Another great book for Cassie Alexandra... I have read every book in this series.. loved them all... think this is the first one that I couldn't give a 5 🌟 rating. Everything was going great until the end of it and think the ending was rushed. Too many unanswered questions. I'm hoping they will be answered in the next book, if there is one and boy do I hope so. If you're looking for a great biker series then look no further because this is among my all time favorite series.

Oh the deceit in this story. I am amazed at the strength and determination Chuck has to fight for what she really wants even when those closest to her were working against her. Maddy struggled to see the truth but in the end he could not deny her. Another fantastic addition.

This is story of Twenty-three year old Charlie (Charlotte) has a love-hate relationship with her father Tony Armati, a rich and powerful man connected to the mafioso. Loving, but manipulative, Tony tries to control every aspect of her life, including the men she dates as he bribe the guy out of her life just before there wedding . She got random calls from stranger about the truth, this irritates Charlie, who decides to strike back by seeing someone her father would never approve of… and equally as dangerous.

Maddox Jones (Mad Dog to his friends) is the nephew of Bastard, the founding president of the Gold Vipers Motorcycle Club and newest edition to the Jensen, Iowa Chapter. A fearless hell-raiser, Mad Dog takes what he wants and right now it’s Charlie Armati, who walks into his life, when went down to meet one of the bike seller and She was there to fuck Cody her ex-fiance life and firstly his car with a baseball bat and some deeply rooted daddy issues. When he learns that she’s using him to piss off her old man, Mad Dog tries cutting his losses but finds it’s not so easy, especially with a beautiful, woman like Charlie, who can be just as manipulative as her father.

They met for second time at holiday inn they had a night and then rivalry put things in her life and she had to move away from her father. Later she realised that things were jeopardy and they have mole in gang, but things turn violent and Maddox was there to handle it and set things straight and bigger problem was he did and truth of mysterious came to light too and Jackie role is clear and we see a happy end to story as Maddox is going to propose to Charlie and here the story end.
The story have lot of bold erotic scene and violence read it if you are up for crude scene like an action movie violence.

Charley finds out her fiance' took money to break up with her. She finds him and has her bit of revenge on his car.
Maddox is doing business with Cody and some how witnesses Charlies destruction of the ex's car. She ends up spending the night with him and from then on they are together. She goes as far as to move to his hometown to be with him.
Her dad will stop at nothing to bring her to heel.
How clueless is Charlie? Her father is in the mafia and yet she is totally unaware of it. Even her best friend is plotting against her to keep her under her fathers thumb.
I didn't get why Jackie didn't expose the crap her father was doing? Did she not trust the friend who she had known for years?
The fact that Jackie was able to lure him to her apartment and then do what she did just didn't seem credible. Knowing how much she hated him and have him touch her and yet she invited him over and instigated what was happening should have made him suspicious but nope.
The whole incident of the set up should have made Maddox suspicious considering Charlie had just left town and her bff just had to visit the next day? Nothing added up in this book and didn't have a clear objection.
Being part of the mafia was just a "word". Nothing was done or said about it except for probably the death of Cody but even that really didn't get into the seedy side of their lives.

Maddox (Mad Dog) meets Charlotte (Charlie) when she’s serving some long overdue justice to her ex-fiancée.

There’s an instant connection and they spend as much time together as they can before Maddox has to return home.

Charlie is facing demons of her own. An overbearing father who interferes with every aspect of her life. Living a carefree existence, but subjugated to her fathers control issues has Charlie yearning to have a different life, especially since she met Maddox.

Charlie knows she has to make a tough choice to gain some independence and to start her life on her terms. Once she makes up her mind, things don’t exactly go as planned.

Because her father isn’t exactly who he says he is and doesn’t mind bribing others to get what he wants or to stop others from getting what they want, Charlie must make the most out of her life choices. However, she has no idea of the depth of the true deception going on around her, nor how far her father will go to secretly enforce his will upon her.

Look for rival gang plots and plan, deception that will shock you and a flaming hot attraction will keep you reading to the end.

Enjoyed this one, it had a lot going on. Just when you thought it was going one way, another thing pops up and you have to know how it ends.
This is my 5th book from the series.

Maddox/Mad Dog and Charlotte Armati (not sure if I spelled that corretly) meet by chance in New York City after her father - a Mafioso - pays her fiance, Cody, to dump her because he doesn't think he's good enough for her. Sick of being under her father's thumb and slowly becoming aware of how toxic he is, Charlie decides to cross the country to attend culinary school and to be with Maddy who she can't stop thinking about.

I think this was a book of missed opportunity. Motorcycle club vs. Mafia? It could have been awesome. Unfortunately, I was pretty bored through most of this and found myself yearning to have something different because Tony Armati (Charlie's father) was definitely a character that was made to love to hate.

I just wasn't feeling this book in the series too much.

2.5 Stars!

I'm not sure why I continued with this series as there were so many detail issues that it's so distracting and hard to read.

This time around we involve the Mafia but not really. It would have made more sense that the mafia was their new enemy that they were now facing but no Charlotte (Charlie) is the daughter of a mafia boss.

Maddox "Mad dog' Jones makes a new appearance in this series. I assume to make a new character so this series can continue.

It was okay, yet predictable. Even though this series has not wowed me it did hook me enough to read the ENTIRE series.

Steamy story

I really enjoyed reading about Mad Dog and Charlie. Too bad that Charlie's father was a Mafioso, which she didn't know. All she knew was he was controlling her every move. Maddox aka Mad Dog had just transferred from the Florida chapter of the Golden Vipers when he met Charlie. Although they hit it off perfectly, her father tried to tear them apart by having her best friend stage a scene to break them up. Plenty of action in this story. I loved it. I hope Cassie writes more stories about the Club and its characters.

Loved it

The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I love the nicknames they have each other. Chuck and Maddy are great together and their chemistry is off the charts. I laughed , I wanted to beat her dad myself and I cried for Chuck and loss of her friend. The banter between the guys is heart they things that come out of their mouths omg I laughed my butt off. Please keep writing this series I'm not ready for it to end yet. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Taunting The Biker (Biker MC Romance) Book 9: Another Freaking Rollercoaster Ride!

This is Mad Dog (Maddox) and Charlotte's (Charlie/Chuck) story. Charlie is in for more than one shocking look into the life she has been living. Her Dad is a crook and a huge manipulator. She just wants to live her life her way. Love this series...so glad Cassie Alexandra didn't stop after book 6.

Mad Dog/Chuck. This simple read book took me over 2 weeks to complete because I just didn't care. I have no interest what so ever to finish this series or even care remotely about the other characters since they really don't reference back to any of the characters in past series books. This book had nothing to do with the MC club and it was a stupid romance with an even worse story line. I actually deleted this book of of my library. I have no interest in re-reading this book along with any of the other books in this series and for that matter the author also.

Good read

Not nearly as good as the other MC books but still a good read. There were several grammatical errors, storyline was a little dumb and the romance was so fast that you knew it was a rushed book. Oh and the HEA that’s claimed to be given isn’t really in written words it’s just inferred. Not one of her best works for this series. If you can get it for free read it but I wouldn’t spend money on it.

First no condom with a stranger and same day your fiancée dumped you. I wonder if when asked if they’re clean someone would really reply- "no, but it’s just herpes".
Second— I didn’t get the impression she wanted her dad upset until she went to Jenson.
Third- lets get drunk with strangers it always leads to good things. Why not go to ER? If anything just to prove you had no control and were drugged.

Loved this one too. Charlie is one tough cookie and also hilarious at times. I felt for her so much with that conniving manipulative excuse for a father. Obviously she was very sheltered to not know who her father really was. It was also so sad about her best friend. Maddox had me enthralled from word one. I couldn't believe that those scumbags Devils Rangers were still causing shit - they are like a bad rash that just won't go away.

More bikers

I'm always up for more bikers! This one really put me into my feels! I'm not going to say why I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't read it yet, but I have to say loyalty is sacred and when it's broken it's hard to come back from it. Two thumbs and total recommendations!

Another thumbs up

I loved Maddox and the bikers stuff. I had issues with the Charlie character. She seemed a bit too naive. And I don't understand why she'd want to be a chef when she can't even cook.
The story was good but ended abruptly. I would've liked to have seen more of her and Maddox.

Love both the plot with this one as well as the characters. A MC Brother dating the daughter of a Mafia boss? Bound to cause some upset right? Not so much, but it was a highly entertaining read. Just a shame that it could do with editing. Mad-dog and Charlie make a delightful couple soon as they meet, and tense when it all goes wrong for Charlie.

Editing can make or break a book

Great storyline. Well developed characters. Horrible editing. It’s almost hard to read. Misused words. Grammatical errors. I feel like I’m writing the same review over and over and hoping for improvement with each book, but they keep getting worse.

Worth a look.

This series is definitely worth taking a look at. I have liked the reading of it, so many things going on that it keeps my interest. The sex is pretty hot, like the Bikers. As it should be.

Anticlimactic

This was a very confusing book. I really like MC books but this was started great but the whole situation with her father was a mess. I was annoyed by the whole book. Charlie was so clueless and a mess and Maddox wasn't much better. Not the book for me.

Such a beautiful story, Maddox is a great hero from the wrong side of the tracks, Charlotte is a princess that doesn’t really know where she’s from, together they are dynamite.
