I’m not sure where to start with my review as I’m an emotional mess. To me though? That is the true example of how incredible this story is. When an author can make me that fully invested shows how talented she is. I’m a lover of MC stories and this one is definitely in my top 10. Draven is a VP of the RBMC and is having a tough time dealing with some things in life. When he is introduced to McKinsey, a therapist, he doesn’t expect the instant attraction and neither does she. This story takes you on a journey of which I never expected. I laughed, I cried and I completely and utterly fell in love with these characters. I don’t want to give too much away, but let me just say, you need this story in your life. It deals with all kinds of life’s challenges and you will need tissues, but this author wrote this story with so much grace and dignity. A must read for all!

Add this one to the list of books that made me cry… and I loved every single second of it. McKinsey and Draven were absolute dynamite together. I came for the taboo therapist/patient relationship, but I stayed for the emotional depth that completely wrecked me.

This story pulls at your heartstrings hard. I was sneaking in pages well past my lunch break because I physically could not put it down. I love when a book grips you so tightly that you feel it in your soul and this one did exactly that.

The writing is incredible, with a smooth, addictive flow that keeps you turning pages longer than you intend. The characters are flawed, raw, and deeply compelling. This is one of those books that will live rent-free in my head for a long time.

I love a book that takes me on an emotional journey and makes me feel several emotions. The care and grace that went into bringing this story to life is palpable. Love knows no bounds and the way Murphy brought Draven and McKinsey together gives you all the feels and push/pull you expect from a complex love story. This book had it all. Grit, pain, angst, love... whatever it is you need and want to feel, is in this book. Though I love a book that helps me escape, I love when real issues are intertwined with the story to keep me grounded. I can tell that Murphy Wallace put her heart out there for all of us to see. Highly recommend!

This was Incredible the emotions and heartache, self doubt all come together so gracefully that I felt all of it. I was so nervous not knowing what was going to happen.
Draven and McKinsey's story is beautifully written I loved how they took a chance on each other even though their pasts haunt them.
I don't know how to explain my feelings but if you get a chance to read this please do it, it comes from the heart and is incredible.

Riveting, Heartfelt, Amazing Read

The story of McKinsey and Draven will take you on a ride that will leave you breathless, emotionally wrecked, put back together again, and determined to live life with purpose each and every day. I found myself pleasing, “NO!” as I turned the pages to keep reading well past my bedtime. Murphy Wallace did an amazing job depicting what life often looks like for cancer warriors. Keep fighting. Keep living. Forever. (IYKYK!)

After reading Injustice And Absolution I was really looking forward to reading this book. I had no idea of the emotional journey I was about to embark on. McKinsey and Draven's story is about two lost souls who were destined to come together and help one another heal. This is an incredibly emotional story, so you may want to grab your tissues. Murphy writes with such compassion and tenderness. She's quite a remarkable author. Her words stick with you long after the story is finished. Kudos Murphy! This is by far one of the best books I've read this year.

Draven and McKinsey's story is simply one of a kind. Filled with guilt and heartbreak, healing and forgiveness, and such an intense love once they both got over the walls of their respective lifestyles. As with other works by this author, this book will take the reader on an emotional journey that one can't help but take a ride on.
