Christian Mutter is the kind of man my parents warned me to stay away from—a bad boy, trouble, a lost cause. Many would argue we’re not compatible. Yet somehow, we are exactly what the other needs.
To most, I appear to have the perfect loving parents, protective brothers, a growing small business, and great friends. I even have the perfect smile to prove they’re right.
But my life is anything but perfect.
I harbor secrets. Deep, dark secrets that could devastate my family.
Secrets I’ve only shared with one other person—a rival, an enemy, a Mutter.
I’m Amelia Koch and I’ve been secretly dating the town bad boy and member of my family’s rival, Christian Mutter, for almost two years.
As hard as that news will be on my family, it’s the other secrets that I share with Christian that might hurt them the most.
My family wants me to marry my brother’s best friend, Badger. A man I can’t stand. A man that gives me the creeps. A man that tried to hurt me.
Christian saved me from that man when my family was too blind to see Badger for what he really is. But that won’t make our relationship any easier for them to accept. They only see Christian’s last name.
I won’t be able to keep my relationship with Christian a secret for much longer. Because I’m now tied to him forever.
But our relationship status isn’t the worst of our problems. My family is going to lose it when they find out that I’m also carrying his child.
Author’s This is Christian and Amelia’s story. A forbidden love, brothers’ enemy, touch her and perish, surprise pregnancy, grumpy-sunshine, opposites attract, bad boy, good girl, emotional, angst filled, small-town romance between a hot, brooding mechanic who seems to create trouble simply by breathing and an exhausted people pleaser who’s finally ready to fight for her own happiness even if it means losing everything she loves.
Aria Bliss writes edgy, emotionally charged contemporary romance with spice, humor, drama, and big feels. Readers love her work for her engaging storytelling, relatable characters, steamy romance, and emotional depth. She has a soft spot for single dads, second chances, forbidden romance, and grumpy bad boys with sweet centers that are impossible not to love.
Finally we got the forbidden romance we've been waiting for between Christian Mutter & Amelia Koch 🔥 Throw in an unexpected pregnancy, a stalker hiding in plan sight and a three generation long feud, and the town will never be the same!
I've loved every book I've read by the Author, but the Mutter brothers series just hits differently. Christian is dark and haunted with a lot of secrets, but Amelia's sunshine is the light that keeps him going. Their families feud won't end due to their coming baby, so get ready for all the drama and sabotage...
Be aware that this series does go into detail re significant psychological trauma, domestic violence, child abuse, drug & alcohol abuse and sexual assault. The back stories of the characters are heavy, but they've been written with respect and clarity.
Christian and Amelia are so perfect together, right from the start, but their secret relationship has been easy for too long. Once the complications begin, they both are stretched beyond their limits as they are tested by every side imaginable.
Lia may be the sunshine and light, but she's got a dark secret that pits her against her family just when she needs their support the most. Christian has allowed the darkness to rule for far too long, while he struggles to find his way through the miasma to his happiness with Lia.
Words cannot accurately describe how immersive this story was, how completely captivated I was while following them on their journey. So much angst and drama, and all of it is presented with such depth of human compassion that even the villains can be sympathetic. Most of them, anyway.
This story is not for the faint of heart - pay attention to the author's content warnings. Real drama and tragedy happened here, and it's not just about how those circumstances can shape a person but also how they can be overcome. Because of the depths of the low moments, the highs are so much higher and the HEA is full of joy even though it's a little bittersweet as well.
If you love your bad boys with strong possessive streaks and hearts of gold, you owe it to yourself to read the Mutter Brothers series. Each one so far has been exquisitely written, but this one just might be my favorite of them all. Highly recommended. I reviewed an ARC of this book.
Christian Mutter has had it worse than his brothers, even his twin, Chase. Suffering from anxiety, when his addict mother tempted him with drugs, he fell into the trap, and now, admits that the lure will exist if he lives until he's ninety and stays clean... Amelia Koch is the only daughter of the family that hate the Mutters. Popular and friendly, she is a born carer and peacemaker. The news that these two are seeing one another will rock the town. And that isn't all... Readers of this series have seen how Christian tries to keep clean, how he tries to look after his mother, how he tries to not worry his family; here we see his protective side come out fighting, his honourable side display admirable conscientiousness, his strength of character present itself despite temptations. Above all, we see his hotness and devotion. Amelia is the perfect foil; sweetness over a secret sexiness. She sees the true Christian and is willing to wait and fight for him, This is a wonderful series, and the Koch family have been thorns for a while, seeing the changes in the relationship is fascinating. Aria Bliss has created a family - the Mutters - filled with a variety of men, justifiable since they are only half-brothers, and all have different back stories. I have been worried about Christian, and this story gave me plenty to worry about, but in the end, I am pleased he gets his HEA.
Finally another Mutter brother book! I loved the first three and this fourth installment didn’t disappoint. Christian has struggled with addiction but has been clean for the past few years but he fights with self doubt everyday. Amelia helps calm his demons but even though they’ve been secretly seeing each other for more than two years it isn’t until an unplanned baby happens that they both have to come clean to their families. With Amelie from the “Koch” side of the town that could be very tricky. But Amelia is determined that her family see Christian for the good soul he hides and not the gruff recovering addict exterior he portrays. Although it may cost her her family. As they navigate the new baby and try to bring peace to the two feuding families Christian comes to realize this could be his HEA if he’s strong enough to hold onto it. I appreciated the time the author took to expand both Amelie and Christian’s characters. We got peaks at them in previous books but this story lays out how they came to be and how they came to be together. It all makes for a really good book. This author hits the mark on some hard subjects. I would definitely recommend. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I recieved an advanced review copy of this book for free via booksirens and am voluntarily leaving my review.
Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. Note that there is mention of drug addiction, child abuse, domestic violence, attempted sexual assault so may be triggering for sensitive readers. I knew Chtistian's story would be a deeply emotional one to read and gosh was it heavy! He is definitely a tortured soul, believing he is not worthy to love and be loved, and had me tearing and emotional. I appreciated how the author captured a recovering addict's struggles and temptation and subtly weaved in that mental health and a good support network plays a strong part in a recovering addict's journey. Amelia had her own trauma to overcome but she was unwavering in her love and support of Christian. Although it's not obvious and their relationship may appear lopsided, I thought the 2 gave each other strength and supported each other's recovery. An amazingly well written story that will pull at your heartstrings as you journey with Christian and Amelia as they find and fight for their HEA.
Christian and Amelia have a lot of obstacles to overcome. He’s a recovering addict. She’s taken over the family flower shop business after her parents have nearly run it into the ground. There is also a 3 or 4 generation feud between their families. They both have mothers who are less than caring. The Mutters seem accepting and supportive. Amelia’s family seem like a bunch of snotty, formerly privileged, manipulative a-holes. They only support you if you “keep to your place” and never question them. Christian was trying so hard to fight his demons and be a good man but had a tough battle fighting his insecurities. Amelia had to stand up and fight for herself against her overbearing family and THEIR hidebound ideas of what SHE should do and how SHE should behave. A very emotional story.

This story starts out with Amelia who is an intelligent young woman determined to bring the family business into the “modern” world. She has great ideas and works very hard while hiding things from her family. Amelia’s heart belongs to Christian Mutter who is is hated by her family and that would be kind way of putting it. These two have to hide their relationship. Christian has overcome his past and still struggles with trouble but he works hard and has made his life better. This story is so well written and I loved how strong they are together. He gives her an inner strength and she knows he will be there. It’s great to see them overcome the differences with the families more so hers. There are surprises along the way. This is great story and one of my favorites by this author. I highly recommend it
The fourth book in the series about the Mutters brothers. The third book dealt with Chase, this time it’s his twin Christian who’s one of the main characters. He is a dark horse with many secrets, who has been introduced to drugs by his addicted mother. Amelia, on the other hand, is a popular girl, a born carer and peacemaker. Everyone is shocked when they are having a baby together.
Bliss managed to create two believable characters from two rivaling families that were introduced in previous books but this is the tale of how they came to be together.
As I have said before, I like Bliss’ writing style and storytelling and this book did not disappoint. I gave the book 4 stars and am looking forward to the fifth book in the series. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Truck Up ~ Mutter Brothers #4 by Aria Bliss is another fantastic instalment in this addictive series. This book follows Christian and Amelia’s story—a gripping forbidden romance fueled by a century-old family feud.
Aria Bliss’s writing is rich and immersive. The characters felt incredibly real, and the emotional tension was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of steam. The story flowed effortlessly, keeping me hooked from start to finish.
If you enjoy heartfelt romance with depth, drama, and sizzling chemistry, I highly recommend this book Reasons I enjoyed this book: Action-packed, Easy-to-read, Happily Ever After, Informative, Original, Page-turner, Romantic, Realistic, Steamy, and Wonderful characters
This is book 4 in Bliss' Mutter Brothers series, and this is an amazing addition to the series. We have Christian and Amelia's journey and its one not to be missed! These two are just perfect together but Amelia's family force them into a secret relationship. Christian struggles with temptation and guilt and yet Amelia is able to calm his demons like no other. This book was captivating from the start. Well written and balanced with amazing characters and a smooth flowing storyline. I absolutely loved it on its own and as part of this series.

I loved Christian and Amelia and their story of love and survival. Their families have been rivals since the dawn of time it seems and they are not supposed to be within inches of each other, but Amelia doesn't care about a decade-long feud. When Christian is there to save her they end up with a special bond that no one can break though they try to. The love these two feel for each other is powerful, but when her family tries to force her to be with someone who hurt her the truth and lies will be exposed. What will happen when someone goes after her again will Christian be able to save her? Or will it be too late? I just loved this story from beginning to end. It kept you captivated.
Book 4 of the Mutter Brothers series. It is another wonderful book in this series. I did not want to put it down. This one revolves around the town angel, Amelia, and the town bad boy, Christian. Their families have feuded for over a hundred years but they love each other. Then add a baby into the mix and things get crazy. There is also some danger around Amelia and Christian must help her. I highly recommend this book to all romance readers.

This one was a little tough to read. I’m getting really tired of this feud between these two families. It suck’s that Amelia had to go through all thing to be the one to finally hopefully bring everyone together. Christian has had a super rough life and unfortunately it gets worse before it gets better. I wanted to yell at a few different characters in this book but thankfully we have some good character development at the end. I’m hoping Ash’s story is next so he can finally see what everyone else sees.
I love the Mutters and it's bad boy Christian's story. He fights everyday to remain clean with the help of Amelia Koch, the family who hates the Mutters. The two of them have been involved secretly in a 2 year affair, no one is aware. When a surprise pregnancy happens, everything blows up, Christian doesn't believe he will be a good father and the Koch brothers want to do him some damage. Grams is the best and it's a great story, everything Aria gives us in her books!
This is a beautiful series that brings up some tough topics. This one concerns addiction and depression but also expectations of family. I liked the characters and the story. I would have liked to know even more about Christian’s feelings and Amelia’s thoughts in the process of not being the on taking responsibility of her family anymore.

I loved this so hard. The emotions in the book are overwhelming and so spot on. Written extremely well and the things covered in this book were Im sure hard to write. Family feud hundred years long comes down to this book. The unlikely pairing but they were oh so good together. You get heat, chemistry, struggles and mental problems to overcome. Was an amazing read.
Christian and Amelia’s story has them in a secret relationship for a few years. His family and her family are rivals. Throw in an addition problem, Christian, and secrets, Amelia. But when you throw in an accidental pregnancy that will def cause a little drama. But in the end love prevails. This was a rival family, opposite attract secret pregnancy story for another Mutter Bro. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
We finally get to know why Christian didn't want Chase pretending to be him. Who doesn't love a redeemable bad boy. Liked both main characters and the tidbits of info we find out about the other brothers along the way. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This was a great secret romance story. Christian and Amelia were perfect together even though they were very different. The whole town had their opinions of Christian but we saw a caring loyal side that it to took a while for them to see. A great story. I receive copy from Booksirens and leave my review voluntarily.
So I have already read Truck Off from Aria Bliss before and that one followed Christian's twin brother, so I kinda already fell for the Mutter brothers but who doesn't want to read an enemies to lovers. Also the contact name for him is absolutely perfect. Read the books to find out.I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I loved Amelia for being able to look behind the surface of Christian´s behaviour, it´s easy to judge but we never know what life will throw our way and if and how we will deal with it.
It took time for these characters to grow on me. I always struggle with books that touch on addictions but I knew Aria would handle it well so I kept on with it and it was a great read!
Christian is the bad boy Mutter brother and his secret relationship with a Koch is just one more decision that makes him a rebel! I really liked how he supported Amelia which allowed her to stand up to the pressures from her family. And Grams is always a hoot!
Can a broken brother from one family and a protected sister from another be taken seriously? If you have read any books in this series you already know that the Mutter family is complicated. One father, brothers from many mothers, but they were blessed with one magnificent grandmother. The MMC Christian is loyal to his brothers but also feels loyalty and obligation to his mother. The FMC Amelia is the protected princess, only daughter/sister of the Koch family. There is past history between these two families that is also complicated. Christian and Amelia have been seeing each other is secret for two years before their secret is discovered. This book includes family issues, loyalty, love, and a baby. Have the tissues ready and prepare for a wonderful story. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is a Bad Boy meets Good Girl with a Romeo and Juliet Retelling mixed in Romance, and this is the fourth book in the Mutter Brothers series. I have read the first three books in this series before picking up this book. I really love the characters in this book and series, but Some of the adults in this book acted like kids. I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved getting to know Christian's character, and I loved how everyone paints him as a bad guy when that is not really true. The ending of this book was really great. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
Christian is what most people would call a bad boy. He is misunderstood. Amelia is the good girl who is a people pleaser. She is trying to keep her family together and one of their family businesses from going under. Christian and Amelia end up secretly dating after an event happened (don’t want to spoil anything.) Troupes: grumpy/sunshine, family feud between their 2 families, forbidden love, opposites attract, small town romance. Thank you to BookSirens for my copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
