The Centerville Trilogy contains the following stories; Nine Alleys, Accidents Happen (expanded version), and Scare the Girls.
Nine Legend has it that if you walk the nine alleys of Centerville one week before Halloween, you’ll see a ghost in Odd Fellows cemetery. The entire town of Centerville falls apart in one night after three local youths decide to put the legend to the test.
Accidents In August of 1963, Anne Marie Burk threw her crutches in the bed of a beige and white Chevy Fleetside pickup, climbed inside the cab, and never came home… twenty years later she arrived on her mother’s doorstep in her bruised and battered twelve-year-old body. The citizens of the tightly knit borough of Centerville are perplexed; the Irish community believes Anne Marie’s reemergence to be a miracle, the Polish community believes it to be a curse.
