ngl the volumes are not readily available at any of my libraries so each new volume i always forget the plot… until i read and the drama sucks me right back in. omg talk about love complications!!

Tbh I think Airi's feelings has changed, seeing how much she wished for Ibuki to come back. I just beg that Yuuki just talk to Iori and don't go the "I'll break up with you for your own good" route because IT WILL BE A DISASTER. MY HEART COULDN'T TAKE IT

UGH I'VE MISSED THESE FOOLS SO MUCH. The art is absolutely stunning and so cute, the plot is a little messy, but there's some slow relationship developments!

Recap: Airi and Iori and Ibuki's backstory, Yuuki's second time, hairstylist running their mouth, Iori gives Yuuki a key to his place, Seno decides to get a job and thinks about moving on, Ibuki tells Yuuki about their history, she goes drinking with her friend, Seno, and co. She's crying and when she leaves, Seno follows to make sure she's alright. We see Iori actually intervenes, they talk it out, Airi meets up with Yuuki the next day, Ibuki's trying to dip without seeing Airi, they plan glamping to force Ibuki to talk to Airi. Seno shows up lmao.

Un’altra tappa piacevole nel viaggio di Yuuki e Iori

Il quinto volume di “Era destino che ti incontrassi” conferma il suo stile dolce e rilassante.
Il rapporto tra i protagonisti si fa via via più naturale e tenero, e questo rende la lettura scorrevole e piacevole.
I disegni restano uno dei motivi principali per cui continuo a leggere: delicati, eleganti e sempre pieni di atmosfera.
Un volume che non delude, anzi, accompagna con garbo chi ama il romanticismo più sottile.

Oh damn... Iori and Yuuki are the cutest, but I'm so ready for some angst. Happy to see Seno bringing some chaos in this (maybe, we can imagine).

And also... Ibuki what's your deal really ???!

I feel this Vol. 5 was a big setup for Vol.6 which I cannot wait to read now!!

After so long Volume 5 is finally here and I'm so ready for the glamping drama that will happen in volume 6. Honestly this stupid mess with the brother and Ari is kind of annoying for no reason. I love the drama, but I'm also like y'all are so stupid. I'm hoping a lot of this gets resolved in volume 6. Love the tension between Seno and Iori, though. Seno should really give up because Iori is great and I love him and Yuki together, but Seno is so cute. Hopefully he finds his perfect match at some point in the series and doesn't get tossed to the side or thrown together with some rando.

I really don’t have much to say. This volume was ok. Nothing extraordinary but nothing absolutely horrendous either. I will say Seno was pretty irritating in this volume and the drama with Ibuki and Airi seems so unnecessary but I mostly still appreciate what Yuuki and Ioris relationship represents.

Questo quinto volume di "Era destino che t'incontrassi" mi è piaciuto tantissimo, per me è un volume coccola, pieno di dolcezza. Ci sono così tanti momenti emozionanti, dolci e delicati che mi hanno tenuta incollata alle pagine.

Le dinamiche tra Iori e Yuuki si fanno sempre più intense, le loro emozioni si fanno sempre più forti. La loro storia si sta evolvendo, è una vera esplorazione dei sentimenti, delle paure e delle paranoie che entrambi devono affrontare. Ogni passo che fanno insieme, anche se piccolo, è significativo, e questo li rende ancora più reali. Adoro Yuuki, lei è la dolcezza fatta in persona. I personaggi secondari sono bene caratterizzati, non sono solo di contorno, ma ognuno di loro ha un ruolo importante che arricchisce la storia.

I disegni sono stupendi, si percepiscono le emozioni nei volti dei personaggi.

Il mio voto è il seguente: 4,25 stelline su 5.

Rounding up. Ok, so for whatever reason, I keep screwing up the order I read this in, so now 6 makes a lot more sense. <⁠(⁠￣⁠︶⁠￣⁠)⁠↗ The situation with Airi and Ibuki is a convoluted mess using the non-communication and "I'll decide how you feel and just leave" plot devices. If these people would just talk to each other... Anyway, these tropes ate useful but they seem unnecessarily muddy here, especially since their drama is affecting other people. But the rest of the volume is spectacular as usual. Anashin is so good at making characters worth caring about and her art is clean and beautiful. I won't say any more since I've read 6 and don't want to accidentally give anything away. Good volume, though. We get much needed context.

The next book is so exciting !!
I really praised Yuki for her communication skills with Iori at the start of the manga but this book she lacked it. Just my personal opinion but it was frustrating at times. Seno not giving up is fun for the story but realistically she made her choice let it go. Really excited see where the series goes!!

BROTHER IS NO LONGER SUS. seno is but its ok but iori is SO DOWN BAD FOR HIS GIRL he is going to fight. love how yuki is also so in love with her man but is also more in love with setting up her besties. true girls girl. PLEASE LET AIRI AND IBUKI BE HAPPy.

Et je m'arrête sur ce tome. En soit, ça reste une lecture agréable. J'aurais sûrement continué il y a 10ans, ou peut-être si je n'avais pas lu de shojos récemment. C'est du vu et revu, donc ça fonctionne mais je suis un peu lassée. je trouve aussi que certains aspects sont vraiment tirés par les cheveux.

Ok… Estou a escrever esta review pelo computador E ISTO ASSIM É MUITO MAIS DIVERTIDO e faz parecer mais sério. Ok comecemos então…
Estou a dar esta review apenas no quinto volume porque infelizmente a vossa amiga aqui estava mais entretida a ler do que a apontar as opiniões por cada volume, por isso contentem-se com o facto de eu não encontrar o 6 volume disponível em lado nenhum e ver-me obrigada a dar-vos atualizações agora mesmo sem a obra terminada AAAAAA que aflição mas enfim, acontece…..
Agora sobre os livros em si… tenho muita coisa para contar.
Adorei o romance entre os dois personagens principais. Acho que é um daqueles raros romances realmente realistas e que os personagens demonstram ser minimamente responsáveis emocionalmente com os próprios sentimentos e com os dos outros. Sobre a história, o enredo é muito interessante e toda a parte das duvidas reais da personagem principal fizeram-me sentir menos insegura sobre o facto de nunca vir a ter um futuro relacionamento… Isto porque as minhas dúvidas pareciam super desnecessárias e estranhas a meu ver, mas percebi que não devo ser a única a sentir estas estranhezas… se não, não haveria um mangá que o registrasse dessa maneira. Por isso, mais um ponto para toda a história.
Agora sobre as notas individuais.
Como podem ter percebido, este volume é com a nota mais baixa e eu tenho uma justificação (espero ser válida).
Tudo tem haver com a relação do irmão mais velho do Iori, com a Airi. O facto daquele gajo ser um ADULTO e mesmo assim ter atitudes de um adolescente, evitando-a, por causa de inseguranças geradas por coisas que nem sequer ele tem a certeza, IRRITOU-ME. Isso não só atrapalhou as cenas entre ele e a Airi, como também acabou por gerar inseguranças DESNECESSÁRIAS na Yuuki. Isso tudo irritou-me como tudo e foi o suficiente para eu querer dar apenas as 3⭐... Enfim, sim foi só por isso que a classificação foi tão baixa. Isto porque eu estava realmente a gostar da história mas este detalhezinho e o facto de ter rendido mais um volume para a saga toda fala muito sobre tudo. Já sabemos que irá gerar ainda mais confusão mas com certeza no final já estarão todos resolvidos. Amei como o nosso querido Iori resolveu a cena entre ele e a Yuuki e as milhares de questões e inseguranças que ela tinha (obrigada também por mim por me fazeres parecer menos estranha), foram muito fofos os momentos deles a resolverem-se porque foram tão maduros que eu perguntei-me há quanto tempo eu não lia sobre um relacionamento tão saudável como o deles. Adorei cada segundo deles os dois.
Ah esqueci-me de mencionar a confusão que foi logo no inicio para diferenciar os irmãos porque aparentemente eles estavam idênticos mas ainda bem que passou rápido porque não ia aguentar tanta confusão com GÉMEOS ainda.
Outra coisa que detestei foi aquela fã amiga sei lá do irmão do Iori, meu deus que miúda chata, DEIXA A YUUKI EM PAZ AAAA, não vais ser cúpido de ninguém só atrapalhas meu deus. Enfim :))))))
Adoro a Airi, acho que ela é só incompreendida, assim como há quase sempre nos shoujos, mas que precisavam apenas de mais tempo de ecrã para todos passarem a amá-la. Tudo culpa do irmãozinho do outro lá. Raiva do irmão meu deus, o que o Iori faz de bom e irmão vai lá e faz tudo ao contrário, raiva raiva raiva.
Adoro também a melhor amiga da Yuuki, super fã dela, só acho que merecia alguém melhor do que aquele gajo do bar lá, amigo do irmão do Iori (srry, nunca haverei de me lembrar do nome dele, odeio-o).
Vou esperar agora até os próximos volumes estiverem disponíveis algures por aí ou se possível comprar os físicos porque realmente valem a pena. ❤
Recomendo a quem ama um bom romance e alem disso, um romance MADURO e que não vos vai tirar do sério (sem incluir claro, o parvo do irmão do Iori 😐). LEIAM MUITO!!!

In her apartment they look at her old yearbook, and then, without thinking, Yuuki talks about Seno back then and how everyone thought so highly of him. We find out even Ibuki mentioned that Seno and Yuuki would make a cute couple. Iori expresses his annoyance over this but still says he’s confident she’d choose him. Later, when they are intimate, he tries to get her to be more free, letting her voice out, but she is still embarrassed, not quite comfortable yet.

Natsuki gets Seno to agree to go glamping with him to meet new people. He wants Seno to get over Yuuki. He tries to get him interested in mixers, but Seno would rather do something that has other potential, so a work gig is more his speed. Later we find out that Yuuki and Sanae will also be there, which makes him much more into the idea.

Yuuki becomes obsessed with the idea that Ari actually likes Iori because of the guy who works with Ari at the hair salon. He is Ibuki’s superfan, and Ibuki told him one time that she actually was in love with Iori but wasn’t aware of it. He thought if he left, Ari and Iori would end up together and be happy. The more Yuuki thinks about it, the more she thinks that Ari and Iori might be soulmates because of the way they met. He intervened when she was trying to defend herself from a group of guys who were harassing her. As opposed to the fact that Iori and she met at a club.

She tries to talk to Ari about it, but Ari is busy; she ends up talking to Ibuki about it because he shows up at Iori’s apartment when she’s waiting for him to come home. It’s the first time she used the key to his apartment, but she leaves before he gets there because all of this makes her more insecure about her relationship with Iori. Meanwhile, Iori is telling her she can be more selfish with him; she is his girlfriend, after all, but she struggles with it. Though she does pull him into a passionate kiss, but she is embarrassed afterward.

Later she ends up going out with Sanae, and Seno and Natsuki are there too. She calls Iori to let him know and then proceeds to drink and commiserate with Natsuki and Sanae over relationships. Afterward, as she is leaving, she and Seno have a moment, and Iori sees it and steps in. It’s obvious it triggers his jealousy, but he is upset with himself over it since he told Yuuki not to avoid Seno on her account. She thinks he is mad at her, but it’s actually himself he is mad at.

Later they take a bath together, and she brings up her thoughts about him and Ari maybe being soulmates because of how they met, and he points out he could say the same about her and Seno because of their story. Yuuki voices her insecurity that she doesn’t have anything special to offer. Iori says then they have to spend time together, and then someday all of their experiences will add up to something special between them. It’s sweet, and it reassures her.

So by the time she meets with Ari, she doesn’t feel the need to ask her about how she feels about Iori. Ari does mention she can’t believe Ibuki is leaving without seeing her, and she wants to figure out how to make him see her.

So in the end we see that Iori, Kaji, and Ibuki are also joining the glamping trip, but they decide to go early to have more time to spend with each other. Ibuki thinks it’s his going-away party, but it’s really a ploy because, unbeknownst to him, Ari is there. Another surprise is that Seno and Natsuki also show up early. He takes that moment to tell Iori he isn’t holding back anymore when it comes to Yuuki to which Iori responds, “Oh yeah? Bring it on.” That’s how the glamping trip kicks off, and this volume ends.

Allora, io voglio bene a Yuuki. E capisco pure che serva un pochino di drama per mandare avanti la trama. Lo giuro, lo capisco. Ma perché Yuuki si deve rovinare la vita con tutte queste pippe mentali? Perché???? Sei felice, stai con un manzo che ti adora, ma perché ti devi caricare di un peso che non ti riguarda? Anche perché ho la vaga impressione che la situazione Iori/Ibuki/Airi sia il frutto di un qualche problema di comunicazione. E di convinzioni che forse, e sottolineo, forse, non trovano riscontro nella realtà dei fatti. E spero che il fine settimana in campeggio possa aiutare a schiarire le idee dei presenti. Soprattutto quelle di Ibuki, che dà la sua versione della storia a Yuuki - a quanto pare, lui è seriamente innamorato di Airi, ma è pure convinto di non essere ricambiato 🤔 e qui ho i miei dubbi. Forse è iniziato come un caso di fake dating (idea "geniale" di Ibuki per convincere il fratello del fatto che non fosse lui il responsabile dell'infelicità della famiglia e per aiutarlo a ripulire la sua immagine), ma Ibuki ha sempre dato per scontato i sentimenti di Airi per Iori. Ma forse non è proprio così. Peraltro vorrei saperne di più sul passato di Airi - dei suoi problemi con uno stalker e delle relative conseguenze - e magari la poverina avrà l'occasione di mettere in chiaro le cose una volta per tutte.
Nella mente di Yuuki, il primo incontro tra Iori e Airi sembra essere stato voluto dal destino, ma nella realtà dei fatti il ragazzo è innamorato di lei e non dell'altra. Fine del discorso. È inutile farsi i piantini per uno scenario ipotetico. Iori è un uomo adulto. Se avesse voluto mettersi con Airi, penso proprio che avrebbe già provveduto. Quindi è il caso di piantarla con i film mentali non richiesti.
Comunque sia, spero che il quinto volume esca presto, perché lo voglio proprio vedere questo fine settimana in compagnia - tra chiarimenti vari e un Seno che non ha alcuna intenzione di mollare la presa (forse Yuuki farebbe meglio a pensare a quello e non ai problemi degli altri).
