Kyle John Baker is an American cartoonist, comic book writer-artist, and animator known for his graphic novels and for a 2000s revival of the series Plastic Man.
Baker has won numerous Eisner Awards and Harvey Awards for his work in the comics field.

Kyle Baker takes his readers on a vulnerable and candid journey through a series of obstacles and challenges. He vividly presents both his failures and his victories on the path from a child with a dream to a 30-plus-year realization of that dream.

Kyle takes us along with him on the detours and delays he encountered along the way and the internal dialog that often served to discourage him from progressing.

As I read through the pages of this fast-paced memoir, I experienced a full range of emotions and was encouraged to always persevere in every worthwhile endeavor.

An amazing and motivating book with the story of Kyle’s life. It takes a lot of courage to open up so candidly to the world. His commitment to his family, and to himself, is honorable. Looking forward to reading the “next chapter” of his life if he decides to write again.
