Awesome ab workout routines! This book is full of different kinds of ab exercises that hit all of the different abdominal muscles. Some of them take special equipment (swiss ball, bench, gym equipment, etc.) BUT many of them do not. Each day that you do a workout, there is a list of 3 to 4 exercises to do with page numbers listed that refer you to the directions on how to do them properly. This is an awesome feature because you do not have to always go to the index, search the name and then flip back to the page needed. This alone saves me a ton of time while doing the workouts. If per chance there is an exercise listed that involves equipment it is easy to find a substitute exercise that will work the same ab muscles because at the front of the book there is a list of the different ab muscles and then a corresponding list of the exercises that you can do to target those specific muscles. When I make a substitution I jot it in the book and then the next time I see that exercise I know exactly what substitution to make.

Each day there is a new set of exercises to do so you are not repeating the same things over and over. This keeps the workouts from getting boring. The program is set up so that you repeat week 1 the second week and you repeat week 3 the fourth week, etc. But I believe there are 8 weeks total so if you follow the program the way it is written you will get 16 weeks of ab work.

The workouts themselves only take 20-25 minutes three times a week. No my stomach doesn't look like the one on the cover of the book, that would involve eating a pretty strict diet. However, I can tell a huge difference in my abdominal strength after doing these workouts for 5 weeks.

I am so happy with this book that I am looking forward to getting "The Body Sculpting Bible For Women" to see if I like the workouts in it as well as I do in this one.
