If you enjoy reading church history but struggle with the often dense factual presentation, this is an excellent choice. This book very adeptly switches back and forth between past revival history and the personal anecdotes of one family who partners with God in miraculous ways to see transformation in their city. The glimpses into the historical revivals are not intended to be comprehensive. But rather, they reveal how incredibly detailed the Father is in the stories He weaves through the lives of those surrendered to Him. Bedros also breaks up the narratives by expounding on the scriptures in such a faith-inspiring way, which also aids the quick pacing of the book. I found myself leaning in for the next testimony of God's faithfulness manifested through His desire to partner with us. Inspiring!
I was very privileged to be a part of several of these prayer gatherings in Geneva. But this book is not just relevant for those connected to this ministry, or to other prayer ministries. It is relevant for anyone who desires to walk in a deeper level of faith, to believe God for the impossible, and to partner with Him in His business of restoring and redeeming all things.
I liked this book because it gives a testimony of authentic faith, hearing God give you an impossible task and obeying in faith to se it accomplished. I would recommend this book to all people of faith who are encouraged by testimonies of faith.
