Perdy is back in a spin-off from my novella “90’s Love in Cali”! Perdy longs for love and security. On a lonely night, she makes a wish that she thinks would never come true, but it does, by the hands of Grain Perez. Grain is a boss, and is looking for a wife to marry in order to step into his father’s shoes as a Cartel boss in Cuba. Perdy ends up being in the wrong place at the wrong time, which makes Grain captivated by her beauty. Grain gives Perdy an offer that he will not let her decline… A Perdy’s Holiday!

Unexpected love

This was a quick and sweet read. Grain was just the type of man Perdy needed to come in her life to elevate her confidence and love her right. He saw the beauty and potential in her and wasted no time getting her.

This was a touch her and get got love story. 🤣 Grain was heavily determined to give Perdy the Perdy Holiday no matter what. Perdy really had no option to get a Perdy Holiday since Grain and her were entering into an arranged marriage anyway.

Perdy goes through all the emotions on her ride to marry Grain. Grain being naturally rough but vulnerable with Perdy is cute to witness. The dynamic and moments in which they show up is unexpected and spot on…that made me root for them even more.

Didn’t care for Perdy’s family and it was apparent that Grain didn’t either🤣

Catalina and Caine’s characters are definitely comedy.

You for sure don’t have to worry about the spiciness with this one.

This was my first read by this author and I look forward to reading more.

That was a Perry Holiday!!!

Let me start by saying this holiday read was absolutely beautiful.

Growing up sexual and verbal abused is a lot for anyone! Especially when the abuse comes from a family member that is supposed to love and protect you - mother & siblings. To feel unloved from the person who birth most likely is the hardest.

Well Perry experienced all that from her mother and brother. She had to deal with verbal, mental and physical abuse. Being jumped by your mother and brother has to cause the worst trauma of them all. Not only that she honestly felt she would never be loved or experience it either. However, that all changed due to her being nosey one night while home. That one night changed her life forever.

Let talk about Mr. Grain himself. This man was not playing when it came to Perdy! At first he was unsure and thought about killing for on that night that changed both of their lives, but it was something about her that caused him to change his mind. He doesn’t regret that change for nothing in the world! Perdy end up being everything wanted and needed. He made sure from day one that he would give her that INTENTIONAL HAPPINESS!!

From the first and the night they said “I do” and despite her fear and uncertainty she receives and gets her INTENTIONAL HAPPINESS!!

Perdy's Holiday

Ahhhhhhh Masterpiece!!!! The way you guided your pen and developed this story.... My goodness why did it have to end. I got to enjoy some of my favorite characters like Alize and Cook (my favorite) and let's not forget about my girl Chocolate. But baby the stars of this book was my girl Perdy ( who had me absolutely shattered in A 90's Love Story in Cali) and Mr. Grain!!!! When you think of Grain Perez you instantly think WHATTA MAN!! When I tell you that man WORSHIPPED Perdy's mind, body and soul. Just imagine witnessing a murder to being introduced to Mr. Soul Snatcher that came strong and snatched Perdy's soul in the worst way. If you didn't read the 90's Love Spin Off then I need to know what you are waiting for???

I loved Perdy in the 90s love story and couldn't wait to read her story. I was so glad that she got the kind of love she deserved. Grain wasn't playing with her at all. As soon as he laid eyes on her, he claimed her. Perdy wasn't accepting of his advances and was skeptical that he really wanted her. He proved her wrong. I loved seeing Perdy finally realize she deserved all the love that Grain was offering. Grain was a CRAZY about Perdy. When he wanted to unalive that man because he experienced what her mouth do, I was tickled. Alize and Choc were still in her corner, and I loved that. Good story, and I low-key want a Perdy's holiday myself.

Another hit

Like I said I waited for Purty and you delivered miss ma'am. Perty needed a man like grain to literally set her world ablaze and her body on fire. The BBE that rolls off the pages for green woo baby, I ain't never been so high and bothered in my life. That man that man that man would go to hell and back for her... I don't even care how quick it was it was perfect for her with everything that she had been through Justice withis was a dish best served to every f****** ninja.

Absolutely Amazing

This story had me.laughing as well as my eyes misting. Grain seen what he wanted and apples pressure, so happy Perdy now has someone to make her feel special and not ashamed to be seen with her. Gobber was a joke on all levels and once Perry turned him away his true side came out he was only using her and she deserved much more which Grain gave to her. Now when he spoke to her mother that was a proud laughable moment. So happy he didn't fall for Catalina and.knew she was.pretending with his mother another gold digger set straight.

So one night Perdy was home minding her business when she heard a commotion. Of course being the nosey neighbor she was, Perdy peeks through her blind tryna get the tea. The last thing she expected was to get caught by Grain’s fine ass. She tries to back away but it’s too late. He’s already set his sights on her and this is just the beginning. Grain showed up and showed out. This is an arranged marriage trope with a plus size fmc based around the holidays. This book was entertaining, spicy and I was smitten. 4.5 ⭐️ Recommended.

Perdy deserved alllllll the happiness Grain offered her 🥰 it may’ve been a bit unconventional but sis deserved! Her mama and those raggedy brothers could go to the deepest pits of h*!! And while I appreciate her homegirl having her back she was doing to much in my opinion! Yes ask questions and dig deep if something seems to be good to be true but pulling a gun on that man was WILDDDD, like I was almost about to wonder did she want Perdy for herself; it gave weirdo to me. In the end Perdy got her well deserved holiday and I loved every minute of her glow up!

Grain and Perdy

This book covered some sad topics but I’m glad she finally got someone who will actually protect and love her. Perry went through a lot with her family including her sick brother. I’m happy Grain handled business when it came to her and didn’t let anyone disrespect her. That mom got what she deserved. This is a short spicy read. I’m happy with the fairytale ending.

Reading 90’s Love in Cali, Perdy emerged as a sweet character who didn't deserve the treatment she received from her family. With the support of Alize and Choc, she was able to be removed from her situation. However, I found myself wondering about Perdy's future and whether she would ultimately find her happy ending. Fortunately, I was very pleased with the conclusion of Perdy's storyline in Perdy’s Holiday! Good read!

Just Beautiful

This book right here had me speechless.
All the twist and turns. Her mom was something else, Smdh. Good for her in the end that was a jaw-dropping moment 🤣😂.
All the different emotions that I was feeling, especially, the flooding of the words and my imagination caused me. Yes, 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.
INTENTIONAL HAPPINESS is what I'm striving for, here on out. This had me emotional. I felt that🥺😢

Whew

That ending was EVERYTHING! And talk about a get back!! Baybay... I loved that. I hated that Perdy went through so much as a child but here comes Grain to make things right without his initial knowledge of it. Grain was a man's man. BDE. He knew what he wanted and went after it no matter her reluctance. He reassured her and made sure she felt secure in her decisions. I loved this.

Unexpected, Happily Ever After

Perdy was dealt a bad hand since childhood but as she mentioned, she didn’t allow what horrific things she went through make her bitter. Grain came in, unorthodox of course but nonetheless he showed Perdy vs just telling her! Grain was intentional! When you know, you know. So happy Perdy received the long awaiting love she absolutely deserved!!

What a holiday!!!

I loved that Perdy got her special holiday. I loved❤ Grain for Perdy. He took charge, loved and protected her. That no good brother got what be deserved. We need a Valentines update on these two. If you looking for a quick💦 steamy holiday story, this is the one❤. Definitely⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Perdy was forced to get loved on and accept that somebody else could see her and provide her with the life she deserves and loved that for her. Grain didn’t play no games about her and I’m glad he put Catalina in her place and didn’t have any push back from his parents. Perdy’s holiday was everything it should have been and I enjoyed it.

It Was Okay

I think all books that have or mentions śëxual aššult should have a disclaimer posted even if it is mild. The book had its good highs and aggregating lows but it was okay. It needed an epilogue in my opinion with Perdy and Grain expecting a baby and their life back in Cali including her business up and running.

Short and bittersweet! I do hope we get to hear about Alize, Choc and Perdy again in the future. I’m so happy Perdy found her happiness with Grain. The hell that Perdy been through but her heart was so pure. She still chose to be kind, dream and hope. Authoress Masterpiece I love you down.

Loved this short novella. I loved Grain BDE when it came to miss Perdy. I wish Perdy would have let that hoe she called a mama be taken to the lord because she was evil. Glad King sick ass got what he got. I’m happy Perdy got her intentional happiness because she deserved it.
