Kai Lesy thrives on abundance SO naturally menage and reverse harems with a multiple over-the-top alphas is her jam.
Outside of writing her next masterpiece, Kai loves baking an obnoxious amount of cookies, playing with her French bull dog, Hugo, and writing about herself in the third person - because it feels fancy.

DNF at 34% It’s like the author wrote different parts of the book about totally different people and then just threw it all together. For example, at one point it’s said that Melissa’s dad ran off when she was 5 and that her mom died 4 years ago. Then later she was supposedly orphaned at the age of 2 and bounced around foster care. WTF, those are 2 very different back stories. As soon as I got to that part I just gave up. There were several minor inconsistencies before that and I doubt it gets any better. And just like all of Kai’s books, there is absolutely zero discussion about birth control, which is beyond infuriating.
Melissa has been incarcerated for three of a five year sentence for a crime she unknowingly committed. A model prisoner, she’s able to sign up for a work release program and finds herself working at a ranch as a cook.
The ranch so happens to be owned by three brothers and of course they are devastatingly good looking and very sweet and have their eyes set on her.
The boys’ Aunt Darla has given her approval and insists they make a move so I’m sure she knows their … appetite for sharing.
Colton is the first to do just that and he’s there for Melissa when she has a panic attack. He’s a genuinely good man.
She hasn’t been at the ranch for a month and they file the paperwork to keep her there once her sentence is over. Talk about putting the cart before the horse.
Naturally Jake is going to show up and cause a bunch of trouble when things are going so well for everyone. Of course.
Melissa tries to run and of course Aunt Darla is on the case.
The way the guys reactions is a little bit inappropriate for the situation and the spicy scenes are starting to get weird, repetitive and just thrown in all over the place as an unnecessary filler.
The cartel have delivered their first warning and Ramon saw Melissa in person. She’s bottling so much inside her naturally her anxiety is gong to come back with a vengeance.
Jake kidnaps Melissa, shoving her into a trunk but doesn’t search her first. Where the eff is her phone?
This book is fraught with inconsistencies.
Aside from twins being passed down relies on the mother’s side of the family, I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t be able to tell who the father was considering the Avery men are twins.
All in all the books plot was okay. Execution could have been better. I was expecting more from the cartel given it was such a huge part of the story up until the final confrontation. The title is Christmas with Three Cowboys but there isn’t much Christmas, they decorate and exchange gifts but I thought there would be more.
The spicy scenes fell flat, too repetitive, too lacking and often in inappropriate situations.
Would I read it again? No. Would I recommend to a friend? I don’t think so.
Melissa is 3 years into her 5-year sentence when she gets offered a chance to serve the remainder at a farm as a cook.
Colton and Ethan are twins who run their farm with their brother Mitch, Aunt Darla, and a few ranch hands. They all realise once they get to know Melissa, the conviction doesn't sit right with them. Eventually, Melissa opens up and explains what happened. At the same time, the men and Melissa are getting closer, when her past catches up with her again.
Melissa wants to serve out the rest of her sentence at this lovely peaceful, beautiful farm, with these people who treat her more like family. When Jake shows up with an ultimatum, Melissa is backed into a corner, what does she do, where does she go, she can't pull this lovely family into her drama.
The brothers are going to protect Melissa at all costs, she is theirs, their feelings are getting stronger, and want her in their future. When the brothers get unexpected help, they are grateful. It's not only Melissa who is in danger but the town as well.
The family gets pulled into this web of lies and deceit. Melissa is in the centre of it all by falling for the wrong man, this man who has used her, thrown her to the wolves, to cover his own back. Jake will use anyone and any means necessary to point the blame in every direction but his own. But is his web of lies now disintegrating, making him an even bigger threat to Melissa?.

In this book we meet Melissa Carson, Colton & Ethan Avery, & Mitch Teller. Melissa has gone to jail for the last 3 years of her 5 year sentence. Since she was a model prisoner though she is get a chance to work on the outside for the last 2 years of her sentence. She knows she didn't commit the crime she is convicted of but she can't seem to get anyone to believe her. Colton, Ethan, & Mitch were all in the military together but after losing a bunch of men as well as their parents. So they come home to take care of the farm and spend some time healing. The thing is each of the guys can tell if someone is lying to them. There is something about Melissa that has them believing there is more to her story. Can they all find a HEA or will her ex who sent her to jail in the first place make sure that never happens?
Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
When Melissa was framed by her boyfriend and sent to prison she thought she would spend the next 5 years in a cell. But when she is given the chance to work off her last 2 years as a cook on a cattle ranch she never expected what came next. Ethan, Colton, Mitchell and their aunt Darla think something fishy happened when she was convicted but she won't tell them anything. But when the boys start feeling more for her than as just an employee they know they need to find out the truth. And when first her ex shows up and then the cartel he works for they realize it's life or death for the women they are falling in love with. Incredible characters that take the story in a smooth transition from start to finish. Great book.

Melissa has been duped by her ex and made the scapegoat for his drug trafficking. When she’s given an opportunity for a fresh start she jumps at it. Ethan, Colton and Mitch are the ranch owners she ends up working for and from day one there’s no denying the chemistry between them and Melissa. When she’s gives in to them she finds happiness until her past threatens to ruin her future. The way the cowboys are determined to keep her safe and solve the problems presented by her ex is dreamy. This book is sweet and spicy with lots of danger and intrigue. It’s got all the feels covered to make this book impossible to put down. I loved Christmas with Three Cowboys: A Contemporary Reverse Harem Romance. Melissa was wrongly convicted but no one listened until she was part of a work release program. She would be working on a ranch with Colton, Ethan and Mitch. They share everything these brothers. Melissa has a hard time believing what they say but she comes to trust them and knows they will protect her. Danger is coming for her, her past not staying in the last. They are former military, they will protect what is theirs and burn the town down to keep her safe. I loved the story and the characters. Who wouldn’t want three hot cowboys keeping you safe. I would definitely recommend this book.

I had high hopes for this book. And I was sad that I walked away feeling unfulfilled, because the story itself has potential. The author glosses over a lot of little details that make a book a great read. It’s clear the author can write and can write well, but I feel like these stories (other of her similar) are getting the short end of the stick.
Reverse harem is hot, but when the sex is glossed over and details removed to the point you have to go back and reread there’s a problem.
The author is missing basic necessities to her books—timelines, chapter breaks, section breaks, character development. I get that a story like this one is supposed to be a hot, quick read. But if you’re going to do it, then do it well.

Kai Lesy is one of my favorite authors and as soon as I see her name on a book, I know I will want to read it without reading the covers. This book was no exception. I liked that the story was different from the other reverse harem books she has, and the story is worth the read. Framed for a crime she did not commit Melissa is serving a five-year sentence. After 3 years in prison, she is given the opportunity to serve out the last two years on ranch working as a cook. Throw in three handsome cowboys and let the feelings grow.

Melissa picked the wrong boyfriend and paid for it with her freedom and record. Now she is entered into a work release program. Colton, Ethan and Mitch are ex Rangers who share the responsibilities of the families ranch. A new cook is needed and they want to give back to the community. So a convict who needs a hand is their choice. Only problem is that the three never expected a beautiful curvy woman to walk through the door. Melissa is scared to trust and her past seems to have returned with a vengeance.

i can’t get over the fact that they are brothers, which idek is the problem because i read a book by someone else called Corrupt Vows or something where they were brothers with one girl and i didn’t get the creeps from that one, but that might be because the fmc didn’t get PREGNANT
nah cause like how do you fucking explain to your kid “yeah, your uncle is also you dad because he’s related to your other dad” or or what if it’s that phenomenon where two different sperms fertilize two diff eggs so now you have twins with two different dads. what are you gonna tell ‘em? “yeah so… y’all are twins, but you’re also cousins.”
Melissa went to prison for a crime she didn’t commit. Her boyfriend at the time set her up. She got a five year sentence. She served three years and then was offered to participate in a program to help her get a job when her sentence was done. She never saw how it would change her life. Colton, Ethan, and Mitch are brothers and live their lives doing everything together. They never thought they would meet a woman like Melissa. Can they clear her name and make the one who should have paid, pay? Can they do it and not lose their hearts in the process? Come on in and find out.
Melissa gets a chance to serve the last two years of her sentence working on a ranch. Melissa sentenced to five years for a crime she had not committed but after three years she is offered the chance to serve the last two years working on a ranch. When she arrives she is shocked to find the ranch is run by three sexy brothers. She is given the role of cook for the ranch but finds herself attracted to all of them.

Some of the things that happened were implausible, even for a fiction book. I was happy that Jake got his just desserts. Sad about the two ranch hands, and Louisa was just a throw-in i could have done without. I'm disappointed that she did not sue for being in prison for three years. And when she was rescued from Jake by the guys and the cartel-- why didn't they leave prior to them taking care of him? Why stand and watch!! Darla was my favorite character of the book and it was nice to have her and sammy together in the end.
My first book by this author but as a reverse harem junkie I have some on my TBR. I’m also not big on holiday themed books either but took the leap and pleased I did. There is so much pain in the characters past and Melissa’s past catches up with her in a deadly way which I really wasn’t expecting. I like it took me by surprise. Will definitely look into more if their books.

She was sentenced to 5 years in prison for a crime she did not commit, now she has been accepted to serve her last 2 years at a ranch as a cook. She plans to put her head down and do her job, she does not want any trouble. What she did not expect was to be attractive to all three of the brothers that run the ranch or the trouble that shows up at the front door.

Wow I thought I had a terrible ex but then I read this book and this guy is so much worse. Its hard for her to let her guard down after everything and every one has done nothing but let her down. These men will do anything and everything to keep her safe and loved. The things that they have to go thru to get to the other side is sad and scary. I would love to see what the future holds for them.

This book 17 in The Lucky Lady Reverse Harems Book Series has a Cowboy Reverse Harem Romance Story, a well-crafted world, and intriguing characters. These characters have unique personalities, complicated histories and believable interactions. This story has an innocent female who served time for a crime she did not commit, a fresh start on a Nebraska Ranch, 3 cowboys, snowed in, an Ex with dangerous ties, pregnancy twists, turns, danger, chemistry and HEA.
This boon had me hooked. I love RH books and besides Melissa getting 3 loyal men to love and love her back, they helped her prove her innocence.
These guys took on a drug cartel and in a way won. I hated what happened to Kyle and Jason and wished that could’ve been left out of the book, but I guess they were still honored.
Can’t wait for more from this author!.
