MAX THOMPSON is in love, but it doesn't matter. His daughter, Emily, is the light of his life and the center of his world and there's no convincing him that having a sex life won't detract from his duties as a father. He won't even risk it. An orphan himself, he has sworn to let neither Emily's absent mother or his own needs as a man interfere with his sacred duty as a father.

Beverly Hawkins has just had steamy, sinful sex with one of the most eligible bachelors in New York and now there's hell to pay. It's been awhile since she's been physically involved, but for Beverly erotic relations come with their fair share of mental and emotional baggage.

To make matters worse, after giving everything to Max he seems to be turning away from her, but Beverly doesn't want to chase. She's worth pursuing and knows it. Beverly and Max are led down the treacherous path of their desires while trying to avoid getting little Emily caught in the crossfire.

Excerpt:

Raised by the desk, Max felt Beverly’s legs rise tauntingly, silently beckoning him from underneath her bright dress. Her scent wafted over to him, pulling him by the nostrils. He could smell her arousal underneath her tastefully light perfume. Then a voice spoke in the back of his mind. You can’t. It’s Emily’s favorite teacher.

Beverly felt Max begin to slow down, but it only made her turn up the heat. She couldn't go without now, not after having had a taste in so long. She felt a little pathetic, but her desperate need for intimacy and lust fulfillment over came all. She was too pretty, too intelligent, to have to beg a man to have sex with her, but that’s what life had come to. She wrapped her legs around his waist once more, still sitting on the desk, pulled his tie forward with a forceful hand, and commanded:
“Fuck. Me.”

Warning: The following 15,000 word bwwm erotica short story featuring a black woman and a white man may contain steamy romance scenes that are too hot for some audiences to handle.

Laura Berg is a fantastic newcomer to the romance short story scene. Glad I gave her a shot!
