Peter Parker was a normal teenager until a bite from an irradiated spider granted him incredible arachnid-like powers. Living by the mantra -- with great power comes great responsibility, Parker donned the costume of Spider-Man and dedicated his life to fighting evil wherever it may lurk.A maniacal manifestation of Norman Osborn's chemical-induced insanity, the Green Goblin has done more than any other villain to wreck the web-slinger's world. He has consistently terrorized Peter Parker's friends and loved ones, bringing a personal element to an already dangerous confrontation. Once believed dead, Norman has recently resurfaced, more deadly than ever before.

Delves a little into the backstory of Norman Osborne. Interesting enough. What is more enjoyable though is the latter part of the tale with a fight between the Green Goblin and Spider-man. Overall a decent read. Nothing groundbreaking.
Madman Norman Osborne has targetted Peter Parker and sought to drive him into madness. There is a certain familiarity about this Goblin vs. Spidey-- way too similar to the relationship between the Joker and Batman, especially in the movie versions. The Goblin sees himself as the opposite of Spidey and trying to drive Spidey into madness, to mold him into an heir to evil.
Pretty much a rehash of the Batman-Joker mythos with different costumes.
