The crew has taken a hit. Top members sit in jail and it is up to Slim and someone who used to be their rival, Mari, to set them free. She has fallen for Slim and to prove her worth to him, and the crew, she puts her money and word on the line to help free the men.
The Haitians are down and out with two brothers pitted against each other. Pierre is making his move to separate himself from his mother who he feels is the cause of them losing power and money. He also is planning to kill his brother, Jean Paul, before the unstable sibling kills him.
Then there is the new blood on the block. Freshly released ten years early from prison, Sonny is ready to make his mark in the game. His early release was made possible by a Giordano. One of the members of the mob who wants Slim dead for vendettas of the past. Sonny agrees to kill Slim for the Italians, but once on the bricks he says “Slim hasn’t done nothing to me, the hell with them Italians.” But as he gets his old crew together will the game end up pitting him against Slim’s crew anyway?

there’s a new sheriff and posse in gangster world, Sonny
Thank you author for writing more characters and adding new drama and actions to storylines bc I was getting kind of bored reading about Slim’s crew and women. The series had start to focus more on romance than on gangster business. I’m glad you finally gave Slim a woman even tho she was the enemy, who would have killed Slim a month ago but ok, carry on but maybe he can concentrate now and be the leader his crew needs and a father to his son. He falls in love so quickly, maybe he needs to practice being single and smart like Lucky . Slim’s crew distractions and weakness are women That’s why they get caught slipping. I think it was wrong of Mya to take a child from his mother. And she say she just did it for her, Antwan and their child, not the crew, girl bye and someone please slap her and kick her out the family. I never like her character either. Tim ending gave me another broken heart 💔. And no Jean-Paul you’re not welcome in Lucky life, you’re a psycho and a loose cannon. You and your mother are pure evil. Dude you just about killed everyone in your family. And I hate Dirt is still on the loose bc he’s dangerous. I disagree with the crew about their decision on Greg. And I hate Alphonso went out like that. I agree with Jean-Paul, Slim’s crew has a lot of weaknesses, they need to rebuild their defense. Their crew is dying. And what’s Noonie role is now bc he’s not effective at all to the crew.

13 Books
Wow I just completed book 13, I am really into and overly excited thus far. The storyline is extremely good and very easy to follow. I have always been a fan of Donald Gaines because his writing can put you right there with the action, where you can see and feel it. That is what I am getting from here, wow. Thank you for such creativity and time.

AWESOME READ Alex
The Corners series is so dawn good Alex just keep writing these books cause long as they keep my interest I will keep on supporting you. I just know u not going to let Lucky die off in book 13, That dang Serria just don't want to listen to nobody now she just got her cherry pop by the enemy. But this was a awesome read u got to read the series people.

Wwo Alex Richardson does it again. Each book gets better and better and leaves you wanting more. The introduction of the new crew was right on time. i'm so ready for the next one.
