What a fun, silly book! Our family with 4-6yr old boys, loved this book.

It’s a great way to connect with each other without screens. We have enjoyed reading the questions at the random times when we are waiting - pickup line, appointments, dinner table, etc.

We have read all the way through, and now scroll to random pages and pick one for fun to read - it always gets a lot of laughs.

I read the kindle version - I do think it would have been nice if there were more photos or pictures tying back to the questions.

Overall, a really fun read though- going to buy extras for elementary school friends birthdays.

Huge thank you to Zeitgeist Publishing, Penguin Random House and NetGalley for the free/gifted digital copy of this fun book!

Received via Netgalley in exchange for a fair and unbiased review

When my niece was in junior high, the Coke or Pepsi books were a big thing, and while this isn't the same thing, it is the same general idea but for a younger demographic. I knew if I could catch the kid on a good day, we would enjoy doing this together, and I was absolutely right.

We took turns with each section, asking the other what they would choose, and it led to so many laughs but also to some really interesting conversation, and learning about ourselves, which was my favorite part.

When asked whether we would like grow claws on our hands, or scales on our arms. Jeremiah chose the armor, and I chose the weapon.

When asked if he'd rather have a tree that grows money, or lollipops, he chose lollipops.

"YOU CAN BUY LOLLIPOPS WITH THE MONEY!"

When asked if he'd rather live next to a zoo, or a McDonald's, he chose McDonald's, at which point I told him to get packing because I'm kicking him out.

Our family had a fantastic time diving into Would You Rather? Junior: Super Silly Edition. This book is packed with hilarious and imaginative scenarios that sparked endless laughter and creative conversations. The questions are perfect for all ages and served as great conversation starters during family dinner

The kids especially loved the absurd and funny choices, which had them giggling non-stop and even coming up with their own “would you rather” scenarios by the end of the evening. It’s a wonderful way to bring everyone together, encouraging playfulness and connection.

Highly recommend for families looking for a lighthearted and entertaining way to spend quality time together!

Would You Rather is a fun book filled with hypothetical questions on hilarious scenarios. I read this with my 5-year-old in one sitting, though it would be perfect to ask just a couple of questions each day and make the fun last for a long time.
Each question allowed us to discuss which answer we would choose and why. Some of my son’s answers fully surprised me and allowed me to learn more about him. His favorite question was “would you rather sneeze pennies or fart butterflies?” 😂 He chose butterflies (because he’s a silly boy that loves fart humor), while I explained that sneezing pennies could end up being a lucrative talent if one were to sneeze enough times. His response was “well yeah, but wouldn’t that hurt?” Then we discussed that a nose would likely evolve from pennies constantly applying pressure to the nose, and so it would likely only hurt for a short time. This entire conversation may seem ridiculous to many, but I love that we were able to learn more about each other while listening to a difference of opinion. What an important life skill to acquire at such a young age.
A few of the questions were repetitive-so we skipped over those- but of the 200 questions, most were enjoyable scenarios we had never pondered before.

This super silly edition of the would you rather series for kids is so fun, not only for the kids but for adults too. The book gives over 200 questions with two options for the readers to choose from. The clever and creative choices ranged from pretty basic questions to super silly and creative options.
As a parent of 4 elementary age kiddos this book was such a fun way to start conversations with my kids and get to know them better. We shared our choices and dove into why we made the choice we did, which was so interesting for me to hear their reasoning and logic.
As an elementary school librarian, this book is super helpful because I use would you rather questions as a fun way to take attendance. Instead of saying here the students give their choice of the two options. The more silly the question the more they love it and I had been struggling to come up with more creative options. This book will last for the whole school year!
Huge thank you to Zeitgeist | Z Kids and NetGalley for the ARC of this fun book!

As a momma, I am always looking for new ways to spark fun conversations with me kids in the car, at the dinner table, or just through out the day. The more we converse, the less we screen time and I love seeing how my kids respond to these incredibly funny and creative questions. These lead into deeper conversations with my kids and help to explain things to them that sometimes just we tend to forget. I also love that there the book is broken into different categories to help you choose what type of conversation based answer you want.

I also am a teacher and this is a GREAT way to spark conversations, lead our morning meeting, have a brain break and allow my students to have engaging conversation with one another. Its fun to have votes and see how each topic says classroom conversation.

Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I read Kindle copy of the book. This book has 200 questions like Would you rather do this or that? We can ask these questions to elementary age kids; kids below 8 years might love these funny questions. A few questions are silly and fun, but a few are kind of uncomfortable food combinations or similar things.
one example - Would you rather have broccoli growing out of your nose or flowers?
I love the questions which are conversation starters like these -
Would you rather climb a tree in snow suit or run a race without shoes?
Would you rather have lightening indoors or thunder?
I would have loved if book has more pictures to engage kids and imagine the situations. There are few small drawings though which are cute.

Thanks for the free books, @penguinrandomhouse & @zeitgeistpublishing .

I wouldn't really call the questions super silly. Most are pretty basic and I don't really bring up a lot of debate. Several I would also say are pretty one sided with the choices. But it is aimed at kids. Either way the book, or probably any in their would you rather series would probably be great for road trips. The writing is simple enough most kids should have no issues with and would give everyone something to discuss while traveling.

It's a cute funny book that asks you questions of what you would either be, eat, or do. Great for kids 5 to 8 years old. I could see kids laughing and having so much fun with this book.

My students love would you rather movement breaks. I love this book because I could use it to make my own would you rather questions for specific lessons in the library. I also think the students would love this book because it’s funny! I cannot tell you how many times students take out joke books then want to tell me all the jokes they read. Some of the questions are great for discussions with peers. I would recommend this to students and teachers grade 1 and up.

These are fun would you rathers, I'd say even for adults. Yes, they're silly but I bet they would keep anyone busy and might even spark some interesting discussions. I like that the book is divided into categories: the best food ever, amazing animals, fantasy friends and fun, silly every day, and this is my world. I think this would be a perfect way to entertain bored kids on a road trip.

Such a fun, visually appealing book to engage with your kiddos. My 4 and 6yos were invested in the questions and we couldn't just limit ourselves to a handful a day. If I was still in the classroom, I would use these questions with students to spark conversation or writing.

Our seven year old child took this for reading at an elder care center volunteering activity. Everyone was amused and delighted to listen to the funny questions.
Both the reader and audience had fun.
The content is child appropriate.
Great manual for ice breaking activities for children.
Definitely something to keep kiddos away from screen and keep them engaged.
