances in which she found herself. And I loved the setting!! A wild, stormy, beautiful place to harbour two such vibrant characters. And Dimitri. Well, what can I say? Is there a heart at all beneath that grimly determined, cruel exterior? Maybe we will find out, but he definitely needs some time on the naughty step! I have thoroughly enjoyed this book from a new to me author who has successfully has me engaged and entertained. 💖💖💖💖💖
Absolutely LOVED!! Luce Sutherland's debut novel had me hooked in the first chapter. I love that I can see her in the character of Aunt Josie. Brynne and Gage have the perfect banter and she loves to push his buttons. I was so captivated by the dynamics of the club and all different kinks and levels of BDSM. As well as a certain Russian member that likes Brynne a little too much. The sense of community in the club is so fantastic. I cannot wait to devour the rest of this series! Luce has gained a fan for life in me.
This is such a well balanced book between spice, angst, and suspense that it drew me into the pages. Good storyline and characters with that special something to make it a joy to read. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
did i devour this book!?! absolutely … i was hooked!
⊹ ࣪ ˖ overall thoughts ⊹ ࣪ ˖
i really loved the idea of this book but something fell a little flat for me in the end. maybe it was the third person narrative or the fact i felt like i didn’t really know the mmc by the end. there was also a couple of pacing issues but i am excited to continue with this series.
if you want a fun kinky time with a little intrigue that you can read in one sitting this definitely fits the bill.
Brynne needs to research a BDSM club for her novel. Who better to help her than the owner of the club, hot Scot Gage? But is Brynne up for the demands Gage will make not just on her body, but also on her mind and her heart? She's no soft sub, and Gage will have his hands and mind full with this brat.
Gage doesn't want to be drawn to Brynne. He doesn't trust her, nor does he normally like brats. But there's something about her besides the obvious, that has him fascinated. If he can keep this little arrangement to just "research" and "training" then he'll be fine...
Whew, Gage and Brynne are fire! Their chemistry is smokin hot, their banter is funny and snarky, and this brat sure did bring the grumpy ass Scot to his knees. I've heard this is the author's debut novel, and I am very impressed - it's entertaining, fast-paced, and the characters have a real depth, especially Brynne. I admit to not liking Gage at times, as the way he treated her at first was awful, but eventually they worked through their issues. Of course there was an epiphany to be had, thank God it came at the right time. There are some awesome secondary characters surrounding Brynne and Gage, and I'm hoping their stories are coming next.
ARC provided by Grey's Promotions for an honest review.
Delicious Surrender follows Brynne, a London-based writer whose half-written BDSM romance novel pushes her toward a bolder, messier, and far more personal journey than she ever imagined. After a breakup that strips away her safe, predictable life, she dives into the erotic underworld, not as a voyeur behind a laptop, but as an active participant. From her nerve-racking interview at the elite Club Dominus, to her intense encounters with a legendary Domme, to her electric clashes with the magnetic and maddening Master Gage, Brynne’s story is one of self-discovery wrapped in heat, humor, and raw vulnerability. The book blends the erotic with the emotional, showing both the thrilling power play of dominance and submission and the inner battles of a woman learning to drop her armor.
I had a blast reading this book. It’s sharp, cheeky, and vivid in all the right places. Brynne’s inner monologue cracked me up as often as it made me blush. The pacing has a satisfying rhythm of slow burns that spike into sudden, pulse-racing moments. What I loved most was how Sutherland makes the eroticism feel earned. The heat doesn’t live in endless descriptions of skin and leather, but in the teasing pauses, the push-pull of control, and the tiny moments of vulnerability that hit just as hard as the physical scenes. There were points where the banter and Brynne’s self-deprecating humor undercut the tension.
The characters feel alive, even the ones who only appear briefly. Mistress Patricia completely stole my attention. Her elegance, command, and warmth wrapped in danger made me want an entire spinoff just about her. Master Gage is pure temptation laced with barbed wire, and while he isn’t always likable, that’s part of the pull. I appreciated how Brynne’s growth wasn’t about finding “the right Dom” so much as it was about finding her own boundaries and desires.
By the end, I was both grinning and wishing there were a few more chapters to linger in the afterglow. Delicious Surrender is for readers who want their romance spiked with edge and humor, who don’t mind their heroines messy and mouthy, and who enjoy erotic tension built on more than just explicit scenes. If you like your love stories with a twist of danger, a splash of wit, and enough steam to fog the windows, this one’s worth surrendering to.
“Fight me all you want. It will make your eventual submission all the sweeter.”
From steamy power plays to a scandal that could bring them both down, Delicious Surrender offers everything you crave in a hot, high-stakes romance. When Brynne Larimore—a feisty, curvy redhead looking to inject real-life spice into her BDSM novel—steps into London’s exclusive Club Dominus, she’s determined to learn from the best. Too bad the club’s icy Scottish billionaire owner, Gage MacLeod, would rather rattle her cage than open his doors.
Why You’ll Love It: • Grumpy-Sunshine Fireworks: Gage is the epitome of grumpy alpha-hole billionaire, and Brynne’s sassy wit proves she’s no timid submissive. • Dom/Brat Tension: Watch their sizzling dynamic unfold as Brynne challenges Gage’s every command. • Scorching Chemistry & Angsty Suspense: Intrigue meets white-hot attraction when a Russian club member’s seduction puts Brynne in jeopardy. • Enemies to… Intimate Tutoring: Think lovers-to-enemies-turned-hot-sex-lessons, with a dash of scandal that forces them to question everything. • Guaranteed HEA: Despite secrets, betrayals, and epic battles of will, rest assured you’ll get the hard-fought happily ever after you need.
If you’re ready for billionaires, bratty banter, and a pulse-pounding ride through jealousy, power, and redemption, Delicious Surrender is your next must-read. This standalone is bursting with sizzling tension, undeniable attraction, and the kind of spice that’ll leave you breathless.
Luce Sutherland's debut novel has me impatiently waiting for more. I was hooked from chapter 1, the depth of the characters just drew me in and kept me glued to the pages. I loved seeing the relationship develop between Gage and Brynne, the sizzle was just 🔥🔥 Brynne being such a brat was nearly frustrating me at times because I just thought "GIRL stop fighting this dude who you clearly want so much" 😂 but I think that just added to the thrill of the chase and made the evolution of the storyline that much more satisfying.
Josie is such a great addition to the storytelling, really enjoyed being able to connect with so many of the characters but in particular her. She gave me some real laugh out loud moments. There are so many threads in this novel that add so much depth, and I loved that L.S. managed to draw all of those threads together to create such a great storyline. You're not just getting some 🌶️🌶️ content, you're also engulfed in this enigmatic scene with some mystery, danger and just deep feels - she gets it all!!
This novel gave what feels like an honest view of the Dom/Sub dynamic, it didn't overplay the Dom and it really showcased how delicate and serious that relationship is, rather than just a power play you can really see the nuance behind their agreement and how there are many layers in taking on such roles. The scenes give a juicy view behind that BDSM curtain that many are too scared to look behind.. And the climax?? (Pun intended.) Well done! I'm personally hoping for a little novella to supplement, just to see how Gage and Brynne are doing while I wait for L.S.'s next release ;)
Live life juicy!! :) looking forward to the next one 🔥❤️

This is the first book in the Dominant Billionaire series. Brynne is a hopeful author, an editor and a server at BDSM club. Brynne has written an erotic novel and sent it to an editor however, they believe her characters need help. Brynne’s writing involves the BDSM scene of which she knows little to nothing. So she convinces her best pal Jared to get her an interview. While there she becomes determined to thwart her boss Gage. Gage is the owner of the club and an original grump, he just got out of a toxic relationship with a blue blood woman and his mother is running for some office. So Gage is grumpy and a little obsessed with Tinkerbell (Brynne). Gage and his club is focused on submissive men and women who serve others. Brynne is really not sure she’s submissive, especially since she is so bratty. She attracts the attention of a very wealthy mafia guy who really wants her. Many times I wasn’t sure if the mafia guy was supposed to be bad or just appear that way. I’m not sure if he will make an appearance in another book. But personally I liked Dimitri. The story has moments where the story seems to lose focus. However those BDSM scenes were very hot. I’m curious about the next book in this series.
Hear me out before you read this review.. PLEASE DO KEEP IN MIND IT'S MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE 🥲 THINGS MIGHT WORK OUT FOR YOU!!! Solo ... First of all .. this is a 3rd person POV... I'm so sorry but I'm not a fan of it 🥲 I just feel somewhat disconnected.. BUT AT THE SAME TIME I can enjoy everyone experience throughout the story ... But still not a huge fan of it 🥲🥲
BOOIII THE SUSPENSION WITH THESE TWO IS AS THICC AS MOLASSES 🤣🤣 I love how Brynne just embraces her sexuality and GODDAMN she's a sucker for pain 🤣🤣 AND GAGGEE ..... THIS MAN IS SCOTTISH ... 100%SOLD ON THE ACCENT!! But tbh he's about of a dick 🥲
the first few chapters I was abit confused because WHY AM I ROOTING FOR THE BAD RUSSIAN 🥲🥲 But after Gage MANUP and grabs his own balls GODDAMN DID WE FOLD FOR HIM FOR SURE....
THE SPICE WAS SPICIINN YAALLL...... ONCE IT STARTED JUSSTTT HOT HOOT FIREEE 🌶️🌶️
Books contains: - BRAT X DOM - BDSM CLUB - Boss > Enemies> Lovers - Impact play - Food play - Bondages - Slight kidnapping
For anyone who is a significant fan of erotica and BDSM-forward erotica in particular, with an element of thriller and action thrown in as well, this was the perfect read for you. The author found an outstanding balance in the novel between the steamier, more erotica-driven scenes between the two protagonists and the complex character developments that brought them together and drove them apart as the story progressed.
The enemies-to-lovers and lovers-to-enemies tropes blended well in this novel. The spiciness of the main character's encounters with one another and the twist on the relationship that comes later when a personal loss takes Brynne to Skye intensify their connection in ways neither of them could have seen coming.
The Verdict
Heated, passionate, and engaging author Luce Sutherland’s “Delicious Surrender” is a must-read for fans of erotica and romance. The infusion of action, suspense, and character-driven narrative will instantly grab fans of the genre and keep them enthralled with this new erotic series.
Brynne takes on a job at Club Dominus in order to put some spice into her life and her book. She quickly gained the attraction of both the club owner Gage and Ivanov a dangerous club member. While sparks fly between Brynne and Gage, Ivanov makes her feel shaken and unsafe. After a tragic loss and a public falling out with Club Dominus Brynne ends up in Skye on her aunt's property. From there she tries to unravel secrets, deal with loss, and write her BDSM. Of course Gage has to be there, the man she wants to forget the most. Of course he has to lure her in and try to control her. Of course he has an offer she can't refuse. This billionaire BDSM debut book is captivating. The chemistry between the main characters is palpable. Their quick wit banter and tension is undeniable. With mystery and headache thrown in there l. And the spice, the spice SPICES!!
This is the first in a new series as well as being a debut from this author, who has done an impressive job in weaving this storyline. Brynne takes a job at Club Dominus, to gather information with some real-life experiences to spice up her BDSM novel which she is writing. Gage is a Scottish billionaire, and owner for the club, and he is ruthless and unyielding, as he protects his London club and his elite clientele. The sparks fly between these two when they meet, but can they survive a scandal? This is a well written story which has emotion, angst, grumpy / sunshine, opposites attract secrets, lies, betrayal, scandal, mystery, suspense, intrigue, humor, palpable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, spicy, and unpredictable addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend.
This book went beyond what I typically read as a romance, and I loved it!
I could visualize the quaint settings and imagine Gage’s deep, attractive voice. It was an interesting way of learning a little about BDSM through the eyes of a character who was also trying to learn about it. Ivanov was a creep from the get-go, and I could feel myself cringe away, as I am sure Brynne did during every interaction with him.
The author did a great job using dialogue to show what the characters were doing and how various relationships formed. Every good romance has tension between the main characters, and this was no exception. The tension and the allure were potent throughout the book, and I couldn’t put it down.
I hope that the next book is as enticing as this.
If you enjoy a great romance with tension and more, this book is for you.
This is Book 1 in the Dominant Billionaire Series by this author. It is a grumpy vs sunshine, enemies to lovers romance between Brynne and Gage. These flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an intriguing read. What starts out as a tutoring truce turns into something more. It is a captivating love story with drama and steam, sexual tension and chemistry, danger and suspense, and engaging secondary characters. An entertaining page turner.
I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from Grey's Promotions and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
This is a new author with a great beginning, but I am sure there will be more in store for us. Brynne is a writer in dire need of inspiration for the BDSM book she is writing. She applies for a job at Club Dominus expecting to find ideas. What she did not count on was, Gage the owner of the club. He has a strong hand on his business to protect himself and his select clientele. The funny, sweet Brynne will bring him to his knees. Twist and turns and intense chemistry makes this a great debut for this author.
Brynne is an author trying to get the right story in her book. To take this on she goes into the world of BDSM and takes on a job at London's exclusive Club Dominus. She is definitely a girl that knows what she wants for her profession of being a writer. Gage, the owner, takes a liking to Brynne and feels like he has to protect her from others. This book is steamy and one can definitely need a drink while reading this book!!
I bought this book at a romance city book event. I bought it strictly for the billionaire and bdsm story line, and boy did Luce deliver!! While it did take a bit to get through the first through chapters, by the end I was captivated. I couldn’t put it down!
I do wish we got more of Jared. I love him and his relationship with Brynne and well as more time with Patricia! Boy that was 🥵.
This is a good grumpy / sunshine romance. There is Brynne who has always wanted to be a writer like her aunt. She wants to write good steamy BDSM books though she lacks the knowledge. She has a friend who works at club Dominus, and he is able to get her an interview to become a waitress. She is a feisty redhead who wants to submit though is quite the brat. Then there is Gage who owns the sex club and is a Dom. When they meet there is an underlying current of attraction. Will they act upon it? Will it all blow up in their faces? You'll need to read this steamy story to find out.
I voluntarily wrote this review from reading an advanced copy of this book.
