Veiled: A Short Thriller (City of Lies Book 3), my fourteenth enjoyable short (43-page) conspiracy thriller from author Sam Chase that I finished in under 45-minutes. “I received a Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author with Marked: A Short Thriller (City of Lies Book 4) next on my TBR list. still going strong in the third entry in the City of Lies series, it had that element that i was looking for and enjoyed from the previous two books. The characters had that feel that I was looking for and enjoyed getting into this world with them, it was everything that I wanted and enjoyed getting back to this world.
