Silver Bells

Rate this book
They call me Holly for a reason.
First, because it's my name.
Second, because I am obsessed with all things Christmas.
This year is different though, because Santa walks into my bakery, demands a date, and then springs his four other co-santa brothers on me. Every time I see them, mysterious bells jingle and I'm determined to figure out where the sound is coming from, just like they're determined to win me over so they can come down my chimney.

This is a deeply unserious novella where the girl gets the guy, and another guy and another guy and another guy and another guy, and should in no way be read by anyone who isn't ready for this level of Christmas cringe. Minimum 18, y'all, seriously.

Just for a change cos ya’ know it’s better than a rest 🤣🤣

Not a dark read, a sweet why choose with five…yes, you read that right five Nick’s or Santa’s to stuff your stockings full of their Christmas cheer 😋

There is a little build up to getting to the fact they are fated mates but it’s a romantic ride 🤭 A very pleasant Christmas read jingling all the way 🔔🎄

⭐️🔔4. Well, that was definitely not what I was expecting, and im definitely not mad about it. That was a wild (sleigh) ride. There really isn't much to discuss about this book. You just have to experience it for yourself. Though, I would not recommend it to anyone who finds Christmas very sentimental, or has a strong stance on traditionalism.
Now the question is. If I, as a professional baker, open a Christmas cookie store, can I expect similar experiences?? 🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔

Leave it to Kelsey to make the holidays special! Told from Holly’s POV, this cute and spicy novella is perfect for getting in the mood. Great spin off of how Santa works. I loved Holly…laughed out loud numerous times from her internal monologue.

Stupid fun, absolutely ridiculous, completely delightful

I'll never look at or think about jingle bells or Silver Bells the same in my life. Merry Christmas to all, indeed.

Too cute!

Since I've found this author, Kelsey Soliz, I've enjoyed every moment of reading her books... and laughing out loud much more often than I ever expected from the books I've read so far, (think Reindeers & her newest one in the Trash Town series, in case you're curious...) Most other very talented authors can make me LOL, but they need to have an equally twisted Or dark sense of humor, sometimes both work too, but Ms. Soliz is very Creative, Talented, and when her books Do finally get Spicy, let's just say I've enjoyed her "Intimate Varieties & Unique Choices!" Because it definitely takes a very deviant & twisted mind to create what she writes but she Doesn't write SMUT, she does a fantastic job, so far, at character description and development- in the best of ways that can easily apply to so many of the readers, like myself, especially if they may have self-esteem issues or depression etc. Seeing a strong FMC overcome personal, usually self-imposed Negative Beliefs about Ourselves, from hearing relentlessly and eventually believing others, (because we just might not conform to whatever our "local society" says is appropriately Normal & thus Acceptable,) because There's no such thing as Normal but if there was it's be Boring AF LoL!!! Doesn't matter if you're basically an outcast because you're "appearance" doesn't fit within whatever the local population dictates is the current acceptable size, shape, and weight, or you might have a quirky personality, or maybe just a very bunt one because you don't handle Stupid well, or your personal religion (or I suppose a lack of?) is certainly not one that is approved of, so everyone will avoid you because ANY of those things Might be CONTAGIOUS LMAO!!!
(Like I'm more spiritual and polytheistic but not "wiccan" either, and I'm a fluffy woman in her mid 40s, with pink hair... but I'm also disabled, thus I've got triple strikes against me in my relatively "religious & conservative" small town... I'm also bluntly honest but very loyal, and I don't do stupid, and have zero F's to give. So it takes a certain type of human to tolerate and accept ME for ME, just the way it Should be. I will absolutely always help creatures in need... because animals are much more honest than humans. I'll help those weaker people who need someone, but I usually get punished for my kindness and I avoid drama like it's the plague lmao!) So, FMC who Grow as people as well as MMC(S) are very important. Her story telling is insane yet believable since it's fantasy or romantasy and I Also Love good RH but I'm hoping to find something of hers which has actual mmfmm with mm relationships in more detail because to me, in a situation like that, unless blood related, that just makes sense and doesn't constantly put ALL the physical pressure on the FMC... Plus it's for Her Viewing Pleasure too!!! "insert witch cackling!"
If you HAVEN'T been reading her books, you're either a prude, which is perfectly fine and you can find plenty of romance books with just a "couple" or you don't quite understand the sometimes Confusing book info. If you see the ratings are really high, you enjoy RH & depending on the book, Sweet & Zero Angst/Drama, to a little bit Sweetly Darker... Which is where I'm headed next... That's kinda all you need to know isn't it?!? Enjoy my fellow book nerds!!!

Silver Bells

I have never laughed or giggled so much reading a why choose book. At the same time the giggles also had me shaking my head at the hotness factor.

Christmas cookies
Jingling bells
Mistletoe
5 Claws … and hotness times 5
One lucky lady who likes all things Christmas

Pick this up for a fun quick read cause once you start you won’t want to put it down … and yeah some of the giggles are hard to explain when the kids look at you wondering what’s so funny …

I have a hobby of reading these for the creativity. This one honestly has good writing and development. It felt like a slow burn. But like many of these types of books, it hurtles quickly towards the ending. All the painstaking character development also felt like it went out the window. I mean, honestly, it had some great creativity. It gained an extra star for that. Read the description of it and you'll know exactly what you are getting in to.

Merry Christmas all!

Wow...just wow! I absolutely LOVED this book! Kelsey, you did it again. Holly and her Santas just made my Christmas. I will never be able to listen to certain Christmas songs the same way again, and I'm here for it! I will definitely recommend this book, and laugh with others. Merry Christmas to all!

Silver Bells

Oh, Christmas. I wish I had found this gem before the holiday, but I can’t be mad because this was everything! I found myself laughing out loud and hiding my tablet from nosy eyes. I loved Holly’s attitude and wit and all her guys were simply perfect. It was a little hard to distinguish who was who, but in a nutshell this is a harem and that’s bound to happen.

Such a fun novella to get you in the Christmas spirit. It's a quick read with lots of laughs and spice. I also loved the Santa lore that's different than just delivering toys. 5 Jingle Bells!! 😜

The funniest thing I’ve read in a long time.

I absolutely laughed out loud and had to read parts of this book to my hubby, who laughed with me. Now I’m off to find some Christmas tree cakes.

2.5/5 This felt slow yet I couldn’t tell the guys personalities apart. Heavy on the Christmas elements, unlike a lot of other Christmas marketed books, but it didn’t do it for me for some reason. I did laugh really hard at the Christmas cookie bit.

Nice little holiday themed book. It will definitely make you blush thinking about certain Christmas related songs and foods and such. But for anyone who ever wished they'd get to meet Santa to Christmas and be a good but naughty girl/boy this book is for you. ;)
