This will contain SPOILERS so I remember the story.
Dual Virgins!

No stupid third act break up
Push away from heroine (hated the one thing she said after they first had sex)

HEA
I will keep this short. I hated Dillon. She pushed away too much when Jensen was nothing but sweet to her. He bit her to heal her from her accident injuries as it was the only way to save her life. She felt that he took her choice away and was angry at him in the hospital. When they first gave into each other for the first time and she woke up and told him that sex meant nothing, it made me hateful towards her. It was his first time too and it cut him deeply! Since this short story was really short, the sex came out of nowhere and I had an inkling she would be mean but not like this. I hated her, and even though she regretted being so angry with the only man she could trust who loves her, she tried to redeem herself.
She became caring when Jensen came back with a few injuries and she mended them, she was distraught and hugged him fiercely after he fought the Red Fog pack and was at the hospital, so he was happy that she came around and gave into love. She told him about how she grew up after a good cry in his arms, and told him how she did not trust men because of the men her mother dated, which of course Jensen understood because he is a sweet cinnamon roll. I however refuse to forgive her for saying that their first time together meant nothing. Those words are too hurtful to forgive once uttered, so I left feeling like Jensen deserved better. He was so sweet, so understanding, so caring, devoted, hopeful and willing to do anything for his one and only love. I loved Jenson and my heart hurt for him. Had she not said those words, I would have warmed up to her, but at least Jenson understood her because he is the absolute best, and he was happy she gave into love.
I like the epilogue. It was sweet with them having two daughters and her opening an art shop with her bestie Mabel. I warmed up to her a smidge in the epilogue, but still, she is the worst heroine in the series. Things went by too fast as well.
I cannot in good conscious rate it lower than a 4 because I love first timer couples. I rate it a 3.5 rounded up to a 4. I will not read it again but I am happy it is a DV. Always!

Eu confesso que não estava muito empolgada com essa história, principalmente após ler o livro anterior. É que não curto quando as mocinhas dificultam o romance, e a trama aqui era justamente essa. Apesar de entender o lado de Dillon devido a tudo o que ela passou na sua casa, ainda assim a relutância dela mesmo após todas as explicações me incomodou bastante no livro anterior, por isso pensei que não iria gostar tanto dessa história aqui. Cara, como eu estava enganada!
Eu ainda tive um pouco de dificuldade no começo da história, mas não tanto quanto eu pensei que teria. Fui entendendo melhor a Dillon e compreendendo o seu dilema entre querer confiar e se entregar, mas ter medo de partir seu coração no processo. Jensen sempre foi maravilhoso desde o começo e não demorou muito para que a Dillon percebesse isso também, que ali estava alguém que sempre colocaria as necessidades dela acima de tudo. E Dillon também me conquistou, com sua força e coragem de se entregar e escolher confiar, mesmo com seus medos e receios. Em pouco tempo eu também estava rendida. Que romance lindo esse me saiu! E o que dizer do epílogo e da cena bônus? Nossa, a Dillon conseguiu me fazer chorar, de tão emocionante que foi. Lindo demais, perfeito! Se tinha alguém que merecia encontrar toda essa era ela (e sua amiga Mabel também, no livro anterior). Foi um final perfeito para a série, melhor do que eu poderia ter imaginado. Saved By My Mate is Book 6 of the Twisted Oak Pack: First Responders series. It's a short and steamy, instalove with black cat and golden retriever vibes, OTT, fated mates, double virgin, curvy girl gets her wolf shifter romance. Dillon is a sassy and curvy girl who was traveling with her BFF when they got in a horrible car accident. Jensen is a hunky EMT and wolf shifter. He pulled Dillon from the wreckage and knew she was his fated mate. She was on the verge of death so he bit her to save her. When she wakes up in the hospital, she is upset that Jensen didn't give her a choice. Dillon was a tough cookie to crack. She has a horrible upbringing and has trouble trusting men. Jensen is determined to show up for her until she gives in. The chemistry between these two was intense and the ending was happy once Dillon let her walls down. I loved this series.

This is book number 6 of the Twisted Oak Pack: First Responders series and focuses on Jensen and Dillon. Dillon had a rough upbringing and decided to leave her hometown with her best friend Mabel. While on their journey, Dillon and Mabel get into a really bad car accident that leaves Dillon with life threatening injuries. Jensen is one of the first responders to come to the scene and he immediately knows that Dillon is his fated mate and he also knows that she's dying from her injuries. He does what he has to in order to save her but he has a heck of a time trying to convince Dillon that she's the one for him. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

I was so excited for this book. I was so hoping for enemies to lovers vibe. I did not get this from the book. For this being the final book, I was disappointed. I would have loved a little more with this book. I did not really feel the connection for the characters and I did not feel an ending for the so called war. I was so looking forward for the ending of this series and I just felt it fell flat. I wish there was a little more detail for the supposed war and a more on the characters connection. Sad ending for me but all other books were really good.

This is the last book in Twisted Oak Pack First Responders series. Tropes: fated mates, wolf shifter, and dual virgins. An instalove novella with fated mates between a wolf shifter and a human FMC. I was waiting for Jensen 's and Dillon's story and it didn't disappoint. Jensen was an amazing mate . He was attentive, protective, and gave Dillon space for her to decide what she wanted. Good conclusion to the series.

I enjoyed this - the romance is such a sweet story about Dillon escaping from her small town and neglectful mother then finding her cinnamon roll hero. The Red Fog plotline was gripping as well.
My only teeny, tiny, miniscule peeve is that it would have been nice for Jensen to occasionally refer to Dillon by her name instead of constantly calling her his mate.
All-in-all a lovely read and a great end to this series. I'm fast becoming a fan of Ms Wilder.

This shifter romance is the final book in the Twisted Oak Pack: First Responders. As a paramedic Jansen attends Dillon and Mabel's car accident, as a wolf shifter he never thought that this would be how he found his mate! Dillon is near death and to save her life he give her the mate bite. When Dillon wakes she's shocked to first see the bite and then learn about shifters. She's understandably upset and turns on him. This novella is really well written with a great plot! I loved every minute of it!!!.

I have been waiting for this story and Luna gave me just what I needed. There was drama, spice, shifters and fated mates.
Dillion is closed off, she's had a bad childhood. She doesn't trust easy and when she's in a car wreck and Jensen marks her to save her life...well she doesn't take it very well. She gets mad at him..
Jensen just wanted to protect his mate, he wasn't thinking about how it could upset her. Now he has to convince her that he's not a bad guy, he's the love of her life and that she can trust him....all while trying to protect the pack...the man is busy!

Jensen is an EMT who responds to a car crash finds his mate. She's near death so he bites her to save her life. When Dillon wakes and finds out she was bitten to save her she is furious. Dillon has trust issues and feels her choice was taken from her. Loved this great paranormal story. This is the last in the Twisted Oak Pack and I loved Dillon and Jensen.

Dillon woke up in the hospital after a car crash that involved her best friend Mabel. Waking up to a strange man inform her he was her mate, a wolf shifter and their mate with a bond that she had no say in. Jensen mate bonded to save Dillon’s life and he would do it again since she’s his fated mate. The road to a happy mate bond is not easy but beautiful to see. Loved it!!.

Luna always writes the best stories with characters that will steal your heart. This book is no different than any others I have read. When I started this book, I was in love from the start to the finish of this book!! I absolutely love these books even thow I don’t read a lot paranormal books. But this author has a way of making me come back every single time. Definitely pick up this fantastic series. Happy reading

Holy heat wave this story is hot!!!! Fated mates, car accident, life threating injuries as well as confusion. You wake up after being unconscious to discover you have a bite mark on your shoulder. The EMT in your hospital rooms starts telling you about shifters and fated mates. You are sure he's crazy until he strips and shifts in front of you. You are still angry he took your choice away from you when he bit you. Great story, amazing characters and all the feels.

Saved by my Mate by Luna Wilder is a quick romantic bite, I mean, read. It's a standalone, (within a series), shifter romance with a HEA. This is the perfect quick romance that can be read in about an hour or so when you just need a little goodness in your life. The characters are lovely, and the story is well told.

I liked how he manages to convince her to trust and love him in return. I'm glad that the rival pack has been dealt with.

She felt that she had no choice when he claimed her. But a horrible accident and her unresponsive and not waking up made him make a choice. Heartfelt even if she is stubborn. The more you know the more you understand and she's not listening. He loves her. Cheering for the underdog and his wolf! Decent read.
