Content warning and major spoiler: The heroines twin brother is her fated mate and she sleeps with him.

I don’t want to know anything else about this book after that discovery nor do I care to know how the author plans to “explain it away” or not (I don’t know where this book is going). I feel like that should have warranted a content/trigger warning somewhere because that’s a big no-go for me. The author pulled a Cassandra Clare Mortal Instruments crap and I’M NOT HERE FOR IT.

I’m angry because I wasted a good 30 minutes of my life with this book with no warning that this was what I was walking into. I would have loved to not have picked up this book had I known.

Honestly, it was fine at best just kinda boring and entirely all too predictable

This book definitely wasnt what i expected... but in a totally amazing way... She is the blacksheep of the family looks nothing like her twin.. she visits the dungeons on a regular basis and has a favorite inmate. She is locked in her room very often. BUT...the night of the Haze she has her little friends(mice) help her escape.. oh shes a wolf shifter... wakes up the next morning to unraveling secrets that just need explanation... magic wolves found family what more do you need!! Highly recommend

Wonderful story line and beginning to the next book, such a raw exciting journey!

This story is wonderful and shows that a good heart can be found even with the hardest amounts of abuse and mistreatment in the world, the strength to grow and heal is wonderfully shown and the love story keeps you on the edge.

an unexpected gem

I came across this book by chance and thought sure why not from the cover. Best decision ever.. such a great world you are thrown in and a few twists and turns straight up but it got its hooks on and couldn't put it down. If you like fantasy/romanasty a must add to your TBR

Didn’t like how Kieran treated raven b4 finding out she was his mate and doing a 180 after that. Also not happy with how fast his father died - for all the pain he caused he deserved more

Wonderfully Written

This book was delicious to devour. I read it in almost 1 sitting because I just could not put it down. Last one to the next book is a rotten egg!
