This was a fantastic story about Riley and team looking who is killing people and figuring it out and also looking for a kidnapper who took her niece and not knowing where she is with lots of suspense and action. Thank you for this awesome story.
Oh my gosh! Best/worst cliffhanger EVER! And the case Riley had, never saw that resolution coming. Sure hope the next book comes out in a hurry! There are plenty of clues, and some that don’t fit, making Riley’s cases make your head spin. Pins and needles!
This series is just so addictive, I haven't been able to put it down 😃. Non-stop action, intense situations, gut wrenching emotions, nasty Bad people and interesting storyline 😉. Thanks again A.J., I've been up for two days with little sleep because I truly can't put it down 🤓.
Logan is definitely upset that Jamie took Dani. The FBI is called in to handle the search. Detective Riley has her and Zelena stressed over 3 bodies that were killed in the same manner.. Next thing you know more bodies keep showing up. The death of a husband and wife was connected to their son who got everything he wanted and yet he beat and bullied them. They wanted him out of the house. He needed to go to college or get a job. That wasn't in the cards. He had everything he wanted and was not giving it up so he killed them. The other bodies lead to finding similar deaths. The hunt was on for the real killer. Meanwhile a clue leads them to a house where someone saw her. There was a lot of blood. Stay tuned for the next book.
This series has frustrated me in a good way. The main character Riley is exciting to follow and I like all the supporting characters as well. Its hard to put the book down because I want to keep reading. The frustrating part is how each book ends on a cliffhanger so you have to read the next book right away. I just finished book four and the next one in the series doesn’t come out until the fall. I’m going to have to read one of her other series until it comes out. I can’t wait to keep reading about Riley’s adventures.
I don't know. This one was just not really it. It was more boring than the first 3. This one moved slower, it had good intentions, but with Riley having her own case besides trying to find Dani was just kind of a filler. The ending was the really only hook in the entire story. I really hoped that this story would show Jamie's perspective about taking Dani, but there was nothing from her side at all. Hopefully this next book is more about Jamie and Dani and where they were off to and what is going through Dani's mind.

This is a continuation of the previous series, and the author knows how to bring you in and, as usual, at the end is a cliffhanger and you will want to read the next book to see what happens. We know that Jamie has run off with Dani, and we also know she killer several people in the process. Logan is grief stricken and wants to find her before she becomes another victim. Riley has her hands filled with a couple of deaths that have been occurring in the woods and trying to find out who is doing this.
Lots of typos, repetitive sentences, and grammatical errors. Made it hard to follow in some sections throughout the book. Story was OK, but some parts were not believable. For example, the FBI agent confiding in Logan about his agent partner’s personal situation. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll read the next book in the series. I’m just a little disappointed.
Riley Quinn is back! When hikers and campers are killed in similar ways, Riley and Zelina are tasked with putting the puzzle together to find the killer. As the crime scenes get weirder, this becomes more difficult. Meanwhile, Logan and Isaac try to find clues leading them to Logan's kidnapped daughter, Dani, who was taken by her aunt Jamie, a master manipulator. During their search they discover a shocking hidden family secret that might provide a motive.
Another excellent book. The author had asked readers to alert her of errors in punctuation and grammar. There were several I noticed in the previous books, and many in this book. However, the story is gripping, drawing us into the continuing search for Logan's daughter, and also the search for a serial killer.
Great series. Interesting story, keeps you wanting more. Sure makes you think how lucky you were to have a good family life and not one such as these people did. I'm sure some people didn't have a good life, but it could have been worse. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
The mystery in the book is compelling, and I didn’t want to stop reading. Unfortunately, the ending seemed rushed, and I wish more time was spent with Logan. I still gave it 5 stars because I didn’t want to stop reading, and the ending cliffhanger is great. I’m getting the next book, right now!!
I have read all 4 of this story line and the characters make you feel the sadness and the joy they feel. The book is a fast read and a page turner. Couldn't stop reading till I was done and started the next one immediately. I would recommend reading this series in order.
Riley Quinn is a great sheriff, she knows her stuff. But she has her moments of doubt, what she walked into is mind numbing but she is the only one who will get the job done. Even if it risks her life. Even though they can stand alone, read them all. It is totally worth it.👍
Great bo8k, A.J. Rivers never disappoints me. I didn't want to put it down from beginning to end. It has more twists and turns than a slinky. Lots of surprises I didn't see coming. The only problem will be waiting in the next book!!
Just like all of her other books this one was not a disappointment other than I have to wait till September for the next book out to find out what happened. Excellent books totally recommend if you see anything start any of her series. They’re all great!
Love the stories (&thankfully books are included in Kindle Unlimited, I would not keep reading if I had to pay for each book) but knocked one star off because every book ends with a cliff hanger.........
The murders are being solved. Dani is still missing. A number of stories in the books which is interesting when reading and trying to decide how it will all end. Start with book one so you know what is happening.
A must read for anyone who has enjoyed this series . Really suspenseful and tense . I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a good mystery . Can't wait for the next story 😊 .
A serial killer that preys on people who love nature. A sister who is really a mother of the younger sister. So many deaths, caused mainly by horrible childhoods.
Riley and Zellina have a murder case with several bodies. Logan is waiting on the FBI to find his daughter. Both cases keep you guessing. There are several twists and turns and some surprises. The ending has you ready for the next book. Truly recommended.
Each book in the Riley Quinn series sucks me in deeper! I usually get bored with series but A.J Rivers is truly a writer who you can connect with, reaching into every nightmare you have had.
We now understand the family dynamics of Logan's dead wife's family. It is horrible but explains so much. Must read next book to see if his daughter is found safe.
Still really enjoying this series! This book (unlike the others so far) had quite a bit of typos and felt maybe a little more rushed, dare I say sloppy because of that but still a great book none the less. On to book 5!
