A gorgeous, heartwarming and fabulous read
With family dramas, romance - and some greed!
A fantastic setting and delightful island community
Make this a great read, I'm sure you'll agree.
A party on the Greek Island of Vekianos is arranged
A celebration with old friends shouldn't be strange
But it is decades since some were last there
Though keeping in touch maybe showed their care.
Evangelina is retiring from the family hotel now
Leaving it in the hands of her children somehow.
But they have different ideas and plans, too,
Will they be able to sort a way through?
Jenny's Dad, Paul, worked there thirty years ago
So insisted to the party they both should go.
Helping each other sort their lives out once more
And a different lifestyle there to explore.
A story packed with dramas and new chances, too,
Along with a possible romance - or even a few!
I thoroughly enjoyed escaping into it and hope you'll also find
This is the sort of read that happily stays in your mind.

Set in a gorgeous location with wonderful characters, I’ve loved visiting the island of Vekianos. The storyline kept me reading to find out whether Evangelina retires and what her family think of her decision. Filled with families, friendships, second chances and sunshine. The perfect book to escape into on this cold day, would be an ideal holiday read for the poolside.
