I’m just going to put it out there, this was a hot, smut fest with a little m*rder incorporated into the story. The professor saves his student and from here on they can’t keep their hands off each other.

Another quick read in the St. Valentine series, not my first Emily Klepp read, and she didn’t disappoint with the hot smexy mess 🤭

I read this book in one sitting and ate it up! I loved the chemistry between Mr Vega ( Gunner ) and Mila. This one ends in a hea and was definitely worth the read!

Yeah absolutely no … she just got raped and they like act as everything is normal and then have sex 😀???
But not only that it’s just the whole vibe is off, like why isn’t she freaking out? And why is she so normal about the whole murdering, finding out that her professors is a killer, feeding the corpse to the pigs situation Lmao.

I tried s few books from this author but I think they are just not working for me, so I won’t waste my time with it anymore and won’t read any more books from them.

Forbidden Valentine follows Mila, a young college student. She’s on a date that goes horribly wrong and her professor ends up saving her. Mila meant to text her best friend but sent it to Mr. Vega by mistake. He knew she was going on a date and gave her his number if she needed a ride afterwards. Once the two are in quite the turn of events they quickly find that their feelings for one another are finally about to be acted upon.

This can be read as a standalone but is actually apart of a series of books that all interconnect. The St. Valentines series. A bunch of dark romance authors teamed up to bring us all a different spicy story for the holiday of love!

A good read

This is a good quick read. Its part of a Valentine's Day series and this one is really good. When a horrible date turns into your professor helping you out of a bad situation. Mila wasn't expecting Gunner to fall for her, but he did and they both fell hard for each other.

as a die hard dark romance girlie with a love for all things crazy,unhinged,possessive and just murderous tbh this is so different but when i tell you i was giggling the whole way through & i mean of course 💦 too because that was a whole lot of spice... i mean a lot!

this is book 9 in the series and by far the smuttiest,this is literally what sums up a smutty novella,primarily smut,minimal plot,a little taboo and i ate it all up... every last bit of it🥹

i've never really been a fan of super smutty no plot but emily's writing is perfect,i fell in love with her writing style so much!! she writes spice scenes perfectly,and for another professor x student it was so nice to get a different take on a usually taboo story... & the end.. the audience... OBSSESED I TELL YOU

truly fell in love with the whole storyline,is a lot of spice and a little sprinkle of some dark stuff too,a little murdeous rage never hurt anyone...🙂‍↕️

plot?? 4?⭐️ plot is hard in this one because their isn't much it's a smutty faced novella? so like i guess it's pretty decent! i love the little nuggets about gunner that we get though and do get to know him in a plot sense and how he is how he is! so yeah lol🥹

This one was not for me personally, but it still could be for you.

It was too…rushed and “out of pocket” for me. This was more just an erotic short story vs dark romance short story like the others. I felt there just wasn’t much to it.

I do like the idea of Gunner’s “side job” and how he originally helped her, but the rest of it was too much too fast so it made it too unrealistic. I just couldn’t see her willingly asking for and doing that just hours after the blind date “disaster” (trying not to include spoilers).

A happy ending, transformation, for Mila, when something is taken against her wishes!! Don’t we all wish this is the outcome for those who’ve experienced such events?! it was definitely sexy at times but it was extremely fast paced and just so unrealistic i couldn't fully get into it. firstly the girl was assaulted and just never had trauma from that besides from crying once? and she fucked her professor the same night she was brutally assaulted it was just so confusing to me idk.. was rushed and just not realistic

Oh wow this was good! I haven’t found a book by Emily that I haven’t liked. Don’t expect to either. Mila is a student and she runs into some trouble, leaving her needing help. She gets help from someone she didn’t expect. Then cue the fireworks! The was dark and absolutely delightful!

Check your triggers then enjoy this delicious short steamy story. Mila is a student of a hunk named gunner who has a secret identity. One evening Mila has a blind date with a jerk who tries to take advantage of her so she leaves the restaurant and he follows her and violates Mila. Once she gets away she accidentally sends gunner a text meant for her bff. Gunner comes to her rescue and they deal with the jerk. Once they are cleaned up she enjoys Mila in a way she has only dreamed of. Gunner and Mila must remain a secret for the next 4 months until graduation.

Dang, this is such a good book, and I am not surprised as it was written by Emily Klepp, another one of my go-to authors.

I love my dark romance's, the more unhinged, possessive, and just murderous, the better in some cases. To be honest, in my opinion, this book is just so different from what I am used to from Emily. I spent a good deal of this book giggling and out right laughing. And the spice was right on par for Emily. It was a good amount of spice, and I mean it was a LOT!

I think of all 9 books in this series so far, this was the spiciest book, it primarly smut honestly with very little plot which I wish there had been more of, but as taboo as it could have been, like most smutty girls, I ate it all up.

For what plot and storyline there is among the spice and dark stuff, I loved it. There was even a bit of murder and rage, and in this dark world, that never hurt any of us in the real world.

I loved the way that the dark stuff starts off right from the start. And please know that there are some BDSM elements in this book that could be of concern to some. This is not a love story per-say but a sexually charged story that is raw, primal, and just delicious.

I adored this story. I loved the spice. And I can't wait to read the last book in this series.

I have one major rule in my life above all others: I do not trust anyone that owns a pig farm. If you read this novella, you will know exactly why I feel this way. This is a very short smutty story that is part of a series written by different authors that can be read as a standalone. There is a little bit of a plot that includes some SA and some unaliving, but for the most part, this is a spicy story between a student and a professor. It was a very quick read and definitely entertaining. I definitely wouldn’t have minded reading more about these two and I may have to check out some of the other stories in this series. I always appreciate dominant man that understands and appreciates things like subspace and safe words. The MMC does a wonderful job of showing that he cares about the FMC as well as being dominant and a little scary (but never with her).

The flirty tension between Professor Vega and Mila is so hot and you can feel that it is reaching a boiling point before Mila goes on her Valentine’s date. Gunner is such a strong, dominant force that teaches human sexuality. He is also super protective and obsessed with Mila. He is there when she needs him and makes his intentions known to her very plainly. Mila is a smart woman that trusts her instincts. Although she should have trusted them a little more. She goes through a traumatic experience but deals with her trauma in a completely different way than falling apart as many would. Because of the length of the story, we didn’t get very deep into these characters, but I still appreciated them and enjoyed their story.

This is a dark romance and it is definitely one where you need to look at the triggers. There is SA and unaliving as well as some dismemberment. It is wonderfully spicy and the chemistry between the two main characters is fantastic. It is a very quick read and a great story if you are looking for something dark and spicy.

Forbidden Valentine was a short, dark, and spicy read that I really enjoyed. It touches on some more emotional and sensitive topics, and I thought they were written very well and I loved how the characters handled them 🩷 Their communication with one another and the way their relationship progresses made for a really great read!

Mila is strong, confident, and isn’t afraid to say what she wants, and I absolutely love a strong fmc like her 🖤 When her night takes a horrible turn, Gunner is there to help her and that’s where their relationship begins to take off. From there, their connection and how they treated one another was everything 🩷 She didn’t bat an eye when he confessed a few things to her, and actually helped him with a certain situation! 🫢🐷

Gunner is a HUGE green flag, with a really, really, sweet and caring side to him, that also comes with a bold, dominant, and protective side 😍 He was definitely not afraid to speak up on how he felt or what he wanted! The way he cares for Mila was absolutely heartwarming. I loved how he stepped in to save her, and reassured & comforted her. He always made sure that she was comfortable with everything and took really good care of her. He melted my heart with how sweet & caring he was 🖤

Their relationship was very mature and healthy, and I love to see that 🩷 They have great banter and open communication, and they both have quite the mouth!! 🥵 I loved the ending of this book and was really happy to see Mila so happy and cared for like she should be 🖤 The plot was emotional, dark, spicy, really heartwarming, and I would definitely recommend this book!!

A brilliant dark romance but thankfully compared to some of the other stories from the St. Valentines series not as chilling as some, but still, like any darkened romance, readers do need to be aware of triggers that will come up in the story. But after reading all the previous stories I simply wasn't sure how this Author was going to incorporate the 'chill factor' that seemed ominous with the St. Valentine university and its cohort. The good thing is that this is a story you can pick up and simply enjoy without the rest of the series and in some ways I am so glad that it didn't have the same sense of darkness and dread that I was getting from some of the others, but again having read them all in order I was subconsciously preparing for something really evil to eventuate. For a quick read it definitely provided a thrilling and truly enjoyable read with enough emotional angst to keep my interest throughout. The subject matter of the class certainly provided a glimpse into how the plot was going to play out and certainly did bring a smile or two for my reading pleasure. Loved the characters and love the whole idea of karma finding it way to those requiring it. But a story still very true to this Authors other works and perhaps a little 'lighter' but still so entertaining and enjoyable.

Ok so let me first start by saying how much I am absolutely loving the ST VALENTINES World !!!! Each book is written by a different author and well there truly are no words to possibly express all the reasons you need to read them . All I can say is prepare yourself for a wild ride and a very long night of reading. That being said, Emily’s Forbidden Valentine truly is my all time favorite so far , but then again she does happen to be on my list of top 10 favorite authors. Forbidden Valentine is so much more than your typical dark and twisted novella . The way Milas and Gunners story touched my heart all the emotions I found myself reeling with I genuinely never saw coming . Mila has been through some stuff in her life that without a doubt takes a toll on her emotionally . Gunner becomes her savior her protector, the person who will go above and beyond for the woman her grows to love . Hes everything you could ever want in a morally grey MMC . Because even though he comes across as cold to other people With Mila he’s so different, he’s soft and loving . What’s not to love about a bad boy with a heart of gold underneath. Sure Forbidden Valentine was dark and raw and gritty at times . But it’s also very beautiful and emotional and the steam well off the charts hot .
