I fell in love with Kevin Dalton when he was first introduced to the Harlan county scene. I loved his devil may care attitude and his incredible mind (I dig a smart man) I have to say I wasn’t quite sure what to make of Shayla when she first arrive in Harlan county. She was kind of an enigma. A lot of secrets clouded her past and I wasn’t sure I liked her, but it turns out her secrets weren’t bad on her part, just sad. Everything she did was to protect her family. That girl sacrificed a lot in life for others and she really deserves a happily eery after.
Her Forever Cowboy takes two people that one would think are terribly mismatched: a brilliant, billionaire, playboy, cowboy Casanova, and a down on her luck, single mother and throws them together. Neither one is looking for a relationship.
Keven “doesn’t do” relationships. He’s been burned in the past and always keeps things superficial. Shayla has been on the run since she was sixteen. Her father is a nightmare. With the money from her former fiance’s death benefits she has changed her name and tried to start a new life, but she still fears she’ll have to run again, and Kevin reminds her too much of Amelia’s father. Rich and uncaring.
But fate and the pushy hands of the Masters and the McCalls keep throwing the couple together and Shayla soon sees that Kevin isn’t uncaring at all. He is actually a really sweet man and very sweet on her.
I loved seeing these two guarded souls open their hearts to each other.
A wonderful combination of hot and sweet, this romance tugged my heart strings in all the right places!

'Her Forever Cowboy' is book 4 in the Harland County Series by Donna Michaels. This is the story of Kevin Dalton and Shayla Ryan. I absolutely loved this story! I love all the characters in this series. I can not wait to read Jace's story 'Her Healing Cowboy' coming soon. This series is a must read for anyone that loves romance and cowboys!

I have loved Kevin since he was first introduced in Her Fated Cowboy as the VP of Software Company and best friend of Cole. Kevin was always the happy go lucky guy that laughed when his friends were dropping like flies to their respective women. Knowing all of that I couldn't wait to see Kevin fall like the rest of them and I knew he would fall hard.
Shayla was introduced to us in Her Uniform Cowboy she is a single mother who is also caring for her sister that is currently in college. We find out a lot about Shayla in this book and she is a strong, determined woman that will not let anything stop her.

Harland County is full of hot, hunky, hardheaded, but softhearted cowboys. Kevin Dalton is one of them, he is the sexy vice president of a software company and a cowboy. He loves women, but not enough to have a relationship with them. Shayla Ryan, is a woman with secrets and a past that keeps her and her sister, running from one place to another. She is also a single mother to a beautiful little red haired baby girl named Amelia. When she meets Kevin, she pegs him as a Cassonova cowboy, and wants no part of him, thinking that he is not a responsible person, but her body has other ideas and her attraction to the cowboy is too strong to deny. Although, Kevin does not do relationships, he quickly becomes attached to Shayla, and the little cutie pie, Amelia, especially after he has to safeguard them from people from her past. I have loved all the Harland County series but I think this one was my favorite, I loved Kevin, Shayla and Amelia, it was funny, sad and heart warming. It was so cute each time Kevin tried to straighten out his "mind-palace". I cannot wait for the next book in this series, and to see what is happening with the other lovable characters from the previous books. Kudos to Donna Michaels for writing such an enjoyable series of books.

Love! I've fallen for Kevin! He's just one of those cowboys that you can't help but fall for!!! I love the way Donna Michaels writes her books. I was "born and raised" in Texas, and I feel like I'm home when reading anything she writes!! I love this series, the cowboys, their ladies, the love stories, the heart wrenching scenes and the smokin' hot scenes! I love it all! Great writing, great storylines, and great entertainment. I can't wait for the next book! A definite recommend to one and all! YEHAW! ;-)

Kevin is the funny, carefree and sexy cowboy. He puts his family first. Shayla is a single mom trying to take care of her daughter and sister. They have amazing chemistry.
Shayla and Kevin are funny trying to fight their attraction to each other. I loved it when Amelia stared to call Kevin daddy.

Kevin has finally met his match. I was very excited to read this book based on their first interaction from the previous book.
I loved how Mrs. Michael's portrayed Kevin. While he was a fun time guy, he wasn't a douche. Everyone knew what they were getting when they got with Kevin. He was the the guy you have fun with, not serious with.
Shayla is on the run with a little girl and a sister she needs to protect. Everything about her life screams serious, so someone like Kevin gets on her nerves because she thinks he lacks responsibility.

Her Forever Cowboy by Donna Michaels is an awesome book. Ms Michaels has given us a book that is well-written and loaded it with fantastic, lovable characters. Shayla and Kevin's story is packed full of drama, suspense, humor and sexy bits. I loved every page of Her Forever Cowboy and look forward to my next book by Donna Michaels. Her Forever Cowboy is book 4 of the Harland County Series but can easily be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Shayla Ryan is on the run with her sister and baby from her abusive father. She lets the sheriff know what is happening and he helps her find a job with Jordan and Kerri Masters. They in turn introduce her to Brandi and talk her into taking Shayla as an assistant.
When Shayla meets Kevin they are determined to dislike one an other. On New Year's Eve they end up dancing together as a challenge. And without knowing we're recorded and it was put on YouTube.
Her and Kevin go into hiding at his Houston penthouse where they develop their friendship and decide to have only sex " no relationship " while they are to get her.
But when she comes back to Harland County can she forget him? Can he continue on with his live the way it used to be? This is a Fantastic story and I recommend everyone to read it!!!!!!!

I received this book to review and I really enjoyed it. This is the fourth book in the series and I have not read the other three books. That made the beginning s little confusing, to many people and backstory that I didn’t know. But once I got the hang of who is who and does what I enjoyed it. Though there are a lot of characters in the book, from the previous books as side characters.
I enjoyed Kevin’s and Shayla’s story, loved both characters, both had their own backstory with some heartbreak.
She is trying to escape her brutal father and is always moving around with her cute little daughter and little sister.She has been on the move since she is 18 and never really could settle anywhere.

attracted to Kevin from the start but she has already been burnt before by a rich, good-looking man and she does not plan on letting it happen again. She has her daughter and her sister to take care of now. The chemistry between these two is hot enough to set your kindle on fire. I loved reading this book and could not put it down. I am completely hooked on the Harland County series and all of Donna Michaels books. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next!!!

I so love this book!!! I laughed so hard I had tears running down my face and then I just plain cried! This book grabs and holds you till you finish the very last word. Donna wrote this book in a way that it touches the heart and doesn't let go, with the issues that the characters go through. If you want a book that you are able to connect to each character and their lives, this is the one for you. Donna Michaels, is an author that I recommend you read, if you enjoy books that you can relate to and enjoy SEXY COWBOYS, then the "Harland County Series" is the books for you! You read one and you’re hooked, I sure was and I can't wait for the next book.

Another good story in a great series. Every book I read by this author makes me want to read more. This one has a story that makes you feel all the problems of the couple and hope they can unravel their feelings and make a success of their relationship.

DNF at 20%. Too many cowboys for me. A sweet story about a single mom dedicating herself to raising her child after her fiancé is killed serving his country. But, there was a whole cowboy family conspiring to pare her off with one of their single cowboy brethren and I got lost in which cowboy was which and I just lost interest. Sorry.

There was great potential here. I just did find Kevin's emotional problems believable. It was too childish and random. Maybe the author should have found something else, if he needed anything at all. Something was missing, I don't know what, I can't put my finger on it. Maybe it was to short or underdeveloped?

Donna Michaels has made another fantastic book in this great series. I love the characters in this book as well as the rest of the series. I highly recommend this series and look forward to the next book in the series.

I absolutely loved this series. This last book was very heart wrenching to read in some places. It takes a strong woman to go through what shayla did, and turn out as good as she did. Her and Kevin are made for each other.
