Stepping within the mysteries of perception, we find three interwoven but separate powers of consciousness, awareness and emptiness. Through developing and refining these powers we have the opportunity to enter new ways of living. Empowering, refining and exciting, this book is perfect to all seekers who until now believed that there was little to be found in the one that is seeking. Through these fascinating methods, we find we are able to be not just a human doing, not just a human being, but truly a human living.
A graduate in English Literature from Oxford, Georgi has been a traveller through various schools of life: among them Catholicism, transcendental meditation, feminist psychoanalysis, Jewish conversion and transpersonal psychology. Putting experiential authenticity before form, she is presently leading others into an exploration of perception and the realization of the windows of perception: consciousness, awareness & emptiness.
This exploration is described and formulated in the book I AM HERE – Opening the Windows to Life & Beauty. The process through emptiness described in I AM HERE led to Georgi's second book, which delves into the nature of illusion and how to find freedom in human form. Nondual Therapy: The Psychology of Awakening offers a depth of exploration into the human psyche and true nature, that takes into account advanced science and includes a compendium of 35 emotional contractions in the personality. The books also includes techniques and contemplations for self-development and therapeutic practice.
Bart & Georgi presently hold international retreats in the UK, US, Netherlands and Israel. They also share the teaching of the Healing Principle – a 7 year education in spiritual healing and psychology. Mother and Father to 10 children, they are presently based in Israel.
I was attracted to I AM HERE after reading many of Georgi's posts through Facebook. Having grown up with hippy parents, my spiritual life was pretty much dead. I have seen all the soup kitchens inner growth and spirituality has to offer - and seen through them. But this is different. I AM HERE doesn't pretend anything. It is quite the opposite of giving beliefs or promising outcomes. What it does do is show you how to open the windows into the internal inquiry of being here - quite empirically. It guides you directly through experience of what is "real" in the world of perception - even forewarning of where we can get stuck. Nothing is prescribed - but a map is given which is of immense benefit. I AM HERE brought me the means to find freedom from much of the unconscious programming which had been determining how I experienced life - including unconscious "spiritual" programming. For those who have the responsibility and commitment to really go the core of what it means to be here, alive and human - beyond any mental fixtures - I AM HERE is deeply empowering. I will keep this book with me because I know that at any time I can reach for it for guidance.
I really wanted to like this, but got frustrated by all the conceptualisation. Subtly different meanings ascribed to commonly used terms compounded my frustration.
