Okay yet again, Helen Johnston has a TALENT for supernatural and spice 🌶️

In this book, we follow two twin brothers … erm that’s really all I can say on that .. yeah .. I think you have to be a certain type of romantasy reader to appreciate this book because let’s just say I cannot safely recommend this to just anybody 😭

I have to say the Taylor Swift comments threw me off guard at the beginning. I still devoured this book in a day and it was thoroughly dark, entertaining and high on the chilli scale ✨

I picked this up after finishing book one (The Alpha Legend), and it slides seamlessly into the ongoing world of the Wolf Pack.

If you enjoyed the first book’s mix of pack politics, protective alphas, and very spicy shifter romance, this sequel doubles down on all of it, while introducing a new fated mate dynamic with the red wolf twins, Jack and Ralph.

The story kicks off with the pack trying to settle into a more normal routine. Jack and Ralph, now managing the nightclub The Pack, discover what looks like a homeless woman digging through the bins. Instant mate recognition hits (classic shifter insta pull), but before they can properly claim her, an ominous threat from the past crashes back into their lives, putting the entire pack in danger.
From there, it’s a fast paced blend of action, protection mode on steroids, and the twins going all in to keep their woman (and their found family) safe.

Jack and Ralph are noble red wolves from a Scottish Highlands clan, and that heritage shows in their fierce loyalty and “move heaven and earth” energy. They’re possessive, dominant, and very much in the “touch her and die” category, perfect for fans of why choose tropes with a dark edge.

The heroine starts in a vulnerable spot, but she doesn’t stay passive, the story gives her room to navigate the overwhelming intensity of being claimed by two powerful shifters while danger looms.

What I liked most was the continuation of the pack from book one. Seeing familiar faces and how the group is evolving feels rewarding if you’ve read the first installment. Threats from the past keep the plot moving, while the romance delivers that possessive, fated mate obsession many i crave in shifter books.

This is unapologetically erotic paranormal romance with plenty of spice (definitely on the darker, more intense side of grey). The chemistry between the twins and their mate is combustible.

Threats from the past keep the plot moving, while the romance delivers that possessive, fated-mate obsession many readers crave in shifter books.

Overall, Dark Possession is a solid, entertaining follow up that delivers exactly what the blurb promises, protective wolf shifters, a woman they’ll do anything for, pack loyalty, and steamy scenes that don’t hold back. It kept me turning pages late into the night, much like the first book.

If you loved book one and want more of the same fated mates, alpha energy, action mixed with heat, and that possessive shifter romance vibe this one’s worth diving into.

Highly recommend if you enjoy Helen Johnston’s style of smut with plot wolf shifters.
Just go in knowing it leans hard into the possessive, erotic side! 🐺

OMG 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I DEVOURED this in one day!

So this joins in with book one The Alpha Legend (which was also a 5 star 🌟 and 5 spice 🌶) we get the twins in this book and get to learn more about their past (check your trigger warnings ⚠️) and how they work together and in the pack. And we meet their Mate (Trigger Warnings ⚠️ again check before reading!) The plot also shows us Lyle and Ruby of book one and we get to know more of the pack and how they are settling.

Okay time for the fun stuff, This book is an MFM paranormal romance featuring twin brothers and one virgin girl. And it is SPICY! Seriously I read a LOT of spice and this one had me wiggling in excitement and needed to get some release! The spicy scenes are intense! And so freaking hot! 🔥🥵 and like book one both the males and the wolves are involved! And both brothers at the same time!!! Utterly amazing and had me reaching for a toy more than once!

Well, well, well. You want feral, no holds barred, complete and utter filth?

Helen did not disappoint. Yet again, my flabbers are well and truly gasted. Just when I thought I knew what to expect after reading The Alpha Legend, Helen surprised me even more!

The twins... what can I say about the twins? Dark and twisty, but in the best possible way. Scottish, which is a bonus for a native like me. Utterly unapologetic of their life choices... Delicious!

And Bailey...our FMC. Her story cracked my heart a little. What she went through, and how she overcame everything...damn. She's a tough cookie, our Bailey.

I loved reading this second instalment, and I am so excited for book three which is set to release this year! Hold on to your panties guys...or the twins just might rip them to shreds ;)

Oh Mrs Helen you did it again, another SPICY book with a great story line.
This is book 2 in the wolf pack series and mainly focases on 2 Scottish twins Ralph and Jack, they both have their own personalities and are quite comical at times. Especially Taylor Swift. I need more people to read this series so i av people to talk about it with.
Bailey our FMC definitely pulled at my heart strings with her backstory. She has been through alot, but learns to overcome it and becomes such a strong part of the pack.
As always the spice was spicing 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
Lets just say if you want Feral, and complete and utter filth this book is for you! But id place a towel down as its about to get wet.

Dark possession is a great follow up to Alpha Legend. I loved the twins and how they find their mate. Like the first book this one was full of action, hotness, characters from past books . It kept me from going to sleep I had to finish it in a sitting. Jack and Ralph I’m so happy I finally got to see them find their one, I hope we get to see more books on the other characters.

A good read. I loved the focus on healing their mate and her emotional trauma. I wish there had been more chapters of the action, it was over very quickly. I would have liked it to be a bit more drawn out.
Otherwise I enjoyed this book.

You MUST read the trigger warnings before reading.

5 for smut. 2.5 for plot

If you love smut then this writer is for you. The spice is on another level.
Just due to preference I like plot and fantasy. The shifter element and demons were great.

Yes Yes Yes, this is the type of book I needed! Is it the best book I have ever read no, but was it the book I needed at 4am in the morning when I couldnt sleep yes it was!

This is book 2 of the Wolf Pack series, you follow Jack and Ralph and their search for a mate that can both share, enter in Bailey a young girl mistreated by her older brothers and niaeve about most aspects in life she is thrusted in to pack life when Jack and Ralph scent her in a dark alleyway and set her sights on her. Little did they know she has been sold to someone her older brothers has owed a debt to, now she is gone and needs saving.

I remember book 1 has alot of sextual content into from the begining, this one doesn't start off like that thankfully as the FMC is younger and very naïve about everything. If you want a fast paced spicy wolf shifter book you need to read this series.
