It was an Amazing read... you cannot skip a single page as long as you are interested in reading contemporary fiction with a philosophical and spiritual angle. You will love the character of Kapardi and even Shazia who has a transformation... Ramamurthy's storytelling is amazing and he has an understanding of the art of fiction. I was amazed by the twists that author has been able to integrate with the storyline.

I absolutely loved Kapardi. Thrive beyond being a typical thriller because it forces readers to contemplate beyond entertainment. The combination of historical aspects with mythical elements and thrilling elements immediately caught my attention when I first started reading the book. An ancient temple near the Himalayas contains secrets that threaten to alter the state of the world throughout the tale. The ISI organization from Pakistan wants to learn about these secrets while an underground Indian group called the ‘Sarvagni Crusade’ defends their protection. A youthful CBI official winds up involved in this conflict when he encounters it unexpectedly while undergoing a journey of both excitement and new understanding.The part I liked best about the story was how Kolhapur incorporated mythological elements into the narrative. The book presents mythology with the same life and authenticity that stands apart from standard thriller practices. Through his descriptions of rituals and hymns along with outdated traditions the author revealed the vast knowledge our history contains. The book presents environmental ideas by demonstrating how ancient rituals linked strongly with natural elements.Each character in the story appeared genuine and characteristic. From the beginning the main character stands separate from mainstream society yet through time he merges with an extensive network. His change occurred progressively and organically throughout the story which I appreciated because he refused to play the traditional hero by instead showing his growth process. The antagonists presented an intriguing approach because instead of being evil for no reason they revealed reasons which made the story intriguing to readers.Among my few points of criticism the book contained a few difficult to understand mythological references. I had to reduce my reading speed because the mythological references required my complete attention. The difficult reading added an interesting layer depth to the entire book.People who love intelligent thrillers should make Kapardi a necessary addition to their reading list. This powerful experience draws readers deep into the story through a mix of excitement and depth so that they keep contemplating its ideas ring in their heads well after reading the book's conclusion.
