'Tis the season....for frustration. Neve has just about had it with the hustle and bustle of the holidays, including her overbearing Aunt Charlene's to-do list and three mysterious packages deposited on her icy doorstep.
When a surprise snowstorm grounds her travel plans, Neve curls up on the couch for a well-earned nap, but wakes to find a trio of elvish intruders—North, Tinsel, and Buzz—ready to put the holly jolly spirit right back into her...holidays...with some timely presents she'll never forget.
And Aunt Charlene? Well, she's just gonna have to do her own damn grocery shopping.
Wrapped and Tapped is a why choose sentient object romance with a twist, and features smexy elvish men that are all about getting festive and frisky with our female main character. Be sure to check out the "look inside" view for content considerations to make sure this hot holiday romance is right for you.
This was so fun and silly, but with a lot of sweetness. It touched on some difficult family dynamics and the demise of a past relationship before jumping into smut, but let’s be real. This book was made to be creative smut. A nice palate cleanser for the holidays and reminder that even if crappy fam drags you down, there are 3 hot elves ready to turn it around. … right?
Spice: 4/5
Triggers: cheating (past relationship, not by MC), borderline quid pro quo sex (like everyone enthusiastically consent tho), manipulative family members, near miss to car crash
I don't know what started this trend in the shifter/sentient object corner of KU where too much time is spent quibbling over "should I bang the hot guy(s)/objects?" but I do not care for it. Why are we wasting 20+ pages in a 59 page novella instead of getting down to business (to defeat the Huns)? Once the fmc gave in, it was fun with the Vera Valentine brand of unique anatomy that keeps me reading the weirdness.
ARC review: From the very first word to the end, I was enraptured with this book. I want what Neve had. From the 3 Magic Mike looking men to their “special” accessories. Men like them are definitely on my Christmas wishlist. Once I started it, I didn’t put it down. I completely devoured it. Great writing skills from both authors.
The award for most unique holiday peens goes to Vera Valentine and R.K. Pierce. This one was lots of fun. The FMC received three mysterious gifts that just happen to be elves and they’ve got really fun packages of their own. It’ll leave you full of Christmas cheer!
I am always giddy for a Vera Valentine and friends creation—and this one did not disappoint!!!
Tinsel, North and Buzz (our sweet little Nossë) come packing with quite a few de-light-ful features on top of their gloriously sweet and caring personalities *swoon*
Really hoping we get more of this group in the future!
This is such a fun story. It's filled with cute, funny, and some seriously spicy moments and you won't want to put it down. Both authors writing styles really compliment each other in a way that it feels like they were always meant to write this together. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves joy and a little bit of silliness.
Neve is not looking forward to Christmas with the family. But, it’s the holidays, right?! Unfortunately, this small bit of snow turned into a crazy snowstorm on the way home. Hopefully everything is in the package she ordered from the online store so she has the presents to take with her on her flight. But, extra snow and extra presents on her front step have made her plans change dramatically from what she was planning. Will everything work out? Will she have all of her presents accounted for? Will the snow keep coming down? What will come of her Christmas?
This was a fun and short Christmas read. I didn’t know what to expect. But, this proved to be a fun Christmas for Neve for sure. This story was well written and pulls you in right away. It’s fun and sassy. I gobbled it up really quickly.
Dealing with overbearing family members before you've even left for the holidays is not the greatest. Frankly, Neve was given a HUGE get out of jail free card when her flight got canceled thanks to the snowstorm. Then she was triply blessed when three adventuresome winter elves showed up (in her house!) wanting to give her everything (and anything!) her heart desired.
Yeah, Neve definitely lucked out when North, Tinsel, and Buzz were delivered to her doorstep. Sure, it was initially a little scary to have three hunky males in her house, but Neve got over that pretty quickly. And she was VERY intrigued by their, umm, anatomical differences. Very. Intrigued.
𝒲𝓇𝒶𝓅𝓅𝑒𝒹 & 𝒯𝒶𝓅𝓅𝑒𝒹 𝒷𝓎 𝒱𝑒𝓇𝒶 𝒱𝒶𝓁𝑒𝓃𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑒 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝑅.𝒦. 𝒫𝒾𝑒𝓇𝒸𝑒 ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 Reading a spicy AF book about a trio of elves with…*ahem* particularly endowed specialties (Christmas light Jacob’s ladder, anyone?) - was not on my 2024 bingo card…but here we are. 😆
This book was so cringe but so damn funny. The unique world the authors created in this short story was so good. I honestly need more. 🥹
This book was full of smutty why-choose goodness coupled with 3 golden retriever MMC’s. The authors did such a good job at incorporating some character development while still sticking with a theme.
If you like smutty why-choose and enjoy Christmas - check out this read. It’s hysterically heartwarming and a wonderful distraction from reality. 😅🎄
I officially have another holiday favorite and I absolutely MUST have this in a paperback!! It's a cute, steamy piece where a woman stressed out to the max (thanks to family and general real life stuff that she's had going on) is guided through relaxing and enjoying a different part of life ;) In the form of very unique 3 men with EXTREMELY unique *clears throat*. I'll never look at those pretty presents the same way after reading this piece -- and I'm not complaining! I can't WAIT to reread this again and again!! Fantastic job, Vera & R.K.!!!! I've got another favorite to recommend! :D
Wrapping presents, listening to A Cheetahlicious Christmas and reading a Vera holiday short story? Sounds like Christmas to me. This was number one of my Twelve Days of Holiday Romance book challenge and it was the best way to kick off the season. Nothing can ever top Back for Seconds because that book changed my life, but this is my favorite of Vera’s Christmas themed novellas. Who knew Santas elves made house calls? If you like this and want to explore some more silly and smutty holiday novellas, I would recommend Regifted by Vera Valentine and J. L. Logosz.
Three presents come to life in the form of Santa’s elves in this short unhinged story.
Well, there’s a lot to love in this book. We have a Jacob’s ladder made of Christmas bulbs, foreskin that looks like a cardboard wrapping tube, cum that tastes like holiday treats. That is not an exhaustive list, y’all. These authors really gifted us some inspired writing this year, and you’re not going to want to miss the fun!
My face hurts from all the grinning I did while reading this story. I highlighted multiple passages that were laugh out loud funny. But then I'd expect nothing else. If you want a story that will leave you laughing, gasping, sweating, cackling, swooning, and aweing with a whole lot more laughter. Then...waves hand...one click.
Every time I finish a Vera Valentine story I'm caught by just how sweet they are amidst the... action, and this story was no different. Was the fairy light light show a bit of a surprise? Yes, but it was all so loving and caring you just find yourself going along with it. A great little Christmas treat.
The FMC has one hell of a Christmas in this book. You have the FMC that got royally screwed over and is like many of us, over the holidays and the stress it brings. Then comes her 3 frisky, sexual, special packaged elves who give her a whole lot of Christmas spirit. When I say I’ve read this book 4 times, I’ve literally read it 4 times. Trust me you won’t be disappointed!

Neve notices she has three packages wrapped perfectly on her door step. She has no idea who they are from. She brings the gifts inside but before opening them she decides to take a nap. When she wakes up she finds three sexy elves waiting to give her what her heart desires.
Christmas lights will never be bright enough anymore!
This was such a fun and naughty little holiday story! Very unique and humorous with spice and sweetness to spare. A perfect bite sized read for the season!
OK I absolutely loved this! It's funny, sweet and spicy with a HEA and characters that I just adored! I'm going to be wishing for 3 hunky elves of my own under the tree this year!
A christmastastic read, I absolutely loved this holiday short and can’t wait to read either more of this one (as it was hinted there was more to come) or maybe even a different holiday tale? hmm… I guess we shall see.
If you need me before Christmas I’ll be patiently awaiting my three Christmas elves to grant me my hearts desires. This book was the perfect level of hilarious and smutty. I loved the spice. My favorite Christmas read of this holiday season!
A perfect little christmas novella just as Vera and RK do so very well. I was excited for this to come (pun not intended) and I’m glad I read it as soon as I could. Happy holidays!
