A concise, yet comprehensive (and brutally honest) depiction of US involvement in Central America in the '80s, the international politics that led to those regimes, and the Central American and US religious responses to the refugee crisis - all beginning with testimonios from refugees themselves.

This was a hard read, but necessary.
