You do whatever it takes to find them...
Mahgen is on the verge of giving up when her Destoul, the destiny of her soul, finds her and saves her life. Thrilled to be with her mate, Mahgen now carries with her the horrid memories of the months held captive by evil Karpartha gypsies. Will Kathel forgive what she had to do to survive? Can they look beyond the secrets and pain to see their love overcome all?
The Gwarda Warriors Series
Had Keirah and her sisters known what was set in motion the day their stones appeared and how personally they would be affected by it, they would have still fought the darkness, still battled for what belonged to them. Anguish had fallen upon their people as darkness encompassed their land, but through the darkness there came light. The new race of warriors would be their hope, their salvation, their loves’ destiny. But they too could be tainted. They too could be seduced by the black forces they had been created to fight against. If measuring by this earthly realm’s time then it’s been years but in the unseen realm above known as Vehaven, it has been but a moment. Love knew no bounds, knew no limitations. It looked beyond the unseen realm and reached in for a taste, for a moment of regenerated happiness, and in that moment fate was altered and the destinies of many were changed. Their land, their Northbrook, they discovered, was a very magical place.

I love Magnificence (Book 1), thought it was amazing and now Sustenance (Book 2) is just simply fascinating, with more revelations on the characters (old and new) and many events that will set in motion for the rest of the series - no doubt. Oh my...never suspected Kathel and Mahgen's story was so unpredictable! Their love and passion for one another was so immense and intoxicating and yet so intricate with so much bittersweet haunted by the past that you can only hope their love can surpass through anything. The last chapter really struck my heart. And again, I like how the author cleverly gives you a few glimpses within the chapters on how the next two Destouls story about to evolve. I love the romance, the chilvary and the actions of fighting evils throughout the book. So much in love with the Gwarda Warriors, the Druids, the half-bred Gypsy, the Archangels and Angels alike, the Kingdom, the Magic, the Dark Forest, the Lurking Evils, etc....Waiting anxiously for Recompense (Book 3). Thank you Madison for taking me along your journey of great imaginations.

Well where to begin!...... Well I love this author. That's a good start lol But seriously you have to give this series a read. Magnificence is a great first book and gives you quite a bit of insight into this book (And future books) . Kathel *SWOON* and Mahgen, Their struggles through out the whole book keep you wanting to find out "What Next"! I laughed, I was angry and I was sad. Roller coaster or what!! . From the very start of the book its so hard to put it down.

Angels, Warriors and demons oh my! Angels revealed.....say what? I have to do another *SWOON* as I am sure that story is going to be a doozy too! (trying not to give too much away)

But in all seriousness GET THE BOOKS ALREADY!! You won't be disappointed these stories just keep getting better and better! Waiting for the next book to be released is soooo hard!

Kudos to Madison Thorne Grey! Keep the stories coming!! I'M IN LOVE!! (And you will be too, Now go get the books!)

Kathel and Mahgen's story was a roller coaster of emotions. The twist and turns, joy and heartache that was encountered between the gypsy bad boy and his destoul had me reading well into the night. To see their relationship develop and grow was exciting and to see how it fit into the Gwarda Warrior brotherhood was great. Adding the "seer" into the mix can now take the series in so many directions. I cannot wait to see how the stories unfold and add color to the painting on the wall!

Kathel and Mahgen's story was so good! I even liked this book better than the first. The romance twists and fantasy elements really pulled me in. Brae and Eyramus the archangel..wow. And Thais? OMG! All of the warriors are so exciting. I cannot wait to see how the seer stuff plays into the next books. Darius's book is next and I hate waiting for it! Ahhh.

I cannot praise this book enough for the continuance of a uniquely recapturing fantasy adventure. Unlike many book2 is by no means a let down and continues to add depth characters, adding new plots and finishing others. A more remarkable series of this genre I haven't read. Now to book 3

Should've been a 4 Star

I loved the first book. I love the character Kathel.

I absolutely hated his true love Mehgan!!!

********SPOILER ALERT********************

As a result of this disappointing character I could only give this book 3 stars. I couldn't stand her from the beginning, and it only got worse. I haven't read many romances where I actually DON'T want you the H/h to get together.... This is definitely one of those books. She has sex with his brother (waits to tell him until she can throw it in his face). Defends the pathetic excuse for a brother against Kathel!!! Worries for this man (after a rightful beating from Kathel), to Kathel's face. Spends more time worrying about the brother than her mate. Instead of begging for forgiveness, and making him comfortable, she's like "oh well, get over it or I'll move on". She refuses to stay away from the brother, finding reasons to talk. Then the little trick ignores her mate and starts to flirt with another, a Gwarda this time!! That's just what Kathel needs with his newly formed bond with his people. Then she had the nerve to admonish him for his jealousy. While planning to run off with the brother she eavesdrops on PART of a conversation between her sister and Kathel. She gets a taste of her own medicine then. What does she do? She climbs up on her extremely high horse, (sarcasm) (actually stealing Kathels own horse) and leaves with her lover. I was really hoping she'd be terribly attacked in the worst ways..... and die!! But then I thought, well, that won't work cause Kathel would just blame himself. Then I thought, what a great idea, then he could get a new mate, A REAL ONE! She of course is betrayed by the scrum Kathel tried to keep her away from. He has to endure more pain and trouble to save her. That's not enough of course cause she's still on a high horse about her sister, making Kathel's life a living hell still. She keeps him at arms length until she needs to get laid, and won't speak to her sister. To top it all off, she tells everyone she's pregnant EXCEPT him. She didn't even tell him, someone else took him out to the forest to tell him. She didn't even go with them! The whole book she kept secrets, and lies. Mehgan and her sister Brae were nothing but bitches in this book. Whiny cause everyone had to keep saving them, mean and bitchy cause they're pathetic, gullible, and jealous of their older sister. God, I really hope Darius' story is way better. This one left a bad taste in my mouth.
