Adorable quick read about two brothers indulging in some sickly sweet puppy play. I know that I love Dove for their noncon stuff but I’ll be dammed if their more tender reads don’t always hit just right. A perfect quick and steamy Valentine's (or anytime) read! It's got puppy play, it's got bondage, it's got size difference, and it's got the delicious taboo of a sweet pair of loving brothers.
I love how sweet and caring the brothers are for each other, and how they both know just what the other needs and delights in giving it to them. I really enjoyed the dynamic of how Mikey is the one who needs comforting, but in order to feel taken care of, he needed to be the one to take care of someone, and how Carter knew that and knew that nothing would make his big brother feel better than having a puppy to dote on.
I really enjoyed reading this, and it's a great bite-sized morsel if you're looking for something sweet and sexy with a bit of taboo seasoning.

This was a nice and short taboo erotica. The writting was great, smut was hot and the couple was adorable. The only reason for the 3 stars is that I'm not very into puppy play, and I didn't expect this one to go that deep into it (yes, I know it's on the title but I've read others that did it on the surface). I still wanted to give it try, and it helped me realize it isn't totally for me, but it definitely can work for others!
I wished this were a bit longer because the couple seemed very cute to me, one of them being very sweet while the other craves to dominate, exactly my favorite type of pairing. As usual, D. Dove never disappoints with their dynamics. I'll never get tired of this author.

D. Dove is my sweet non-con queen (yes, I know they use they/ them pronouns, Queen is a gender-neutral term) and as it turns out, I love their sweet cesty books too.
There's not too much to say about this other than I wish it were longer (and yet their longer books I wish were shorter, go figure). I love the happy puppy elements, I loved the brothers, and I just had so much fun with this. That's all that's supposed to be, fun. Here's to whatever they come up with next!

I hate that this was only a novella because I have questions!!! This reads as though I should already have prior knowledge of Mikey and Carter, but I didn’t find any other books for them. I would love a full length prequel or something for these two. Because how did they stumble upon this kind of dynamic? What is the origin story? I need answers!!!! Very sweet story. I just need more info!

I rated this book 3.5 stars, so I rounded it up to 4 stars. This is the first book that I’ve read by D Dove. I’m pretty new to taboo subject books as it’s definitely not my go to choice to read but I still enjoyed this book. This is a short and steamy Valentine’s read.
