This is a sexy little story. It is quite short so I can't say too much in my review without giving it away. I will say that I was very entertained and can't wait to read the next in the series.

This is a true GFY story, so if you're a fan, you'll love this one.

Brad dated Melissa for four months so it was finally time to meet the family. Sebastian, Melissa´s brother feels immediately drawn to Brad and he acts upon it. That was a little weird for me….I mean imagine you come to a family meet and got quite aggressively kissed by the brother…too rash. Anyway it confused the living hell out of Brad. Why? Altough he was quite shocked by Sebastian´s behaviour it did not left him cold.

I really liked that you got to see how Brad struggles with his thoughts and lust he has and feels toward Sebastian. He is looking for answers-is he gay, bi, what should he do now….and so on. I loved the part where Brad was checking out other guys just to see if he feels any attraction to them. Since this book is from Brad´s point of view you can expierence right along with him his way through his feelings.

Sebastian on the other side…um…every time he sees Brad he took from Brad what he wanted. It is all consensual, mind you but it was a little too much for me. He redeemed himself a little bit at the end of the book but nonetheless I would have liked some scenes from Sebastian´s point of view for a better understanding of his character.

Melissa, the girlfriend, ice princess, bitch….whatever you get my meaning. Of course it´s simpler for the break up if you don´t sympathise with the character. What confused me though was that Brad wanted to be friends with her. Seriously, why? If you can´t stand the other person you don´t want to be friends with them. Well me at least, I wouldn’t.

Two other things bothered me a little in this story. The first was the first and only sexual encounter between Brad and Sebastian. That felt, for me like they had to work off a list of things they should do in the bedroom. It was way too much for me. The second thing is, I really want to know how Brad and Sebastian´s families are going to react to them being together. So dear author, is there another book coming with those two? I hope so.

Overall it was a nice story with a real gay for you theme. So if you like this, this book may be for you.

What bugged me the most? When we get to the actual sex! It's Brad's FIRST time doing anything besides the previous kissing. Not a whole lot of prep...slick it up and stick it in.. oh but I hesitated and let him get some adjustment so that makes it all good. End Sarcasm. Kind of ironic that the stuff leading up to penetration actually wasn't that bad.

Oh, and did anything else bother me? Why yes, it did.. thanks for asking. Within moments of meeting, Sebastian is gearing up to all steam ahead. Flirting and seeing what kind of reaction, yes I can see and deal. Blatantly coming on to your sister's boyfriend, who has given NO hint of interest towards males in general or this male in particular was kind of pushing it. Plus, Brad spent an aweful lot of time obsessing over a kiss where there was no inclination of arousal (that we know of) at the time OF the kiss in the water. I would think THAT would freak him out, besides getting kissed by a guy unexpectedly.

The best thing I can say about this story is that it had no spelling errors or obvious editing issues. There was never any reason given for Sebastian to come on to his sister's boyfriend within minutes of meeting him. Honestly, it was kind of rapey. Brad is saying no. And not just his mouth says no but his eyes say yes. Sebastian essentially assaulted him and then stalked him. As for Brad: I love a good GFY story but an author has to lay a little groundwork for it. Brad was straight and then his girlfriend's douchy brother made a pass at him and he decided he liked peen. I didn't buy it. I guess I shouldn't have expected much from this story but to top it all off, the sex scene wasn't even that hot. It sounded pretty uncomfortable for Brad. Sebastian, this is for you: try a little foreplay and lube next time.

A Joyfully Jay review.

4.5 stars

The story is told from Brad’s point of view as he spends the next week having a sexual and identity crisis. He goes through a range of emotions as he attempts to come to terms with his attraction to Sebastian. The leap was not easy for him and I was able to feel him struggling to understand what was going on as Sebastian’s blue eyes and the feel of Sebastian’s lips continue to haunt him.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting too much from this story. Only fifty six pages long, written by a new to me author and published by a publishing company that I’d never heard of. Turns out, I may have been a little too quick to judge. This book actually pleasantly surprised me and I’m glad I took the time to read it.
