Frosted Torment by E.L Valentine is book one in the Marked Mortals Sage. Oh my gosh I absolutely loved this book! Once I started I could not put it down; it has everything that a great fantasy book should have. It was the perfect blend of a slow burn meets fast pace. My favorite aspect about this book is the spin the author puts on the characters. Noe goes through struggles that can be understood and even sympathized with. I did enjoy how strong willed and stubborn she could be. There were a couple times during the story I had to re-read a few sentences because I felt like I missed something. Nothing too distracting though or anything to take away the awesomeness of the story. I will admit that I wish there was a little more details to some of the characters but that’s just a personal want. I thought the writing was great and it was unique that it captured my attention and kept it to the end. I will mention that this book does end on a cliffhanger and I 100% need the next book, I’m eager to read more from this world. This being the author’s debut makes me excited to see what’s next to come. I highly recommend this book, it’s an addicting read. Definitely a two thumbs up!

Go read this book immediately!
About a month ago my fiancé saw this book at a signing in barnes and noble. We had never heard of this book but I love all the Sarah J Mass books and he thought I’d like frosted torment. I just started last night and couldn’t put the book down. I finished it in less than 24 hours and every page was a new discovery that had me freaking out. It captivated me in every way possible and was by far the best book I’ve read all year. I can’t wait for the next book to be released.

Absolutely loved this book from the world building to the characters to the found family. Noa's life has not been easy and has been filled with struggle with some hard losses but in this book she is finding strength she didn't know she had. I absolutely love Baz and I want to see more of him. This book had some surprises I was not expecting and I cannot wait for the next book to release this year. I really enjoyed this story!

Took me a bit to get sucked in to it but once it grabbed ahold it wouldn't let go! I really enjoyed this book and am impatiently waiting for the next one. Heads up, ends on a HUGE cliffhanger 😯!
