Eddie has my heart, but Jeremiah’s the one holding my hand.
It starts at my sister's wedding. I’m dancing with Jeremiah, the man who’s been there through every tear and late-night call. He’s sweet and all in. Then there’s Eddie, watching me from across the room, the man I’ve loved for years but who keeps pulling away.
Just as I think I’ve made my choice, Jeremiah reveals something about Eddie that shakes everything I thought I knew. Now, I’m caught between two one fighting for my love, the other proving he deserves it.
One love will win, but first, it’s about to get messy.
This version of Touched Down 2 includes an extended epilogue guaranteed to deliver all the feels!
This girl loves a good book--especially books that suck you into the pages and take you to new worlds, providing a much needed break from the everyday hustle. I'm obsessed with happily ever after and feel good romances that serve up a strong dose of reality.
This love triangle is exciting to read. I read it originally in Kindle Vella. The story of Eddie's tortured heartbreak as a result of losing his wife and child can only leave you with feelings of sympathy and understanding. However, the hot and cold emotional rollercoaster he put Jasmine through, made you want her to walk away to something lighter that brought her joy and put a smile in her face. That desire had me cheering for Jeremiah and Jasmine. Jeremiah was the fun, loving, non-serious relationship that Jasmine needed at the time. It wasn't until both men realized they had serious feelings for Jasmine, which caused them to act fools competing for her attention and affection.
The struggle for all three was real. Hard and deep felt discussions were had, truths and revelations were revealed, and a lot of heartache and pain was flushed out throughout the story, including who was responsible for Eddie's late wife and child's deaths.
As deep as this story got, there was a real light that shined through for all involved. Not all characters had a happy ending, but the ending created a clear chance for new beginnings.
The epilogue is a great addition to the Vella story. Shani provided resolution for a few other characters that were included in the series. I would highly encourage anyone interested in this story to read the first book Touched Down.
I really tried to like this book, but I just couldn’t. It jumped around and at some points made no sense. Jasmine went from locking her keys in the car and Jeremiah taking her home to Eddie texting he needs her and she grabs her keys and jumps in the car to go him. The author also describes a player as an offensive lineman, but he practiced as a wide receiver. If you know football, you know this is laughable since the positions have two different body types! This author needs to do more research and get better editing.
This picks up where Touched Down left off and does not disappoint. The book highlights the importance of self love, healing and fighting for what’s important. I love how the couples supported each other and the overall camaraderie. It was a sweet story with lots of important messages. Well done!
Great story, to say that I wasn't surprised at how this triangle unraveled would be an understatement... To see Eddie finally get Closure regarding Alexandria and the baby was gratifying.. Jasmine making up her mind finally, and the retreat.. Loved it all
Jasmine was in love with Eddie Richards but he was dealing with the loss of his wife and unborn child ftom three years ago. He loves Jasmine too but the demons in his mind blamed himself for his wife and child's deaths. We wanted to give her his heart but he felt he was betraying his wife's memory. The mixed messages sent Jasmine to another man. She was so confused about who to choose, but by talking to her sister, she figured it out herself. I think she made the right decision. All she needed was for Eddie to say " I need you" and she was right there, never leaving his side.
Moey Dash and Ambrosia got just what they deserved. With Eddie's mind cleared from his wife and child's death, his heart was open to a HEA with Jasmine.
I enjoyed reading this book. Moey and Ambrosia were sickened with their mess. I wanted to beat them down myself. My heart actually went out to Jeremiah. I was hoping he would find his true love. Maybe that's best for the next book in the series. My only problem with the story was the couples' retreat. I sort of lost interest until Jeremiah and Ambrosia arrived. Richard and Monica were interesting too. Monica had enough of Richard. It would be interesting to read how they turn out too.
