Mikey had been hoping he'd be spending the day after the Superbowl celebrating a victory with his team. Instead there's only the crushing disappointment of loss. When Monday dawns, Mikey just plans to simply exist in aimless, abject misery.
Which is when his baby brother Carter shows up.
Carter knows exactly what his big brother needs to regain his footing. He knows Mikey thrives when he's in control and calling the shots. And he also knows that having someone to take of and coddle gives Mikey a sense of purpose like no other.
And Carter is just the pup for the job.
Puppy Love is a sweet Valentine's day story with a two dove rating for brother/brother incest, puppy play, bondage, sex toys, and service topping.
Adorable quick read about two brothers indulging in some sickly sweet puppy play. I know that I love Dove for their noncon stuff but I’ll be dammed if their more tender reads don’t always hit just right. I would literally scavenge through their garbage like a rabid raccoon just for the chance to consume their grocery list
35 pages of just adorable kinky sweetness that D Dove always delivers.
“Is my puppy feeling good?” Mikey kept his voice quiet. “Nice and floaty?”
Service topping done perfectly.
“You know the rules. You’re not wearing your knee pads yet.” Carter hesitated. “But—” “Puppies aren’t in charge,” Mikey growled, “and my floors are hardwood. Up.” 🥺
Fluffy ears, paw mitts, short stubby butt plug tail, bone-shaped gag, collared and leashed, getting fucked on the dog bed. What else could you possibly need, it's all there in tiny short story.
“My needy little puppy wants something else?”

A perfect quick and steamy Valentine's (or anytime) read! It's got puppy play, it's got bondage, it's got size difference, and it's got the delicious taboo of a sweet pair of loving brothers.
I love how sweet and caring the brothers are for each other, and how they both know just what the other needs and delights in giving it to them. I really enjoyed the dynamic of how Mikey is the one who needs comforting, but in order to feel taken care of, he needed to be the one to take care of someone, and how Carter knew that and knew that nothing would make his big brother feel better than having a puppy to dote on.
I really enjoyed reading this, and it's a great bite-sized morsel if you're looking for something sweet and sexy with a bit of taboo seasoning.
This was a nice and short taboo erotica. The writting was great, smut was hot and the couple was adorable. The only reason for the 3 stars is that I'm not very into puppy play, and I didn't expect this one to go that deep into it (yes, I know it's on the title but I've read others that did it on the surface). I still wanted to give it try, and it helped me realize it isn't totally for me, but it definitely can work for others!
I wished this were a bit longer because the couple seemed very cute to me, one of them being very sweet while the other craves to dominate, exactly my favorite type of pairing. As usual, D. Dove never disappoints with their dynamics. I'll never get tired of this author.
D. Dove is my sweet non-con queen (yes, I know they use they/ them pronouns, Queen is a gender-neutral term) and as it turns out, I love their sweet cesty books too.
There's not too much to say about this other than I wish it were longer (and yet their longer books I wish were shorter, go figure). I love the happy puppy elements, I loved the brothers, and I just had so much fun with this. That's all that's supposed to be, fun. Here's to whatever they come up with next!
emotional lighthearted relaxing Plot- or character-driven? Character Loveable characters? Yes 4.75 if there's one specialK I'm always uber excited about it is puppyplay. I can't tell you how much pleasure and comfort I feel while reading. Anyways mix it up with a service top and one dedicated brother who loves to give a needy pup all he needs, and you have a winner 🏆 Puppy Love by D. Dove was a short, delightful and spicy brocest, that gave me wholesome comfort and a very good time.
I hate that this was only a novella because I have questions!!! This reads as though I should already have prior knowledge of Mikey and Carter, but I didn’t find any other books for them. I would love a full length prequel or something for these two. Because how did they stumble upon this kind of dynamic? What is the origin story? I need answers!!!! Very sweet story. I just need more info!
Cute puppy play story....haven't read much of this author, so I plan to read a few more. It was good, but puppy play might just not be something I love reading. Brothers Puppy Play Size Difference BDSM Control / submission
Just the perfect little pet play snack! I love the way Dove writes in third person. Mikey and Carter are sweet brothers, Carter is Mikey’s puppy. It’s just one cute hot scene where Carter surprises Mikey for Valentine’s Day. A perfect inbetween books read!
I relly enjoyed this books its a totally 5 star worthy book, which I would have given it if it was longer, like most of your books they are pretty short and i finish it in a hour to 30 mins really, other than the length its very good!
After losing the SuperBowl, Mickey is depressed but then his brother Carter shows up to cheer him up. The 2 are in a relationship with puppy play. The book is basically a puppy play sex scene.
I rated this book 3.5 stars, so I rounded it up to 4 stars. This is the first book that I’ve read by D Dove. I’m pretty new to taboo subject books as it’s definitely not my go to choice to read but I still enjoyed this book. This is a short and steamy Valentine’s read. Puppy Carter knows exactly what his Master Mikey needs to help deal with the crushing disappointment after his team lost the Super Bowl. I’m looking forward to reading more books by D Dove in the future. I’d recommend this book and author to others.
