JADE is Wayne Denning's new military thriller and the first book of The Crystal Trilogy. The Trilogy chronicles the story of Royal Australian Naval Officer Michael Willis. Set in Sydney, Australia, the first book follows Michael Willis as he returns home early from a six month deployment and finds himself in the frame for his wife's murder.

Wayne is an ex-Defence member himself, having served for twelve years with the Royal Australian Navy and the Royal Australian Air Force, specialising in radar, sonar and electronic warfare. After travelling the world extensively, he settled with his family and spent several years in Central Queensland. Wayne now resides in Brisbane, Australia with his wife and two teenage children. His time is quite haphazardly divided between writing and editing, wrestling with his two dogs, (who have no regard for serenity) and discovering the intricacies of social media. He is quite reclusive and is rarely seen on the writer's circuit, but his passion is evident in his writing. His early literary idols were James Herbert, Stephen R. Donaldson and Stephen King.
