59-year-old Julia Knight is officially divorced, lost and the talk of the town.
Everything changed when her husband decided he’d rather be married to her sister instead. So when her best friend Chloe suggests they move to Rosemary Beach and start their childhood dream business of running a bakery, the timing felt right.
But Rosemary Beach, the Floridian beach town where Julia grew up, has plenty waiting for her, including something that will change her entire existence. Among cobblestone walkways, and white sand beaches, Julia faces her fears, rediscovers love, and faces her fears head on. Maybe this second chance will give her the sense of purpose that’s been missing for so long.
Visit the beautiful beach town of Rosemary Beach, where friendship, hope, love, and wine are plentiful. This is Book 3 of 6 in a small-town women’s fiction series, perfect for readers who like easy beach reads and a little bit of mystery!
I finally figured out the concept behind these stories. I like the idea of a bakery, a couple of older woman experiencing a life change, still interested in having romantic relationships. But what is intriguing me is that these books are a series of short stories with a cliffhanger at the end of each and so you are drawn to the next short story. Kind of like a TV series where one episode follows after another. I like a short story that can be read in one or two settings, so these are great and also interesting. It is a fun concept!
Sorry. I don't mind suspending belief a bit when reading a novel. However, a sudden, complete reversal of personality and actions of a character does not work for me. Even if the plan is to change a "good" guy to a "bad" one, a gradual transition would be much more believable.
The bakery is coming along nicely and the women have made a few new friends in this book. Again, my only wish is that the book wasn't broken down into six installments. I look forward to seeing what happens with the mess that was left for them on the grand opening.
I really enjoyed book 3 in this series, Julia and Chloe just seem to be having every obstacle thrown in their way trying to get their bakery opened. I'm looking forward to reading book 4 in this series and will definitely recommend this book to everyone.
Julia and Chloe continue to get the bakery ready for the grand opening. Meanwhile, Julia needs to decide if Scott or Bruce is the right person for her. Chloe is warming up to Dan.
Umm, Scott? Gives me the ick the more I learn about him. Hoping Julia doesn’t give in and let him have another chance because there’s something off about him! But Bruce and Daniel!? Swoon - I hope they’re innocent.

The ladies work diligently to get the bakery up and running with the help of old friends and new friends.... and then they are sabotaged.......... Another page turner!!!
