Set in the suburbs of Boston, a group of university students balance creative and professional endeavors on self-inflicted expectations and shaky new beginnings. Members of an emerging rock band, ambitious composition majors, and double threat dancers connected by promises, mistakes, and ever-changing, but always deep feelings.
RE:VILE is a disorderly, character-driven, multiple-point-of-view story of influence, courage, and the role of time.
Fast paced story but the writing is terrible. When you look past the dialogue, the word choices, and the tone, the premise is interesting but not enough to make this worth struggling through. Way too many different characters and POVs, makes it hard to really know any one specific person and to care about them.
Follow a group of university students and their adventures. They will face challenges as they try to get through their time with great grades. A great read I received an advance copy from hidden gems and I loved their interaction
The characters feel natural and multifaceted. The story moves along with good pace and though morally grey at times, it sticks the landing. Overall, this reminds me of early 2010's CW shows. If you liked those for the culture and soundtrack, you'll probably like this too.
